winters in taipei are very cold during the evening and very windy during the daytime. i usually look forward to the lunar new years day and the winter vacation when i can go to the village where the climate is warmer during these holidays. also, i look forward to seeing my grandmother, great-grandmother, and my friends in the village; i like my grandmothers food very much. winter is the time everyone is in a festive mood. in the city, i usually do a lot of reading at home in the winter because of the cold weather outside.

No one can deny the fact that today the environment is polluted seriously. Though the government has taken some policies to protect the environment, still some businessmen chase the profit by taking the cost of damaging the nature. Many animals are dying out as they lose their homes. Such as the national treasure, panda. The government has put a lot of money to protect them from dying out, and the new born panda babies will be looked after by experts and then release to the nature, in the hope that they won’t disappear in the nature. But the result is not always good, because when they return to the nature, the environment can’t provide enough things for them to live. If the nature loses its balance and there is no way for human beings living with nature harmoniously, then we also will disappear some day.

没有人能否认现在环境污染严重这个事实。尽管政府采取了一些保护环境的政策，仍然有一些商人以破坏自然环境为代价去追逐利润。许多动物因为失去了家园而灭绝。如国宝，熊猫。政府花了很多钱来保护它们免受灭绝，新出生的熊猫宝宝由专家来护理，然后再放回大自然中，希望它们不会从大自然中消失。但结果并不总是好的，因为当它们回到大自然中时，自然环境却不能给它们提供存活的因素。如果大自然失去平衡，人类与自然就没有办法和谐相处，总有一天我们也会消失。

我望着你那挺直的树干，坚强的顶开你头上的石头和硬土。不一会儿，你又繁殖出和你一样坚毅的竹笋，你在风的带领下沙沙的吹着，听啊!那声音组成了一首动听的乐曲。你的枝干显现出了清新素雅的美，你的叶子正应了一句诗：“虚心竹有低头叶，傲骨梅无仰面花。”证明了你和傲雪报春的冬梅一样，你是挺拔多姿的翠竹，你和梅松都有不畏严寒的高洁风格。

在那春天百花争艳的气息中，你却没有同其他花比美，你就像梅花一样，独自开在那不为人知的默默的地方，你为了给人们带来凉爽的气息，你就借助风的力量，吹动你的枝叶，让人们感到神清气爽;在冬天你又为了给人们带来冬天的勃勃生机，你又开始繁殖，只为给人们带来春天。

每当我走进一片竹林，都能感受到竹林比外面多了两样东西，第一样是：纯洁的空气，滴二样是：那鸟儿清脆的歌声，都久久在我心里荡漾。

我看着那挺拔的竹，突发奇想，灵感爆发，描绘出了我生命深处的颈竹，愿你那不怕困难的风格也让我不怕困难。

我们班里的一个同学，她是我的好朋友。她总是扎这一条马尾辫；珍珠似的大眼睛；睫毛好像被浓墨染过一样地黑又长；樱桃般的小嘴。她活泼、可爱，但更多的时候是“腼腆”。

她有个缺点就是在上课一言不发。偶尔回答问题时，她总会露出那张面红耳赤的圆脸，而且“声音欠响”！但是那样会感觉她是个漂亮的小女生。

在她的上课和下课间，相互比较。可以说是完全不同性格的一个人了。下课后她失去了那张愁眉锁眼的面孔，成为一个活泼可爱的女生了。倘若，有个人说一个笑话，她会笑得前俯后仰，上气不接下气地，之后“搞逗“一词就从她嘴里脱口而出了。

胆小也属于她。晚上，在“稍微”有些阴暗的地方说声：“有鬼呀！”她会一边尖叫一边跑，好像后面有一头狼在追赶似的。想不到的是，这事居然弄假成真了。她还会半信半疑地说：“好像真的有，刚才很可怕！”听到这个故事你们已经那个该也会笑得合不拢嘴吧！

下课难免会发生打打闹闹的事件。虽然有句俗语————一个巴掌拍不响。但是引起事端的总是男生的“嘴”。她不可能忍气吞声，所以和某男生打起来了。男生呀————祸从口出！她总是“针锋相对”，不肯退让，看到她怒目圆睁的眼睛，就知道她有多生气了。

平时，她是个文静的女生。当她唱歌、跳舞时，更是让人羡慕不已。听到她悦耳的歌声；看着她优雅的舞步；会使人被她的歌声和舞步带到“另一个世界！”而我，把她幻化成蝴蝶，在我的视线中“翩翩起舞！”

