就这样捡着捡着，突然间想起不久前妈妈带着我到施光南玩，看着那广场上弯弯曲曲的小河流水，我感到很开心很兴奋，狂奔着跑向小河，挽起裤管刚想下去玩水游泳，结果被妈妈阻止了，但还是嘟着嘴坚持要下去，想着那就是我的天堂，妈妈真不够意思。这时妈妈走过来，摸摸我的头，微笑着说：”宝贝，那小河里被扔进了很多的垃圾，会产生很多的细菌，你要是下去玩水，身上也会粘满细菌，对身体不好哦，要不我们先一起把小河里的垃圾捡起，等下再去买把水枪喷射好了，告诉正在扔垃圾的其他人不可以这样做好吗？“

虽然觉得妈妈的话很有道理，虽然玩水枪一样玩得很开心，但是心里觉得还是有点遗憾，我是多么想下去玩玩水，游游泳啊！

多么希望每个人都能够讲卫生，不往水里扔垃圾，多么希望明年的今天回到这里时可以看到清爽干净的水，可以不再只是玩水枪，而是可以下水玩个够啊！

保护环境人人有责。我期待我们的家园越来越美好！

这几天我通过调查，发现了很多污染环境的现象。比如：涟水河畔来来往往的人很多，有的人往河里扔垃圾、丢果皮等，原本清澈的河水变得浑浊；美丽的碧洲公园地面上可见来往行人随手丢弃的果皮垃圾，变得不堪入眼；公园内的洗手间，行人大小便之后没有及时冲水，变得臭气熏天；还有随意放鞭炮和焚烧垃圾现象，让清新的空气弥漫了烟雾和灰尘。

公共场所乱吐痰、乱扔垃圾，引起各种苍蝇乱窜。如果没有环卫工人及时打扫的话，那我们的家园有这么美好吗？保护环境人人有责，呼吁全市人民行动起来，不但要珍惜环卫工人的劳动成果做到人人讲卫生，不随意丢弃果皮垃圾，还要共同保护环境多植树不污染环境。

园里都总有一处美丽的风景，可现在大家都不保护环境，这才使我们的环境遭受破坏。你看街道上的角落到处都有塑料袋，烟头。小区里的花坛上到处都有脏东西，我们应该保护好我们现在所拥有的一切美好资源。我就在这人们不保护环境的情况下遐想：一天，大树爷爷在一处美丽的风景休息，突然来了几个人，准备在这里野餐。没一会儿这里美丽的环境一下变得脏兮兮了，但这几个人还是置之不理。“这几个人终于走了”大树爷爷悲哀的叫着，唉!那几个人把小草上弄上了烟头，地上掉满塑料袋，瓶子。没过几天大树爷爷因环境不好呼吸困难死去了。

你知道吗?现在地球环境已经遭受了十分严重的破坏，而造成这种破坏的罪魁祸首还是我们自己啊!平时随手一扔的废纸、塑料袋、可乐瓶不正是危害地球坏境的关键所在吗?如果不是这些我们随手扔掉的垃圾，我们地球环境还会变得这么糟糕吗?下面我举两个保护环境的例子。

今天放学的时候，文景苑门口出现了三个身影，唔，看不清是谁。身影渐渐走进了，哦，原来是我、奶奶还有吴通成。我和吴通成手中还一人拿着一根香肠，津津有味地吃着。没一会儿工夫，我吃完了香肠，双眼四处搜寻，看看哪儿有垃圾桶。啊哈，找到了!这儿有一个。可是，谁知那根竹签不愿意进入垃圾桶，淘气地从我手中挣脱了。我心想掉了就掉了吧，一根竹签嘛!有什么了不起的?可是我猛然想起今天讲评的那张语文试卷上的文章，才想到保护环境是多么重要啊!于是，我重新回到垃圾桶边上，把那根“淘气”的竹签放回了垃圾桶，顺便把垃圾桶周围的几片烂了的叶子也扔进了垃圾桶。做一个这么小的举动，就为保护地球环境做出了巨大的贡献，这样你的心情一定也会很愉快，何乐而不为呢?

有一次，我区我们小区的便利超市买零食，走到小店外的垃圾桶边，平时那个整洁的蓝色大垃圾桶现在却已变得狼狈不堪了。许多塑料袋、包装纸散落在垃圾桶的周围，显得十分脏乱，旁边的一位大哥哥还要随手把一个饮料瓶扔到垃圾桶旁，我顾不上脏，把这儿的垃圾都扔进了那个蓝色的垃圾桶里，蓝色的垃圾桶又显得格外整洁了，小店里的叔叔还走出来对我说：“谢谢你!小朋友。你把这儿变干净啦!”听到叔叔的感谢，我心中十分快乐。可是，那些社区里的人为什么就不肯多走一步，把垃圾扔扔准呢?多走这么一步，他们又会怎么样恩?唉……人们这么不重视保护环境，难怪地球环境会遭如此大的破坏啊!做这么一个小小的举动，你就为保护地球环境做出了巨大的贡献，听到店主的感谢声，你的心情也一定会十分愉悦，那么，你何乐而不为呢?

末日的警钟一分一秒的接近，有“地球之肺”的森林逐渐的减少，地球开始崩毁，地球只有一个，而且这一个属于大家，而不是人类的，地球是我们的庇护所，我们应该找到一个和地球共存的平衡点，减少地球的怒气，让人类不再是加重灾难来临的推手，让我们有更好的生活环境，同时也替后代子孙多留一些生存空间。

The environmental issue is getting worse almost every day in cities with very large population. As is often the case, city development outpaces environmental protection. People consume great amount of natural resources and produce wastes. To effectively address such problems, cities need to spend big money. In addition, they need to call to the attention of people to become more environmentally responsible.

Many people are becoming less responsible and easily influenced by bad behaviors. “Why should I care while others shouldn’t?” Such idea makes some people only concern with places where they live and work. Furthermore, people sometimes even purposely litter for revenge to other people.

Although media promotes environmental awareness, good people are often snubbed as posers who try to set up a superior image in real life. Consequently, they are intimated of receiving negative comments for doing the right thing. Wrong as it is, such phenomenon is widespread especially among youngsters and people with low income and little education.

However, our society is waging a campaign against environmental pollution. People learn the harms of un-degradable lunch boxes and other polluting wastes. Laws in many countries prohibit or limit excessive use of polluting bags. Companies are continually replacing the old materials with more environmental friendly and recyclable kinds. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

Economic development and environmental protection are a pressing issue primarily for developing countries where, in trying to catch up with developed countries, they have to consume natural resources on an unprecedented scale. Any attempt to pose economic development and environmental protection as diametrically contradictory is simple-minded. European countries both economically developed and environmentally friendly can serve as perfect examples for China. Their success story in both undertakings illustrates that environmental protection does not mean a complete standstill of economic activities or exploitation of natural resources, but rather an active development and application of effective technologies to minimize environmental consequences. In Germany, environmental protection has become part of economic development as it boasts the world s most successful environmental industry. With a developed economy, we are well equipped to develop sophisticated technologies that can effectively safeguard our environment.
