一.名词

写作中，学生们常把握不好名词的数、所有格以及一些集合名词的用法。

1.Hegavemeaverygoodadviceyesterday.

句中的a要去掉，因为advice是不可数名词。一些汉语概念为可数的词在英语中却是不可数的，表示数量时在要其前加apieceof，类似的词有：news,bread,work,paper,chalk,furniture,information等等。

2.Thatgirllovesreadingbook.

可数名词单数不能孤零零地放在句子里，或前面加冠词，或将其变为复数。此处最好变为books.

3.Hewentintoabooksshopandboughtadictionary.

一般表示有生命的东西的名词的所有格用’s，如mymother’scar,而此处适宜用名词修饰名词，改为abookshop.

4.MyfamilyiswatchingTV.

一些集合名词如看成一个整体，则用单数的谓语动词，如Myfamilyisahappyone.如果强调集合中每个个体的个人行为，则用复数的谓语动词。此处看电视是个体行为，应把is改为are。类似的词有：team,class,audience等。

5.Iboughtsomepotatosandtomatosatthesupermarket.

中学阶段，以“o”结尾的名词中有四个词变复数时要加es，它们是tomato,potato,Negro,hero;其余的都加s变为复数。

6.Thishasnothingtodowiththeirbelieves.（这和他们的信仰没关系。）

以f,fe结尾的词变为复数时一般去f,fe加ves，如knife—knives,

thief—thieves;而roof和belief直接加s变为复数。所以应把believes改为beliefs.

二.冠词

7.Thebosswantstohireanusefulperson.

用a还是an，取决于后面单词音标中的第一个音，如为元音用an，为辅音用a。useful的第一个音是辅音所以应把an改为a。类似的，我们说aEuropeancountry.

8.Planeisamachinethatcanfly.

plane为可数名词单数，不能单独放在句中，应在其前加冠词或把它变为复数，而本句后有amachine,因此只能在其前面加a，变为Aplane。

9.Heplayedapianoatthepartyyesterday.

把a改为the，因为乐器前用定冠词。

10.Themachinewasinventedin1920s.

在in后加the，因为表示年代用in加the再加几十的复数，如在八十年代inthe80s。

去掉the，因为表示交通方式用by直接加交通工具。

三.代词

使用代词时请注意其单、复数，主、宾格以及形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词的用法。

定语从句的先行词是thosespeakers，为复数，因此从句中的指示代词应为复数，应把his改为their。

13.Whomdoyouthinkhasleftthelightson?

放在疑问句特殊疑问词后的doyouthink/believe/guess/imagine/suppose等都不参与句子成分。本句中去掉doyouthink后缺的是主语，应把Whom改为Who。

14.ThebosspretendednottoseeJohnandI.

John和I在句中都做的宾语，应把I改为me。

15.Thesebooksaremine；thoseinthebagareher.

her是形容词性物主代词，后面应该加名词books，或把her改为hers。

四.数词

16.Therearefourteenhundredsstudentsinourschool.

hundred/thousand/million/score/dozen等词前有具体数字时后不加s，前面没有具体数字时在其后加s和of，表示大约几百几千的概念。如two

hundredstudents（两百个学生），hundredsofstudents（成百上千个学生）。例句中应把hundreds改为hundred。

17.Theirschoolistwiceaslargerasourschool.

表倍数关系的as...as中间只能用形容词或副词的原级。因此应把larger改为large.

18.Today’shomeworkisafive-hundred-wordscomposition.

几个单词由连字符连接而组成的复合形容词中的名词只能用单数，所以把five-hundred-words改为five-hundred-word.

19.TwothirdofthestudentsinourschoolarefromAmerica.

英语表达中分数的分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于一时分母后要加s，所以就把third改为thirds.

五.形容词和副词

形容词和副词容易被误用，形容词和副词的比较级和最高级也是应注意的重点。

20.Thepatientappearednervouslywhenhetalkedtothedoctor.

appear在此是个系动词，其后应接形容词作表语。所以应把nervously改为nervous.

