The news that Mr Cai had passed away was known, and I fell into great

sorrow. The sound of the rain knocking on the window was so mournful that it

deepened my distress.

My memory brought me back to the class when I saw him for the last

time.

That evening it was raining, too. We started our lesson as usual at a

quarter past six. I sat in the first row, and I saw Mr Cai press his stomach

with a hand from time to time, but I didn’t know the reason then. The two hours

passed quickly. When the lesson came to an end,Mr Cai told us that he had

possibly developed a stomach cancer, and would go to Beijing to see a doctor. If

there was nothing serious, he would continue to teach us after he came back. He

was very calm and his voice was steady. He still gave us some homework. He said

that he would mark the papers as soon as he came back.

Then I started to wait for his return. I had not thought that I would not

see him any more. The cancer had taken his life, even though he was still

young.

Mr Cai’s words are still ringing in my ears,“I hope you will be one of the

best students.” I think I should work hard at English and live up to his

expectation .

I have lost a good teacher. Tears will dry up in time, but the memory will

stay for ever.

Once a child asked such a question: What can I benefit from being "a good

child"? Among the many answers he received one ran like this: "A good child" is

the most precious gift God gives to you. And the same can be said for being

honest. It pays to be honest.

Yes, its true that dishonesty exists almost everywhere in the society.

Consumers often found themselves being blackmailed by those merchants selling

shoddy products; and there are students

Cheating in order to pass the exams or get high marks; moreover, we are not

short of examples that many rich professionals evade the taxes by sacrificing

the interests of government.

But havent we seen their results? "A fall into the pit, a gain in

customers wit", which would surely drive those dishonest merchants out of

business. Regret of wasting time yet being

Empty-handed would accompany those dishonest students all their life. On

the contrary, we could have all they lost, especially a good reputation and a

clear conscience, which are the best qualities of human beings. Thats why we

say "It Pays to Be Honest".

Growing up is like running water,unconsciously from summer to

autumn.Years,whether happy or worry,is my growing experience,all is my stepping

stone on the road to success.

Happiness and worry is always two abandoned partner,they take care of each

other,everyone dont want trouble stay.Some people feel that there is no

happiness but feel that fate in torment them,in the world of light and dark,good

and evil.they are all separated lived,but only happiness and troubles is

"neighbors",because only with the happiness and worry,our childhood will be rich

and colorful.

Childhood,not only have like candy generally sweet and happy,like medicine

bitter troubles,and obstinate stubborn,I naughty smile.I alight to chase the

pace of growth,hold on to me that a good age.

The pace of growth continues,it does not return,cant go back.

Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a

growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up

along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future,

however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future

holds for me.

When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all

starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a

fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind,

intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect

job.

Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget

which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my

personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I

will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I

really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will

perfection and happy in the future.

Low carbon life is popular nowadays. Its aim is to reduce the energy in our

daily life, especially reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide. It is well-known

that the air pollution is more and more serious. So we should do something to

protect our earth.

Firstly,we should take more bus instead of driving cars. As people’s living

standard has improved, there are more and more people driving private cars. This

phenomenon is one of the causes for air pollution. Because its gas will produce

lots of carbon dioxide, which may enventually lead to air pollution. Secondly,

when we leave our house or classroom, we would better turn of the lights, fans

or airconditioning.

To make our unique earth better, we should appeal people to live a low

carbon life. It is also will be the main trends in the future. Let’s do

something for our mother earth.

给我,给我一件梦衣裳

温暖我十八年的思念,十八年的伤!

