believe yourself and trust yourself is the most important thing. Find something

you really interest and trying to do it until then you will find everything is

so easy. Because you begin to take your first step, dont worry and keep

learning also dont give it up. Thirdly diligence plays an important role on the

way to our success. As the saying goes: "Diligence is the means by which one

makes up for ones dullness". And life is short and we have too much to do .

Without diligence, no one can achieve anything. Whats more, modesty is also one

of the factors to ones success. There is an old saying: "Modesty helps one to

progress and

pride makes one leg behind. " Everyone has his own strong points of which

he may have too high an opinion. The important thing is to be modest and learn

from othersstrong points. A modest person never hesitates to consult those who

are inferior to him. For he understands that the range of knowledge is larger

今天就是英语外研比赛的日子了，我被安排在下午2.30那场，老妈的单位离考场比较近，上午我便跟她去单位值班。

我在老妈的办公室里，一直都在背稿，时间过得很快，稿纸在我的手中不停地抖动，说好的不紧张呢?

简单吃了点饭，老妈看我这副状态，她提议说，咱们提前溜达着去吧，就当散散步。

午后的街道有些冷清，看到不错的景致，老妈竟不忘给我拍张照片啥的，她可真有兴致。不觉中就来到了“宝睿国际未来小学”门口，我们是下午考生中来得最早的。

等了好久一些家长才陪着孩子到来，有接待老师把我们安排在家长等候区，并给选手们讲了些注意事项，接着老师又读了考场名单，我被安排在第三考场。

这是初赛，演讲的内容是自我介绍加才艺表演。我看到有的选手准备得真棒!不光自己化了淡妆，还梳了很复杂很漂亮的辫子，有的还穿了美丽的裙子。有不少同学手里拿了画板，上面是他们精心绘制的图画，他们边指着自己的画边小声念着英语，看来他们的才艺表演一定是用英语介绍自己的画了。而我的才艺显得多么的微不足道，我只打算读一首英文小诗。

上午考完的同学在群里发来信息，他们说很简单，评委主要看你的口语能力，觉得背不好的，也可以直接读，我终于有了一些安心。

马上就轮到我了，听到老师念我名字，稿子在我手中抖的更厉害了。原来考场里只有三位评委老师，但其中有一位外国人。我的心开始咚咚跳个不停，手心也开始冒汗。我刚说一句“Hello everyone.”，三位评委老师便微笑着向我点头示意。他们这一微笑，我反而不自在的很，我僵硬的站在他们面前，机械地象在用英文诵经一般，我甚至听到自己的声音就象一只大苍蝇在我周围嗡嗡着飞，它飞飞停停，停停飞飞，可恶极了。我发现三位评委老师都在低着头，记录着什么，也不知他们听清了这“嗡嗡”声没有。自我介绍环节很快就完了，我看没人看我，便拿出稿子，直接读那首“四季”的小诗。依然没人看我，平时读得一点问题都没有，此时竟卡了好几下，自己都觉得糟糕透顶。

三分钟终于结束了，我向三位评委鞠了躬说了“thank you”之后，心情才平静下来。

因为我是最后一场，所以，我来到家长区没多久，就有老师进来，当场宣布进入复赛的同学名单了。老师神采飞扬，声音洪亮，她说：“非常高兴地通知大家，祝贺以下进入复赛的同学，读到名字的同学也请家长一起上台!”

接着老师便念“张三，李四”，没有我的名字!

我沮丧极了，连为大家鼓掌的力气都没有了。

也许从我站到台上的那一刻就被评委老师“秒杀”掉了。老妈反倒安慰我说：“你在这里登过台，已经很棒了。但一定记住，台上一分钟，台下十年功啊。”

是的，通过参加这次比赛，我也找到了自己努力的方向。

路过一家烘焙店，我说：“老妈，给我买点吃的吧，我要化悲痛为力量!”

人生就像一场旅途，最大的遗憾便是珍惜了不该珍惜的，放弃了不该放弃的，蓦然回首，我才发现拥有其实是件很幸福的事

一些人总是在寻找着什么，总是害怕错过，可是他们殊不知自己在寻找害怕的时候就已经错过了，他们不懂得珍惜已经拥有的，他们每一次都认真的寻找，结果却发现自己错过了许多，他们也许错过了就是一辈子，一些人就如同旅客一样，只着急快点赶到目的地，殊不知他们在赶到目的地的同时，却发现他们错过了沿途中更美的风景。

珍惜已经拥有的，那样我们在老年的时候回想起自己的一生才不会觉得悔恨遗憾，一些人，拥有的时候不懂得好好珍惜，错过了失去了才知道自己拥有的东西也好人也罢是多么的重要，可是当你后悔的时候那样东西却早已不知所踪，人也是一样，错过了便是一辈子，也许当你后悔而去回头的时候那个人早已离你远去，那时你追悔莫及，你却不知道因为你当初的不珍惜，却早已让那个人伤透了的心，当你追悔莫及的时候，一切都已晚矣，珍惜已经拥有的，远比你去追求别的而得不到的东西容易得多，珍惜已拥有的，说难不难，说易也不易，只是看每个人怎么理解罢了，在人追求得不到的功名利禄甚至是权利美色的时候，你拥有的便一点点的消逝，当你累了的时候，蓦然回首，发现你仅仅拥有过的，都已随着你争名夺利而慢慢的散去，那时你悔恨，你悔恨当初自己为什么不好好珍惜你自己拥有的，可那时已经晚了

所以，从现在开始珍惜你已经拥有的吧，那样才不会后悔，那样在你年迈的时候，才不会因为年轻时的年少轻狂放弃不该放弃的而遗憾，珍惜已经拥有的吧，他们会在某个时间某个地点，把你对他们的珍惜成数以百计甚至是数以千计的回报给你，珍惜拥有的吧，那样我们才不会错过人生旅途中沿途最美的风景，最美的人情。

precious time of ones lifetime, because youth stands for young age and energy.
