每当我看见我家院子里的小蚂蚁在洞口出来进去时，就想这样一个问题：蚂蚁的洞里很黑，它们是怎么找到进去出来的路呢？

周日，我活捉了几只蚂蚁用胶水粘在纸上，用放大镜观察蚂蚁，发现他们头顶上长着一对触角。我想的问题会不会和这个有关呢？我做了下面这样一个试验。

我将一些糖放在纸上，将一些面包屑洒在离纸不远的地上，把三只蚂蚁中的两只剪去触角，并把它们都放在纸上。不一会儿，那只有触角的蚂蚁站起来晃晃触角，径直向糖走去。而那两只没有触角的蚂蚁却像没头苍蝇一样，瞎转了几十圈，对糖好像无动于衷。我用手将他们放在糖上时，他们却贪婪的吃了起来。经过以上试验可以证明：蚂蚁的触角充当鼻子、眼睛的作用。

还听说蚂蚁可以把比自己体重多几十倍的东西抬起来，我又做了个实验。

我拿了几块饼干，跑下楼。我找到一个蚂蚁洞，发现有许多小蚂蚁来来往往忙个不停。原来蚂蚁在抬一只死蜻蜓。只见这些蚂蚁有的咬住蜻蜓的头，有的咬住蜻蜓的尾巴，都是狠狠地一口咬住，拉的拉，推的推，使尽全身力气，这个‘庞然大物’竟然被拉动了，我吓了一大跳，这么小的蚂蚁竟然能抬这么重的东西。我赶紧把带来的饼干分成三份，放在了蜻蜓的旁边，只见其它的蚂蚁一哄而上，把饼干咬成比蚂蚁洞还小的块，三三两两抬着一块，向洞口移动。我终于相信了：黑而瘦小的蚂蚁真有这么大的力气。还让我明白了一个道理：团结就是力量。蚂蚁是一个团结的集体。
