Since we went to school, we have been educated to be polite, no matter to

the young or old people. People follow the manner rules and have a nice

communication between each other, but some people ignore the rules and they

Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.

Oceans becoming more acidicThe worlds oceans are slowly getting more acidic, say scientists.The researchers from California say the change is taking place in response to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.The lowering of the waters pH value is not great at the moment but could pose a serious threat to current marine life if it continues, they warn.Ken Caldeira and Michael Wickett, from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, report their concerns in the journal Nature.Increasing use of fossil fuels means more carbon dioxide is going into the air, and most of it will eventually be absorbed by seawater.

半小时后，我们上了火车。在火车上，我们有很多的乐趣。26个小时后，我们到达了四川。在那里，我们拍了许多照片，还不错。5天之后，我们回到了北京。即使我的旅行似乎很短，但我的愉快的记忆将持续很久。

人总有许许多多的第一次：第一次得表扬、第一次受批评，第一次坐飞机……第一次常常是一种挑战。但我印象最深刻的还是第一次煮方便面。

那一天早晨，奶奶和姑妈要一同去看望姑姑和小表弟。她们临去前交代，可能会晚一些回家煮饭，要我在家好好待着。于是，我就独自一人在家里津津有味地看着电视。看着看着，就不知不觉地过了两个小时。临近正午时，我的肚子唱起了“空城计”。这时我想：既然奶奶和姑妈不在家，那我就来大显身手一番吧。过去我都是“饭来张口”，总是奶奶煮好了一日三餐“请”我。我有好几次想亲力亲为一下，都被奶奶拒绝了，我只能站在一旁偷师。这下可是“踏破铁鞋无觅处，得来全不费功夫”，机不可失呀！于是我二话不说，冲到食柜前拿了一包方便面，立刻开始构思我的第一次。

我一边回忆奶奶的做法，一边做前期准备。待一切材料备好，我的煮面工作就开始了。生火一分钟之后，该是放调料的时候了，我小心翼翼地揭开锅盖，“别出心裁”地往锅里放胡椒粉、五香粉、鸡精、麻油……我一边放料一边沾沾自喜：马上就要尝到凌小姐的美味佳肴了！

调料放完了，我又担心有什么差错，便拿着筷子小心地在锅里搅拌了几下，把面和各种调料搅匀于“汤”中，再小心翼翼地嗅了一下：唔，好香！自我感觉良好之后，我把锅盖盖回锅上，耐心地等待着面“煎熬”。

四分钟过去了，我想应该“煎熬”完了吧？我又小心翼翼地揭开锅盖，──哗！马上有一股香味扑鼻而来！“第一次完美成功！”我乐不可支，心里美滋滋的，真想跳个舞！我马上尝了一口：哇！真是色香味俱全！比奶奶做的还要香呀！不是说自己摘的瓜甜吗？自己的劳动成果，当然比别人“侍候”的更有滋味！

我一边吃一边情不自禁地想：啊，原来煮面是这样简单，我还以为有多难呢。看来，我今后还是要勇敢地尝试其他项目才行，比如煮饭呀，炒菜呀，补衣服呀，等等等等。我可不想成为一个被家人“圈养”起来的“猪人”，我要做个自己动手的全能冠军！

Last May 4th was my birthday.I had a party at my home.

My relatives and friends came to my home in the evening.And I got a lot of presents from them.My mother prepared a big birthday cake for me.

There are even candles on it.After singing the song “Happy birthday”，I shared the cake with my friend and relatives.Then we watched TV and listened to music.Same of the girls danced with the music.We had a good time that day.

Now I want to say “Thank you my friends.Thank you my parents！I ’m so happy！”

In this winter holiday, I am the most happy thing is the fifteenth day of the yuanxiao. One day, our family after dinner early and ready for years. 跳完火堆，我们随着人流走向大街，一路看花炮，一路放花炮。来到一处比较空旷的地方，我迫不及待地拿出许愿灯，小心翼翼地打开，先把它吹鼓，然后让爸爸、妈妈帮着提住上面，我动作麻利地系好固体燃料，拿着打火机点了起来，不一会儿燃料慢慢地燃着了。妈妈说：“先别急，等一会儿再放。”我们轻轻地扶着许愿灯等了一会儿，许愿灯开始慢慢上升，我们不约而同地丢开许愿灯，合起双手许下了自己的心愿。

望着慢慢上升的许愿灯，渐渐地离我们远去，闪闪烁烁的光芒好像天空中的小星星，对着我们眨眼睛，好像在说：我一定会实现你们的愿望!

Itis obvious that self-confidence means trust in one’s ability. If we are full ofself-confidence, we’ll have creative power to live and work, helping us successor dreams come true. A arrived in Beidaihe at about 2 oclock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldnt see the other side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water was such a great joy that I didnt want to stop.Then I collected shells.When it got dark,I sat on the shore,watching the sea.The night scene was simply marvelous!

Finally I had to go back.It was an unforgettable day in my life.