每次上史铁生的《我与地坛》，读到“我真想告诫所有长大了的男孩子，千万不要跟母亲来这套倔强，羞涩就更不必，我已经懂了可我已经来不及了”一句，总 是不自禁地眼睛有些湿润。学生们只道是老师读得入情，被文章感动了，有些原本脸上带些嬉笑神情的，也一下子变得肃然。只有我自己知道，我是想起我的母亲 了。

和史铁生的母亲一样，我的母亲去世那年，也才49岁。当儿子的，没有一个不欠母亲的，史铁生的愧疚，我也一样有，不是因为倔强，而是因为羞涩。那是在 母亲去世前不久，像往常一样，我忙完了学校的事情，就匆匆骑车回家，只为多陪一会儿母亲。那天母亲看上去气色好了些，心情也不错。她让我把她扶起来，背上 垫一个枕头，靠墙半躺半坐着。而我坐在床沿上，一边切点水果给母亲，一边与她闲聊。聊着聊着就说到了我小时候的事情。母亲提到有一次烧晚饭，我帮母亲在灶 下烧火，听说附近村子晚上要放电影，一高兴，把油灯都打破了。还有一次，我到外婆家去，一心想当乖孩子，便和几个小伙伴去割猪草。把有毒的草割回家，迫不 及待地喂给猪吃，把猪毒死了。这些陈年往事，我早记不清了，听着母亲的叙述，我好像一下子小了十几岁，又回到了童年时代。看着我发愣的样子，母亲坐直身 子，用她瘦骨嶙峋的手抚摩着我的头发，就像小时侯那样。一面自言自语地说着：“想不到我的傻里傻气的儿子，长大了还能成为全村第一个大学生！”

或许是受了母亲的感染，我也把初一时的一件丑事抖了出来。那时候正是越剧版电影《红楼梦》风行农村的时候，加上自己刚刚偷看过小说，平时没人处也爱一 个人哼几句。有一天上语文课，忘了上什么内容，大约是觉得枯燥乏味，抑或是自己事先预习过，已经懂了，总之是无聊到开了小差，不知怎么地又想到《红楼 梦》，并且耳畔似乎也响起了越剧《红楼梦》的旋律。忘情之下，居然旁若无人地哼起了“天上掉下个林妹妹”的唱段。结果可想而知，除了老师的一顿臭骂，还惹 来同学们的耻笑：“嗨，小子，你想哪个林妹妹了？”其实，在父母和老师的心目中，我一直算是个乖孩子，挨骂的时候很少，所以这件事留给自己的印象特别深。 母亲一直饶有兴趣地听着，临末笑微微地说了一句：“原来你会唱越剧，我倒不知道。你唱一段给我听听。”我忸怩了半天，终于没有唱。母亲也没有勉强我，她脸 上是否流露过失望的神色，我也未曾注意。没多久，母亲便去世了。

从此，我再也没有唱过越剧。

母亲去世十八年了。这十八年，蓄积了我太多的思念,却只化作一场场淋淋漓漓的清明雨；我也屡次动笔想写一写母亲，可总是欲写又止。偶有零星的文字，见于我的诗文。记得我第一次以母亲为题的文字，是一首微型诗——

母亲，在你去世后的第十八个清明节，我来到你的坟前祭奠。十八年前，你去了天堂，那个神秘的村庄。十八年来，我的黑发亲娘呵，你在天堂里是否幸福安 康？你可知道，十八年来，你体弱多病的儿子，一直在与死亡拔河？自从看着你安静地坠入永恒的睡眠，母亲，我就知道死亡并不可怕。今天，当我又一次，把你的 坟墓当作天堂的入口张望，天堂里一无所有，只见你的脸庞！

母亲,你傻里傻气的儿子，长大了一样是傻里傻气:不懂得人际交往，不懂得削尖了脑袋往上爬;也不懂得“与时俱进”，变着法子赚钱买车买房子。母亲,现 在你的儿子不再记不得自己做过的事了，是你教导我应该为自己所做的一切负责。而你为儿子所做的一切，已经深深地镌刻在我的记忆里。天冷了，生怕爱蹬被子的 儿子冻着，你一次次为我掖被子，又怕惊醒了我的美梦，你把脚步迈得很轻很轻。天热了，我在灯光下，用一首首诗歌清心杀暑，而你总是适时地给我递上一碗碗绿 豆汤……母亲，现在你的儿子依然不懂得照顾自己，可是你放心，你所做过的这些，十八年前，你逼我把婚姻计划提前、亲自选定的媳妇，十八年来，一直替你做 着。

