Dragon Boat Festival， often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival， is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past，people could not often have meat，rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings，we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

Strong Will

Since I go to high school, I live in the school and stay away from my

parents.

I have three roommates. At the beginning, we have trouble in staying in the

same room, but now we have got used to it. One of my roommates impresses me so

much. Since she came to our room, she has kept the habit of reading novels when

we go to bed. She told me that when she lived with her parents, she dared not to

read because her mother would blame her for sleeping late. Now she is very happy

that she is out of control, it seems that she is free. But I feel sorry for her,

because she is short-sighted now. What’s more, she is lagging behind other

students in the study. Staying away from her parents, she is not strong enough

to behave herself.

We should have the strong will and behave ourselves.

坚强的意志

自从我上了高中，我就住在学校，远离父母。

We all have dreams, and we all work hard to realize them. But there will

always be some problems and setbacks to stop the pace of advance. When they

We all know that Mrs. Curie discovered radium, but how many people really know

how hard she worked? At that time, there were many people disapprove of Mrs.

Curie. Although she got over hundreds of difficulties, she still believed in

herself and never gave up. Finally, she succeeded to discover radium. She proved

that she was right by her continuous hard work and her strong spirit. We should

learn from Mrs. Curie. She told us the truth through her own experiences that

believe in yourself, you can do it! Never give up, face the difficulties with a

The key to success is confidence. It makes you brave, helps you get over

the troubles, and brings motivation to you. For example, somebody always get

nervous when they have an important speech, if they are in a nervous mood, the

results are always terrible. But if they are confident to themselves, the

results turn out to be better. Therefore, be confident, believe in yourself,

keep smile in your face when comes to difficulties, and you will achieve

more.

The history of the New Years day

hinese new year is a chinese traditional festival.we also call it the spring festival.it is on lunar january 1st.

on new year’s eve,all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner.there are some vegetable s,some fish,some meat,some fruits and some drink like juice,coke,pepsi and some nice wine.overall,this is a good and delicious dinner.after dinner,we always watch tv new year progammes.we have a wonderful evening on new year’s eve.

on the first day of the spring festival,most of people get up early and say “happy new year”to each other.for breakfast,people often eat dumplings and baozi.after breakfast,people often make many delicious foods,and children often play cards,computer games and fireworks.on the second and third day,we visit friends and relatives.

Everyone is busy on chinese new year,and everyone is happy,too.