这就是我的好朋友————应苏敏！

good morning, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. now ,it"s my turn. my name is edgar, a high school student. i am very honored to be here to give you a speech. also it"s a good chance for me to improve my english. i hope i can make a good performance today. the topic of my speech is "after studying here".

before i came here,i can never imagine that i can learn so much knowledge about other countries, which can"t be got from my books in school. three months ago, i took my first class. unfortunately, i felt so embarrassed, because i even can"t speak any words, though i know i really love english .

after that, i took some of my tutor"s advice and previewed the lesson that i’ll learn. what’s more, in every class, i just try my best to say as much as possible. now,i can only remember it"s a really hard time. what’s worse, i had to go to my high school and went there at the same time.

after several weeks, i began to get used to the atmosphere in web .at least i"m not afraid to speak in front of my tutor and foreign teachers.

during web’s period,i found i had improved a lot, both physically and mentally. for example, how to be a confident person, how to plan for my future. and the most important is that i have learnt how to communicate with others, which is a necessary skill. nowadays studying is not the only thing that we high school students should do, there are some more important things we have ignored.

first, i am grateful for my parents. they have spent so much money for me, but never ask for anything in return. i really know how hard it is to work on such living conditions.

now it"s time to introduce my tutor sally. it was she that led me to the right studying here. it was she that helped me deal with all kinds of annoying things. also there are some other teachers that i appreciate, especially laura and anita. of course, i like to take foreign teachers" classes. anyway, thanks all of you!

i know i am young; there is a long way in my life. i have to face the difficulties and solve them by myself. but i know i must keep on my dream, i agree that if you put your mind to, you can accomplish anything.

童年就像是夜空中一颗颗璀璨的星星，我现在就把最璀璨的那颗心摘下来“送”给你们！

记得在童年时代三月的某一天，我慢悠悠地走过垂柳依依宁静的湖畔，三月醉人的清风一路随行。

不知怎的，我突然留意起脚下的蚂蚁。那一只只黑色而又幼小的生物吸引住了我的目光，使我停下了脚步。我蹲下一看，它们嘴里叼着饭粒，而且还成群地来回走动着，根据我生活在地球上五年的经验，我就一口咬定它们是在搬家。

正当我看得兴起时，不知是老天爷看我不顺眼还是怎么的，“哒哒哒”天空中下起了雨。我为了不被雨淋湿，将视线从蚂蚁的身上移开，准备离开。就在这时，我脑子里突然蹦出一个念头：为什么蚂蚁要在快下雨的时候搬家？

日后，关于蚂蚁搬家这一问题一直干扰着我的学习，甚至是生活。我实在是被逼得没办法了，便想亲自去探索这个问题的究竟。

起先，我去请教爸爸。可得到的答案却极其让人失望的：“正在忙，一会说。”可我的好奇心可不会因此而燃灭。在我的再三询问下，终于，父亲烦透了，把我轰出了他的房间。

父亲这个举动对当时满脸期待的我是多么重的打击，但，让人喜悦的是，我并没有放弃。我开始自己在雨天来临前，观察蚂蚁搬家。最终得出了满意的答案：蚂蚁喜欢在适宜的环境里生活，如果天气转凉，它们会选择高处探索新巢。我依稀记得，当时的我开心得不得了，居然嚷嚷着要跟蚂蚁一起搬家。

看！这就是我所认为的夜空中最璀璨的那颗“星星”。你的呢？

1、我的爸爸是个老师，他中等个，有点胖，鼻梁上架着一副黑框眼镜。他在学校教地理，这副眼镜帮着他看见了中国，看到了全世界；他也教历史，这副眼镜又帮着他看到了书中古今中外的历史人物，了解到变化万千的事实。

2、我的爸爸长得可帅啦！他有一双大大的黑眼睛，两道浓浓的柳叶眉，就是特最大的象征。大家都称他为——美男子。

3、我有一位“贪玩，”的爸爸，他今年38岁了，矮矮的个子，瘦弱的身体，黑乎乎的皮肤，可惜黑黑的脸上竟长了许多小疙瘩，红红的，我一点也不喜欢。

4、我的爸爸身材矮小，瘦精精的，白白的皮肤，黑黑的头发，那一头自来卷儿的“大波浪”发型，谁见了都会以为他是在理发店烫的。他的同事们都说他是缩小了的费翔，我也这样认为。