21.Theartistworkedhardlytofinishhisdrawingsontime.

此句需要一个副词来修饰，hardly是副词，但意为“几乎不”，hard也可以是副词，表努力，因此把hardly改为hard.

22.Thisshirtismorecheaperthanthatone.

more只构成比较级，而不能修饰比较级。因此把more去掉。

两者相比较时，比较级前用定冠词，三者或三者以上才用most，因此把most改为more.

表不如?...时用less加上形容词和副词的原级，因此把harder改为hard.

fairly只能修饰形容词和副词的原级，可以修饰比较级的副词或短语有：much,even,still,far,alot,alittle,abit,any,no,byfar,rather等，因此把fairly改为rather.

as?as中间的词序是as加上形容词加上a(n)加上名词再加上as，因此应改为asinterestingastoryastheone.

同样的事物才能相比较，weather和不具有可比性，因此应改为Theweatherhereisnicerthanthatof.

这个词组为wouldratherdo?thando?，因此把went改为go.

修饰anything,something,everything,nothing的形容词都要放在它们的后面。

像never之类的副词在句中应放在be动词、助动词之后，实意动词之前。因为应改为Ihaveneverseensuchapersonbefore.

beworthdoing意为值得被做。因此改为Thebookisworthreading.

sure的主语只能为人，而certain的主语可为人和物。因此把sure改为certain.

alive为表语形容词，偶尔也做后置定语。因此把alive改为living，或把alive放在writers后面。

星期一早晨，刚做完早操，我便想到教室看小说。忽然我听见后面有人在叫我小名，我回头一看，原来是妈妈。她那紫黑的脸上隐约还泠着汗珠，可能是早上赶路的缘故，她头上还有露珠，裤脚满是草籽和泥水。妈妈这么早来找我，不知有什么重要的急事。

妈妈看我走了过来，理了理被风吹乱的头发，略带焦急地对我说：“昨天下午，你落下一本书在家里。”说着，她从腋下的包里拿出一本书——《射雕英雄传》，接着说：“我看你经常在家里看这本厚书，它一定很重要吧！本想昨晚就给你送来，可路又太远。没耽误你吧？”

此时，我的心猛烈地震了一下，面对妈妈那古铜色的脸，我能说些什么呢？只是机械地点了点头。这时，妈妈如释重负地舒了一口气，她一定是为自己的儿子做了一件重要的事而感到高兴。“妈……”不知怎么，话被咽了下去。

“没什么事你就去读书吧，我走了。”说话的语气显然比刚才轻松多了。

我木然地站着，头埋得低低的。许久，抬起已模糊的双眼，望着妈妈远去的身影。泪，不住地滚下来，手上那本可恶的书不知何时已滑落到地上……

Today was Sunday, I was so happy because our family had a big meeting, we went to the park to have the barbecue. We called our relatives to join us, it was such a great party. As the family members haven’t got together for a long time, so my father decided to get everybody united. In the park, I played with my cousins, we were taking a visit of the park while the parents were doing the barbecue.

When my counsins and I played so tiredly, we went to join the grow-ups’ activities.

The fathers were talking about the business stuff, while the mothers were talking about the children and their daily life. Our family was so harmonious, we shared the things together and helped each other. I like this activity so much, I wish my families can have more time to be together.

今天是星期天，我很开心，因为我们的家庭有一个大聚会，我们去公园烧烤。我们叫上了亲戚来加入，这是多么盛大的派对啊。由于家庭成员间很久没有在一起了，因此父亲决定把大家团聚在一起。在公园里，我和表亲们在玩，我们在参观公园，而家长们则在烧烤。在表亲们和我玩累了，我们就加入大人们的活动。父亲们在谈论生意上的事情，然而母亲们在谈论孩子和日常生活。我们的家庭是那么的和谐，一起分享东西和彼此帮助。我很喜欢这样的活动，我希望我的家人们能有的时间相聚。

