人们喜欢把青年人比作清晨的太阳，因为他们的蓬勃朝气如太阳般揭示着生命的希望。而我们青年人则喜欢把自己比作星夜的火把，因为我们的热忱具有撕破黑暗，凝聚希望的力量。76年前，正是如星夜火把般的热血青年，为打破百年来华夏的黑暗与沉寂，为争取国家的独立和民族的富强而涌上街头，用他们的智慧和鲜血怒吼抗争!

让我们回到那个写满屈辱、历尽磨难的年代。1931年“九一八”事变以后，日本帝国主义控制了包括东三省、内蒙在内的关外地区，千百万东北民众挣扎于水深火热之中。东北大学学生也难逃次劫，走上了抗日流亡的道路。1934年开始，日寇又将魔掌伸向了华北地区，企图将华北纳入伪满版图，进而吞并整个中国。然而，腐朽的国民党统治者居然寄希望于日本帝国主义的呵护与怜悯，在民族存亡系于一发的时刻发动“反共华北自治运动”，眼睁睁的任凭侵略者霸占我们的大好河山!

国难当头，作为时代先锋的中国青年决不会坐以待毙。忧患国难的北平学生悲愤地喊出：“华北之大，已安放不下一张平静的书桌了!” 在中国共产党的领导下，1935年12月9日，一二九运动爆发了，大、中学校学生6000余人涌上北平街头，齐聚新华门前请愿。东北大学学生奋起参加，成为运动的主力和先锋。“停止内战，一致对外”、“反对华北自治”、“打倒日本帝国主义”的口号响彻云霄，游行的青年们顶着凛冽的寒风，打破了沉寂已久的北平天空。面对前来镇压的军警，我们的青年们没有丝毫的退缩，他们用血肉之躯内争民生，外争国权!12月16日，东北大学又参加了全市大游行并作为领队学校。12月31日，张学良校长派代表——军法处处长、原东北大学法律系教授赵翰九——携款1000元到北平慰问参加“一二?九”运动的学生。1936年1月底，宋黎作为东北大学学生代表去西安向张学良校长汇报东北大学学生运动情况。1936年2月下旬，东北大学43名学生被国民党北平当局逮捕，关进监狱。张学良校长在西安闻讯后，即派宋黎以其秘书的身份带着他的亲笔信，去北平营救被捕学生。经过多方营救，北平当局被迫将柳文等被捕学生无罪释放。“沈阳设校，经始维艰;至九一八，惨遭摧残，流离燕市，转徙长安，勖尔多士，复我河山!”张学良校长的这几句题词不仅刻在学校的基石上，更刻在东大师生的心底。1936年“一二九”运动一周年那天，东大学生冒着“格杀勿论”的危险，参加了西安青年学生大游行并走在游行队伍的最前面。千难万险，青年们在抗日救国精神的感召下联合了广大的工人和农民，与日本帝国主义和国民党反动派进行着不屈的斗争;万语千言，青年们在生与死的考验下岿然不动，用理想和生命谱写了全面抗战的壮丽诗篇!

历史将会铭记，人民将会铭记，祖国将会铭记!“一二九”运动带给国人的绝不仅仅是一次青年运动，它宣传了我党抗日救亡的革命主张，促进了中华民族的觉醒，拉开了中国人民抵抗日本侵略者的伟大序幕，铸就了一座永不磨灭的抗战丰碑!

76年后的今天，当我们置身于东北大学的“一二九”花园，面对花园内那栩栩如生的群雕肃然起敬时，仿佛我们又回到了那个风雨飘摇的岁月，看到了那些奔走呼号的爱国学生。汉卿会堂的校使馆里记载了的爱国主义精神已在我们的骨髓中沉淀。此刻，我想起了鲁迅先生写的《纪念刘和珍君》，一二九运动中，有多少像刘和珍君一样的青年学生，为了祖国的独立和民族的富强，死于敌人的刺刀之下!真的猛士，敢于直面惨淡的人生，敢于正视淋漓的鲜血!

生于二十世纪八十年代的我们离那段历史本不遥远，作为新世纪青年的我们更不应将它忘记。国家兴亡，青年有责，“一二九”运动及其代表的革命抗争精神必将被中国的有志青年传至千秋万代,永葆光辉!
