My Summer Trip

I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing, Dalian and HuHehot.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. Its a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. Its a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Dont mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.

Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I rode a horse on the graland. I picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.

Last winter holiday, I went to Harbin with my mother. It‘s very cold in winter. There is snow and ice everywhere and you are always in a white world. You must wear warm clothes. The most exciting thing is playing with snow. Skating is also very interesting there. I will always remember Harbin, for the snow, the ice and all the beautiful things. I love Harbin.

Guangzhou also called Yangcheng. Guangzhou is a beautiful city in China, but it’s very noisy . The population of Guangzhou is about seven million two hundred thousand .

Guangzhou is a good place to visit. Due to the wide use of computers and the development of Internet, more and more people like to chat on the Internet. We tend to pay more attention to electronic communication than to face-to-face contact.

As electronic communication is not limited by space, we can chat with others where there is Internet with our tools such as computers, mobile phones and pads. On July 23rd my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at YuTingqiao hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.

We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I heard Lijiang is a very beautiful city when I was young. I travel there in a holidy with my parents.I went there plane. I saw there were many moutain when I got out the plane.