[高中英语作文：家庭烧烤

In this winter holiday, I am the most happy thing is the fifteenth day of the yuanxiao. One day, our family after dinner early and ready for years. Just after six o clock, my brother and sister is lit torches, already prepared in every house turned a circle to send down the stairs, the family behind to the yard. Neighbors are the torches sent out of the hall, everybody together joyfully jumped up the fire in the yard. Jump over the fire, we as people towards the street, watch fireworks, all the way all the way to put firecrackers. Came to a more open place, I cant wait to get out what you wish for the lamp, open, carefully drums blowing it first and then let mom and dad help to mention above, I quickly fasten a solid fuel, with a lighter lit up, not the fuel burning slowly in a minute. Mother said: "dont worry, wait a moment again." 在这个寒假里，令我最快乐的事是正月十五闹元宵。这天，我们全家人早早吃完晚饭，准备送年。六点刚过，哥哥、姐姐就点燃早已准备好的火把，在每个屋子里转了一圈送下了楼，一家人紧跟在后面来到院子里。左邻右舍也都陆陆续续把火把送了出来，大家一起在院子里欢快地跳起了火堆。四面渐渐传来此起彼伏的爆竹声，天空中不时闪烁着五彩缤纷的礼花。

跳完火堆，我们随着人流走向大街，一路看花炮，一路放花炮。来到一处比较空旷的地方，我迫不及待地拿出许愿灯，小心翼翼地打开，先把它吹鼓，然后让爸爸、妈妈帮着提住上面，我动作麻利地系好固体燃料，拿着打火机点了起来，不一会儿燃料慢慢地燃着了。妈妈说：“先别急，等一会儿再放。”我们轻轻地扶着许愿灯等了一会儿，许愿灯开始慢慢上升，我们不约而同地丢开许愿灯，合起双手许下了自己的心愿。

望着慢慢上升的许愿灯，渐渐地离我们远去，闪闪烁烁的光芒好像天空中的小星星，对着我们眨眼睛，好像在说：我一定会实现你们的愿望!

Time flies like an arrow, the sun is like a boat, in the winter holiday is coming. Have just walked out of the busy nervous final exam. To meet is relaxed and free winter vacation.

Although the winter holiday is very short, but we cant play because of the winter vacation short and follow ones inclinations, should be playing at the same time not forget to study combining exertion and rest.

Gorky once said that "books are the ladder of human progress" in peacetime because learning busy and have no spare time to read reference books. Winter holiday is coming now, we just can use the time to read reference books.

"Has its own gold room in the book, the book has its own treasure to", so I decided to use this holiday season more than look at the name of the ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign. Not only that I also want to consolidate the knowledge of this semester, prepare the knowledge of the next semester. I hope next semester moved on. Learning to lay a foundation for the next semester.

In the spare time to complete the teacher and parents the assignment, look at news concerned state affairs. In the time of the Spring Festival is not only to watch the Spring Festival gala, will eat dinner, visiting friends and relatives.

This is my winter holiday life, my winter vacation I make decision.

光阴似箭，日月如梭，转眼之间寒假来临了。刚刚从忙碌紧张的期末考走出来。迎接的是轻松自由的寒假。

虽然寒假非常的短暂，但是我们不能因为寒假的短暂而随心所欲的玩，应该劳逸结合在玩的同时不能忘记学习。

高尔基曾经说过“书籍是人类进步的阶梯”在平时因为学习的忙碌而没有多余的时间看课外书。现在寒假已经来临，我们刚好可以利用这个时间看课外书。

“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉”所以我决定利用这个假期多看看古今中外的名着。不但如此我还要巩固这个学期的知识点，预习下个学期的知识。希望下学期百尺竿头更进一步。为下一学期的学习打下基础。

在空余的时间完成老师和家长布置的作业，多看看新闻关心关心国家大事。在春节的时间不仅要观看春节联欢晚会，还要吃年夜饭，拜访亲友。

过完春节要将自己散漫的心收一收了，要开始把自己的心放在学习上，不能继续玩了。要把老师和学校布置的作业检查检查是否已经完成了。再把下一学期学习需要的资料和练习题都要准备好。

这就是我的寒假生活，我的寒假我做主。
