界上最基本的要素就是空气，人类可以不吃食物一个月而活着，但绝对不可能一分钟不呼吸而活着，因为动植物都需要空气，要不然会因此而无法 生存。空气是由氧气、二氧化碳和稀有气体所组成的，稀有气体各有五种，分别是氦、氖、氪以及氡，这五种气体常常拿来被利用，但人类却只能吸入氧气，所以植物会 产生光合作用来制造氧气，使氧气不会被用完。

所谓空气污染，即指空气有一种或多种污染物，其存在的量、性质及时间会伤害到人类、动物及植 物的生命，损害财物，或干扰舒适的生活环境，如臭味的存在。只要是其存在的量、性质及时间足够对人类或其他生物、财物产生影响，我们称其为空气污染物，而其存在造成之现象，就是空气污染。

以前，人类都是靠人力或动物的力量来完成事情，由于现代科技愈来愈发达，人类的活动范围、活动种类也就 跟着扩大与改变，因此污染问题也就愈来愈严重，最严重的污染有三类，其中一类就是空气污染，空气污染形成的原因：工业污染，交通运输的污染，日常生活中的 污染，这些都是空气污染形成的原因；即使天气晴朗时，我们周围的大气也并非如表面所见的明净。空气里充满了看不见的固体、气体和液体等不同型态的物质。但 是最后所带来的影响也就变的很多，像是人体健康、植物、金属，建筑以及艺术宝藏等接受到影响，在我们生活的环境中，空气污染是个非常严重的问题，在无影、 无声、无息中，逐渐侵入你的肺部和身体上的各个组织，所以空气污染所带来的的影响是相当可怕的。而对气候的影响也相当的严重，因为大气中的二流氧化物、氮 氧化物造成的“酸雨”现象，二氧化碳造成大气层散热量减少，使地球表面温度上升，形成“温室效应”等，均是对气候产生的影响。

最近，人类开始发觉要好好保护大自然，免得又要受到大自然的反扑，于是开始执行防止空气污染的方法，汽车的排气孔定期检查以及选择有装触媒转换器的车辆、将工厂排 除来的废气净化或者用其他方式、排气通风使大气能够稀释人们所产生的空气污染、多种绿色植物，这些方法都可以使空气污染减少，而且带来的影响也就会跟着减 少，简直是一举数得。

空气污染的问题不能忽视，如果在这样继续下去，恐怕我们的地球以后就不行住人了，冰河逐渐融化导致海平面升起、臭氧 层逐渐消失导致人类生理受损、气候的变化导致农作物减少收成等，这些都是对人类生存有严重的威胁性，我们只有一个地球，我们一定要好好保护它，才能恢复以前美好的环境

我们一直提倡要保护环境，可嘴上说简单，又有哪些人在实际行动中做到了呢？地上不还是到处都是垃圾吗？雾霾不还是存在吗？树木不还是被大肆砍伐吗？保护环境可没有想象中的这么容易。 盛夏的阳光真像蘸了辣椒水，坦荡荡的街上没有一块阴凉地。走在路上，迎面的风似热浪扑来。

夏日炎炎，小鸟不知躲藏到什么地方去了；草木都低垂着头；小狗热得吐出舌头不停地喘气。在这样骄阳似火的天气里，可怜的我还抱着个又大又圆的西瓜，累得口干舌燥，恨不得瘫倒在地上，喝上一大桶水。我拿出一张餐巾纸擦擦大汗淋漓的脸，正想往地上一扔走人，忽然想起老师的教诲：保护环境，人人有责。现在因为人类不爱护环境，造成水土流失，破坏自然和生态环境，还减少了氧气，让二氧化碳极度增加！我打消了那个念头，咬咬牙，把餐巾纸捏在手里，重新挺起绿色“大肚子”。

刚开始还能忍受，没过多久，就受不了了。尽管只是张小小的餐巾纸，但太阳光线灼人，小路烤得发烫，脚踏下去一步一串白烟，手里的餐巾纸都热出水了，更别提手，那叫一个难受啊！

不仅如此，西瓜重达12斤，餐巾纸握在手里也不方便拎啊。我迫切地想要扔掉餐巾纸，但理智战胜了冲动。小玮，保护环境是每个人民的职责，你可不能这么轻易就放弃啊！坚持就是胜利，加油！我暗暗为自己鼓劲。我艰难地挪动着，汗水顺着脸颊流淌。一路上我四处张望，希望发现一个垃圾桶，可惜，连垃圾桶的影子都没看见。真是的，这路上好歹也得装个垃圾桶啊，不然人家在外怎么扔垃圾呢！我愤愤地想。没办法，只能靠自己了。就这样，我凭着坚强的毅力，挪回了家。 一回家，我扔了餐巾纸就倒在地上，吹着凉爽的空调，连水都没力气喝了。虽然又热又累又渴，差点中暑，但我心里还是很开心的，因为那张餐巾纸，体现了我保护环境的精神。我终于当了一次“地球环保小卫士”！

How to protect theenvironment has become one of the biggest problems in the world .

It’s our duty toprotect our environment .No matter where we live ,we should do something tokeep our neighborhood clean and tidy .We can collect waste paper or otherwaste things for recycling.We should plant more trees and we should preventthose factories from pouring waste water into rivers,lakes and fields.We shouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere andspit in public places .We mustn’t pick the flowers or step on the grass inpublic.If everyone tries his best to protect the environment ,the world willbecome much more beautiful and our life will be better and better .

春天来了，天气暖洋洋的，两只小燕子从南方飞回来了。飞着飞着，突然一阵烟雾飘来，弄得小燕子给黑煤球似的，小燕子屏住呼吸，终于飞出来了。它想去小河边洗个澡，但是一到那，就失望了，小河以前是干干净净的，不过现在变得污浊不堪，臭气熏天。小燕子伤心地哭了起来。

一条小鱼关切地问：“燕子姐姐，你怎么泪流满面呀？”燕子擦干眼泪说：“去年这里还空气清新，小河清澈明亮。现在却变成了垃圾场，这是怎么回事？”小鱼叹了口气，说：“小河旁边建了几座工厂，人类乱排放污气、污水，所以就变成这样了。”

“原来是这样呀，那你们肯定受了很多苦吧？”燕子担心地问。“是呀，人类为了方便，把垃圾随便扔到河里，有时候砸到我们，弄得我们青一块，紫一块，害得我的兄弟姐妹都死了。”小鱼伤心地说。

听完他们的对话，我鼻子酸酸的。抬头望着这灰蒙蒙的天空，远处几个大烟筒高高耸立着，时不时的往外冒着黑色东西。小树在风中摇摆着身体，好像在向我诉说着这里的一切。我低头看到了路边的垃圾，顺手捡起来，扔到了垃圾筒里。

我虽然现在是名小学生，但我明白：我们应该保护环境、爱护环境。让我们从小做起，从现在做起。

In fact, environmental pollution is a very serious problem the whole world is facing.

it is mainly caused by the waste products released from artificial substances, industrial

production and increased consumption of goods. Bedsides, the use of chemical substances

in agriculture also causes environmental pollution.Look at the sky, you can see that dense smoke is being released from the high and big chimneys; those dirty and poisonous substances are flowing into the rivers that we use for drinking water and millions of tons of waste products are heaping around us.