母亲，我还要告诉你，你一直念叨却来不及看见的我的孩子，你的孙女颖颖已经十八岁。两个月后，她就要和二弟的女儿，你见过的媛媛一起考大学了，愿你的在天之灵保佑她们！

天亦有情，天亦有知。当我们去扫墓的时候，天还是晴的；等我们扫完墓回到家，天又淅淅沥沥地下起雨来。这淋淋漓漓的雨，是从母亲那边一路下过来的么？

When I was very small, I lived in my hometown. My grandparents raised two

dogs, and I liked them very much. I watched them grow up from the little animals

to the big dogs. Every time when I leaved home for school, they would follow me

for some distance. When I walked a little far away, they would turn home. When I

went home after school, they would wait for me in the door and swayed their

tails. I knew they were welcoming me home. They were like my family members and

I learned that animals are part of our nature. We should protect them. We can

create a harmonious society.

My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morningfrom

Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head

teacher says health is themost important thing. After running I have to do

morning exercises on theplayground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast,

I need to have morningreading. Oh, I almost forget that all of the students have

to do some cleaningbefore breakfast. There come the various classes. Then noon

comes. Havinglunch, I will go to sleep. I often read twenty minutes before I

fall asleep. I haveclass in the afternoon. And I still have classes at night.

It’s boring, right? ButI have got used to it and enjoy myself at school.

Today I am very happy, because today is not only "38" womens day, but also

my mothers birthday.

Early in the morning I thought, what to do for my mother? I thought to

myself, I didnt think of a way, so I went to ask dad. Dad said, "you can make

her a card or do something for her." So I decided to make her a card. I took out

a small piece of cardboard and wrote, "happy holidays and good health." Well, I

put the CARDS in my room.

I went out to help my mother mop the floor, my mother said in surprise:

"you dont even touch the housework, how do you have to mop the floor today?"

Ill just mop the floor and not answer mom. At noon, I put the CARDS in my

mothers room, and my mother said to me, "what are you doing in the room?" I

smiled at my mother and said, "its a secret."

At night, I said to my mother, "happy birthday to you, and I wish you a

happy holiday." Mother said: "today is my birthday I remember, today is what

holiday?" I opened my eyes to my mother and said, "today is march eighth

international womens day! Dont you remember? "I thought you knew it was for

you," I said to my mother. My mother took the card and looked at it, moved to

tears.

清明节，是一个中国的传统节日。它富含了许多深刻意义。人们在这一天都去祭拜自己的祖先，去祭拜先烈……这天，我走在大街上，走在山上，走在大自然中，看到了许许多多奇妙的，有趣的景象。

我走在大街上，发现一个有趣的现象。在大街上，卖鸡的人特别多，满街都是，数以数不清有多少家。其中更有趣的是：卖的鸡全是公鸡!为什么全是公鸡呢?我怀着满脑子疑问去问爸爸，爸爸说：因为我的家乡富川清明节祭祖要杀公鸡，用公鸡的血来祭拜祖先，表示对祖先怀念。这让我想到了歃血为盟。难怪，大街小巷满是卖公鸡的人。

我来到郊区的，山间小道上，看见人来人往，大家都有一个共同的目标，那就是祭拜一下自己已逝世的老祖宗，陪他们说说话，聊聊天，向老祖宗报告一下今年家里的事情。他们有的背着铲子，有的拿着贡品，有的拿着香火，有的拿着……一群人浩浩荡荡的向老祖宗的坟墓进发了。

我来到山上，看见山头上到处都是些“等待”人们来扫的坟墓，这些坟墓或高，或低;或华丽，或朴素;或高贵，或平庸……无数的大大小小的坟墓，无数已逝世的人们，他们的子孙都会在这时来祭拜他们。

清明节，是一个神圣的节日，在这一天，新鲜、奇趣的事情接连不断，真是一个无与伦比的节日呀!