5、如果你看到这么一个人：头发大部分都白掉了，好像《济南的冬天》里那下点小雪的小山一样，只可惜头发剪得蓬松松的，身上经常穿着一套黑色的西装，而且一穿在身上就舍不得脱下来，因此他很少换新衣服，脸上戴着一幅笨重的眼镜，也许是为了省钱，他的眼镜都是在街上买的，“价兼而物美”而且也不看度数，只要戴得舒服、合适就行了的数学老师，这就是我的爸爸。

6、爸爸长着一对浓眉大眼，鼻子下面是张似乎永远不会笑的嘴。他的脸看上去有棱有角，让人一看便知道他是个不苟言笑的人。()

7、我的爸爸是一位体育老师。高高的个子，宽宽的肩膀，长得十分强壮。就是因为天天要上体育课，被太阳公公晒得有点黑。同事们经常约爸爸出去玩，但爸爸的工作多如牛毛，连一点点的时间都没有。

8、父亲看起来很健壮，黑黑的皮肤，在我看来发达的肌肉。他的工作是个实实在在的体力活，每天给人家搬运砖瓦，正因为如此，他的手上总会有一些细微的伤口，虽然非常细微，但却很深，他的左肩上有一个因长年扛砖留下的黑褐色压痕，每次看到这些我的得鼻子总会一酸，泪水在眼眶里打转。

9、爸爸有一头乌黑的头发，一双浓浓的眉毛，分不清真假；脸上还镶嵌这一双尤其幽深的眼睛，时常盯着我，让我干任何事，也不敢有半点马虎；你别看那一双不起眼的嘴巴，会将出任生的大道理，还会教育我和哥哥如何去做好一个完美的人。

10、我的爸爸是一家之主，他长得不高不胖，有一双充满智慧的眼睛，头发短短的，鼻子和耳朵上架着一个大眼镜

11、我有一个严格无比的爸爸，他的脸凶得像一个“国”字形，脸上还嵌着一对不大的但炯炯有神的眼睛，走起路来，昂首挺胸，显出了一个像军人的气派。

12、小时候，我笔下的爸爸理着乌黑的小平头，黝黑的脸庞上威然一幅年轻有为的神情。一身西服嵌在他的身上，也有一点拒人于千里之外的感觉。

13、爸爸人长的很胖，全身不是肌肉，而是一身肥肉。岁月没有在父亲身上留下多少痕迹，从远处一看，小伙还挺酷的。说起我爸爸的头发那真叫绝。因为我爸的头发“屈指可数”，全都“分布”在头的四周。前面的头发最长，而且“自己”形成了一个“小岛”。那情形就象在黑色的森林里包围的“沙漠”，我想这可能是爸爸从事脑力劳动的结果吧。

14、我的爸爸有着一双炯炯有神的“火眼金睛”，我在家的所作所为，都逃不过他的那双眼睛。爸爸的鼻子又像仰天鼻，又像鹰钩鼻，让人难以分辨。爸爸可是有着一张吃遍天下美食的福嘴，不管什么样的美食，他都吃过。老爸成功地戒酒后，显得十分地健壮，力气也变大了不少！哪怕是比他重20斤的人，他也能不非吹灰之力地将那人压倒在地

15、我的父亲是一名普普通通的中国公民，他一米七八的中等身材，一头粗而硬的寸板短发，额头上刻着几道抬头纹。

16、我的爸爸是一个计划生育工作人员。他中等身材，一张“国”字形的脸，一双充满豪气的大眼睛嵌在浓浓的眉毛下面，爽朗的神情之中透出热情。

17、我的爸爸身材不高，看上去年轻有力量，身体偏胖，一双眯眯的小眼睛，说话的时候一口洁白无暇的牙齿露出来。爸爸是一名政府的官员。

18、爸爸个儿中等，瘦瘦的，浓浓的眉毛下嵌着一双又大又亮的眼睛，高高的鼻梁下是一只能言善辩的嘴，看起来十分精神。

19、父亲个子不高，大概有一点七米左右。眼睛小而明亮，一头乌黑浓密的头发，铜色的脸孔，鼻子不高，有着一个漂亮的嘴唇。强壮的身躯全身都是肌肉。整个人看上去很有气质。

20、爸爸平时总戴着一副眼镜，个子不高，皮肤白皙，穿着一身白色的工作服的时候特别象一名古代的书生，一脸文雅的样子。
