Currently, some cities are considering a food ban on subways, which has sparked heated discussion. Some people say food should be banned because of the trash and rats they attract. And, garbage from discarded food can cause track fires. Beyond sanitary and mechanical concerns, food can also cause fights, as was discovered last week by one passenger who criticized a woman eating steamed stuffed bun on the subway.

However, some others are opposed to the idea. They argue that people like eating in the train in the morning because they dont have enough time to eat at their houses or restaurants. Sometimes that may be the only time or meal a transit rider may be able to eat especially when traveling long distances. Besides, there are people, for example diabetics, who do require food at various times to maintain blood-sugar levels.

Personally, Im against the ban because of the huge inconvenience it would cause to commuters, and the expense involved in enforcing it. Still, I believe we should have a little common courtesy. I think we all have responsibility to try to treat our subway system and fellow riders with respect, and that extends to food as well.

As the saying goes, "the state-owned national law, the home has rules", "no rules, no fangyuan." We have this home some unwritten rules.

我的学校每年都会举办一届运动会。今年轮到我们这一届已经是第十二届了。我很激动也很紧张。我很开心可以参赛与同学们快乐的奔跑。可是我还是很担心拿不到名次。于是我努力的准备着。

比赛很快就到了。刚开始我就很紧张，一直到了接力赛开始。接力赛一直是全校最瞩目的比赛，体现了班级的成绩代表着班级的荣誉。我是最后一棒。面对大家的鼓励我一定不能放弃。前面我们与其他班不分上下。也就是说我这一棒是决定胜负的一棒。我努力的向终点线冲去。这两百米对于我来说，对于班级来说都是很重要的。我必须跑完。结束这运动会的最后。

我成功了。我开心的笑着，与大家一起拿起奖状。

Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

Our school sports activities are rich and colorful, students can according to their own interest and hobby.

Look! Side of the students in playing table tennis, play is really fierce. If you were a little to disturb him, he will definitely not ignore you, if he lose the best chance to beat the opponent, he would have called you. Their meets table tennis table tennis racquet "lit up" sound, like playing music. 瞧!这边的同学在打乒乓球呢，打得真激烈。你要是稍微打扰他一下，他绝对会不会理睬你，如果他失去打败对手的机会，他准会骂你。他们的乒乓拍碰到乒乓的时候发出“蹦蹦蹦”响声，像奏乐似的。对手一直把握机会，看，机会终于来了，对手反扣一板，动作实在太帅了，这一板突出了他的个性。

现在流行打蓝球了。同学们一下课就争分夺秒的去打篮球，特别是比赛最有趣，既能锻炼身体，又能培养团队合作精神，他对人们大有好处。那些校队经过集中训练，有着非同一般的球技，看见这一幕我真是对他们羡慕不已。长大后我也要当一名球员。

上体育课的时候老师命令我们做一分钟的仰卧起坐并做好记录，结果我们班的黄旭同学，打破了小学四年级的最高记录：51个仰卧起坐。他曾经在田际运动会中，经过艰辛的努力创造了奇迹，获得了第一名的好成绩。

运动能增强人的体质，正如名人所说：“生命在于运动，知识在于积累。
