我的妈妈长着一头微黄而又弯曲的长发，有着一对柳叶般的眉毛和一双智慧的眼睛上戴着一副精致眼镜，能说会道的嘴巴里有着洁白、整齐的牙齿。我的妈妈有点富态，看上去非常和蔼可亲。

妈妈对我的关怀无微不至，记得有一次，我洗完脚，看着我的那双臭袜子心想：“真是的，我可不想洗，但妈妈一定会像平时那样叫我洗的，我还感冒着呢！”谁知这时妈妈走过来轻声地对我说：“你去歇息着吧，让我来洗。”我欣然同意，可是后来我才知道其实那天妈妈病得比我严重多了，我心里非常难过：“妈妈已经够累了还在生病，这点小事还要她来做，真是惭愧。我得了点小感冒难道就不能自己洗吗？”。还记得有一天夜里外面下着大雨，我突然发高烧，小脸蛋顿时红扑扑的，我痛苦地呻吟着，妈妈着急得不知所措，她连忙拿来一块湿毛巾敷住我的头，接着给我服药，之后毫不犹豫地背起我向医院飞奔而去。

妈妈有时很宠我，只要我说要买书，妈妈就会兴奋地拉起我的小手，把我带到书店里去选购。只要我喜欢的书无论多贵，妈妈都会毫不吝啬地给我买。但是妈妈有时却也威严得吓人。有一次，我一心只想着玩，马马虎虎地完成了作业，便跑出去了，妈妈在书房里认真地给我检查作业，过了好大一会儿，妈妈铁青着脸出来了，她用低沉而有力的声音对我说：“回去改你的作业，你一点都不认真！”我就像老鼠见了猫一样，乖乖地跟着妈妈去书房改作业，改完后，妈妈语重心长地对我说：“以后你要先认真审题再做，学习要踏实、认真，不能有一丝马虎。”从那之后，我再也不敢粗心大意了。

是妈妈给了我生命，她教育我、培养我，她对我的付出无怨无悔。她对我的好、对我的爱我无法用语言一一表达出来。

如果说我是一朵美丽的鲜花，妈妈就是那养育我的土地；如果说我是一片苍翠的绿叶，妈妈就是那给了我位置的大树；如果说我是一滴海水，妈妈就是那容纳我的大海。在这里我要发自肺腑的说一声：“谢谢您，妈妈，您辛苦了，我爱您！”

“送什么礼物好呢？送精致的又不够钱买，送廉价的又太小气了。哎！”我正在为这个问题而苦恼。这时厨房里穿来“咚隆咚隆”的响声，妈妈要准备洗碗了。我的金头脑机灵地一转，“有了！”我快步走向厨房。“妈！我来帮你洗碗。”我笑嘻嘻地对妈妈说。原来我送给妈妈的礼物是帮妈妈洗碗啊！“你干不了的！啊！你这孩子……”还没等妈妈答应，我就抢去她手中的洗碗布，把妈妈推出门外，快速地关上门去了。

“哗哗！”我打开了水龙头，首先我用水把每个碗都用水浸过，然后把浸湿的洗碗布加入洗洁精，我用洗碗布在碗里来回转动，擦了三、四个时，我想：洗碗也不过如此而已！就在这我分心的时候，我拿不紧手中的碗，碗一下从我手中跌落。完了！咦？碗怎么没有破？哦！这个碗是用铁做的。洗剩下的碗时我可不在敢分心了。……

终于洗完了！妈妈检查着我洗的碗，说：“你这次做得不错！你长大了！”我道：“不，我还差得很远呢！我以后还会帮你做的！”“好啊！”就这样我给妈妈送了一份使她开心的礼物。

五月份随着时光飞逝悄悄的来到，这意味着天下母亲同拥有的节日——母亲节，也即将来到。
