“珍惜生命之源，节约从我做起”，“水是生命之源，我们要保护每一滴水”这两句话说得很好，如果没有了水，地球就会干裂，如果没有了水，就没了我们这个美丽的世界。我们要爱惜每一滴水，爱惜地球母亲每一滴眼泪。

人们总是认为水是“取之不尽，用之不竭”的，事实上中国的水资源十分紧缺，人均水资源只有世界平均水平的四分之一。但是在这种条件下，日常用水中还存在着相当严重的浪费现象，比如在用水的时候去开门、接电话，刷牙、洗手后不关水龙头等等，据专家分析，这种不起眼的不良习惯造成了相当大的浪费，只要改制这些不良习惯，就能节水70%左右。另外污染也造成了水资源的浪费，听说现在许多地方的河流、湖泊受到了严重的污染，使得人们生活用水受到威胁，非常可怕，我的内心久久不能平静。

为了节约用水，我制订了家庭节水计划，决心“节约水资源从我做起”，要养成随手关龙头的好习惯，不玩水，洗脸水用过后可以洗脚，然后冲厕所，提醒妈妈，洗米煮面水可以洗油碗等等。

水是生命之源，应该从珍惜一点一滴水做起，牢固树立“节约用水光荣，浪费用水可耻”的观念，时时处处注意节约用水。
