My name is Li Hua. I am from a workers family. There are six people in my family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother, my sister and I.

Every member in my family works for his or her own trade①. My grandfather and grandmother are peasants. They do farm work every day in my hometown. My father is a senior engineer. He is now working in Africa, helping to build a power station. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school. My sister, five years older than I, is a doctor in the Peoples Hospital of our county. She loves her work and does it well. I am a middle school student. And I am going to take this years college entrance examination. I wish that I could be enrolled② by a famous university.

That is my family. All the members in my family live in harmony③. We love each other devotedly.

My grandparents live in countryside. They have six rooms. The room is big. There are two apple in the ground. They have sixteen goats and three cows. The goat is white. The cow is yellow. They are healthy.

My parents and me live in city. My father is a worker. His work is hard. My mother is a high schools Chinese teacher, She take bicycle go to work at sevenclock. In the afternoon, she doesnt go home. In the evening, she make supper. The food is delicious. I am a student. I have Chinese, math and English everyday. That is boring. I have many friends. After class, I play with my friends.

We are tried, but we are very happy. I love my family.

学校举办了《永远的丰碑》演讲比赛，由我们班打头。我们一边练习演讲，一边盼望着比赛快点到来。今天早上，我们几个人就要上台演讲了，我心里却非常紧张，像打鼓一样。同班的好朋友钟雪霞告诉我：“不要紧张，要对自己充满信心，这样才能取得优秀成绩。”听了钟雪霞讲的话，我心里平静多了。

到了比赛的时间，我鼓起勇气，大胆地走上台去，演讲的内容是《丰碑》，我都背得滚瓜烂熟了。看到台下黑压压的一片人头，我的心跳又加快了，像要跳出来似的。我想起了钟雪霞告诉我的话——“不要紧张”，紧张的心又平静了下来，我勇敢地看着大家，有感情地朗读完了整篇稿子，没有打绊子，说到军需处长被冻僵时，我心里很难受，有点想掉眼泪，我很敬佩他，我忘了自己是在比赛。

在大家暴风雨一样的掌声中，我回到了班上，心仍然在剧烈地跳着，我用手按着它，怕它会跳出来，因为我太激动了。我很感谢钟雪霞对我的鼓励，是她教我做什么事都要对自己充满信心。有了那一次演讲比赛的经历，现在无论遇到什么比赛，我都不会紧张了，因为我对自己充满了信心!

Time flies so fast . I will to be a middle school student . In my class , I have a good teacher . Her name is Zhu Xihui.

She is my math teacher . She is good at math . Many math teachers ask her quastion .One day , Iwent to her office asked her quastion . She explained it for me . The Dragon Boat Festival， also called Double Fifth Festival， is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals，the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.

The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man，but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.

端午节，又称为五五节，因为端午节是在农历的五月五日，是三个重要的中国节庆之一，其他两个分别是中秋节和农历新年。

这个节日的由来是古代中国有一位博学多闻的官吏屈原，他是一位爱民而且又受到尊崇的官吏，但是由於一位充满嫉妒的官吏陷害，从此在朝廷中被皇帝所冷落。由於无法获得皇帝的重视，屈原在忧郁的情况下投汨罗江自尽。

由於对屈原的爱戴，汨罗江畔的居民匆忙的划船在江内寻找屈原，并且将米丢入汨罗江中，以平息汨罗江中的蛟龙。即使他们当时并没有找到屈原，但是他们的行为，直到今天在端午节的时候，仍然被人们传颂纪念著。
