Fast food has flooded in our lives nowadays. Concerning fast food,

far as I am concerned, fast food is necessary but not a must in our lives.

Because the Han people accounts for more than ninety percent of Chinas

population, the remaining fifty-five groups are generally referred to as "ethnic

minorities." Next to the majority Han, the Mongolian, Hui, Tibetan, and Uygur

peoples comprise the largest ethnic groups. Although Chinas ethnic minorities

do not account for a large portion of the population, they are distributed over

a vast area, residing in every corner of China.

Particularly since the implementation of Chinas opening and reform policy,

the central government has increased investment in minority areas and

accelerated their opening to the outside world. This has resulted in an upsurge

of economic development in these areas. Each of Chinas ethnic minority groups

possesses a distinctive culture. The Chinese government respects minority

customs, and works to preserve, study, and collate the cultural artifacts of

Chinas ethnic minority groups. The government vigorously supports the

development of minority culture and the training of minority cultural workers,

and fosters the development of traditional minority medicine.

The relation among Chinas ethnic groups can be described as "overall

integration, local concentration, mutual interaction." Concentrations of ethnic

minorities reside within predominantly Han areas, and the Han people also reside

in minority areas, indicating that there has been extensive exchanges among

Chinas ethnic groups since ancient times. With the development of the market

economy, interaction among ethnic groups has become even more active in the

areas of government, economics, culture, daily life, and marriage. Linked by

interdependence, mutual assistance, and joint development, their common goals

and interests creating a deep sense of solidarity, Chinas ethnic groups

resemble a great national family, together building Chinese civilization.

When it comes to success, different people have different opinions about

今天是清明节，寒食祭祖，扫墓踏青。我们一起在二十六烈士墓前缅怀英雄。

一大早，我们参加“万里行”的同学就来到了学校，“满街杨柳绿似烟，画出清明二月天”，今年的清明节遇到了难得的好天气。带队的老师给我们简单的上了一节课，主要是指导同学们关于清明扫墓的注意事项及步行安全。很快，我们就向着西顺河镇出发了。

不久，我们就来到了淮安市爱国主义教育基地——二十六烈士陵园的大门前。老师向我们介绍了烈士们的英雄事迹，1945年新四军某团为保卫军部和顺河集人民的生命安全，与日伪展开阻击战，26名烈士壮烈牺牲。同学们默默的站在烈士墓前，献上鲜花，寄托哀思。仪式结束后，我们来到了烈士纪念馆，进入大门，我们就看到了两把烈士们用过的步枪，还观看了烈士们和日伪抗战的图画。此时，我们的脑海中又浮现出当年烈士们抗战的场景，为了保家卫国，他们献出了年轻的生命。

中午，我们坐车行驶在回家的路上。一路上的风景真是美不胜收，春姑娘悄悄的来到我们身边，金色的油菜花，粉色的梅花，洁白的梨花都张开了笑脸，柳树姑娘也悄悄地将它碧绿的小辫探进了清清的小河里。百花齐放，万物复苏……

欣赏着这一路美丽的景色，我的眼前又浮现出烈士们的样子。烈士们用自己年轻的生命换来了我们的美好家园，我们一定要好好学习知识，爱护家园，保护环境，保护好我们国家的领土，不辜负烈士们的期望。

On January, 2013, the public started a campaign called Clean Your Plate. This campaign aims to call on people to save food instead of wasting anything on the plates. The main theme of this activity is do not waste any food, starting with me. This campaign was first started from Sina weibo. Just a few days, tens of thousands people in China have joined in this meaningful activity.

In my humble opinion, everybody should join in this campaign. As we all know, the Chinese traditional virtue is to be thrifty even we are live in a better life. According to the latest survey, more than 50 million tons of food is being dumped in China every year. This wasted food can feed about 200 million people for a year. The old generation usually appreciates the leftover, if there is any food in the plate, they will eat them up; while the younger generation will dump the leftovers into the dustbin, they rather spend the money on other food instead of eating leftovers. I think such behavior is not only waste of food and money, but also broadcast the wrong idea that wasting food is acceptable. People should come to realize the importance of saving food. The governments should also take measures to reduce food wastage and encourage people to eat at home. What’s more, people should put an end to the expensive feasts and banquets.

I think this campaign should be moving on. Saving food for our offspring is everybody’s responsibility. Even if you’re a wealthy man, you still need to eat up the food on your plate. Waste is not a good habit.

The Duanwu or Dragon Boat Festival, generally celebrated on the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calender, falls on June 18 this year. It is one of the oldest festivals in China, with a history of more than 2,000 years. Legend holds that this festival is in memory of Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet during the Warring States Period.

In the celebration, you can enjoy a performance about that legend and watch live broadcast of dragon boat racing. In the meanwhile, varieties of Zongzi, an essential food for this unique occasion, are available, which take different shapes and various fillings. Come and join us!

For most people, they will choose to travel during holiday because they

want to relieve themselves from the high pressure of work. However, it happens

quite often that people often ran into traffic jams on the way to travel. Some

people think that we can relax ourselves by traveling no matter of how many

people there.

Some people would rather to stay in home than going out to travel because

they think there are too many people swarm into the scenic spots. In my point of

view, I would rather to stay indoors rather than going out to travel. Reasons

are listed below.

The new term is coming and I will be carefully . Because I will learn more

I will listen carefully in class . I will do more sports , such as running

, volleyball . Sports are really interesting . I will read more English books to

Since I went to college, I have made many friends and we shared the same interest. My friends and I liked traveling so much. We decided to travel abroad. The destination was Thailand. We spent ten days there and had a nice trip. It was such an unforgettable trip, and I learned a lot.

Since we went to school, we have been educated to be polite, no matter to

the young or old people. People follow the manner rules and have a nice

communication between each other, but some people ignore the rules and they

treat their rude behaviors as something cool. Today, people advocate the

individuality, so the young generation wants to do something different and catch

peoples attention. For example, they dont care other peoples feeling and

criticize others as they like, or just interrupt when other people is talking,

they just show what they want to say and they believe they are special and cool.

This is very rude behavior that they dont respect others and have the wrong

idea about individuality. We can do something special on the base of respect

Last Qingming Festival,I return home  to worship my grandfather.Qingming Festival is a folk Festival.In the past,In the past, the Qingming Festival was called "Arbor Day".

But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family will set out offerings of food and spirit money.

Unlike the sacrifices at a familys home altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland food.

One theory is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area, the less appealing food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered by strangers.

With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. My favourite sport is running.Every day I always spend half an hour on it.Sometimes I will intive my parents or my friends to join me,and I am really enjoy this sport . The tomb sweeping day is one of the traditional festivals in China. On April 5th people start to visit their ancestors’ tombs. Generally speaking people will bring the home-made food some fake money and paper-made mansion to their ancestors. When they start to honour their ancestor they will light up some candles and incense put some flowers around the tombs. The most important thing is to put the home-made food in front of the tombs. The food also known as sacrifices is usually made up with a chicken a fish and some pork. It’s a symbol of the offspring’s respect to the ancestors. People believe that the forbears will share the food with them. The children dedicate the food and money to their forbears in order to show their love and caring. The young offspring will go down on their knees and pray for their ancestors. They can say their wishes in front of the tombs and the ancestors will make their dreams come true.

清明节是中国的传统节日之一。从每年的4月5日开始人们就开始去祭拜自己的祖先。一般来说人们会带一些自制的食品冥币和祭品烧给他们的祖先。当人们开始拜祖的时候就会点燃蜡烛和香火在坟墓周围挂上鲜花。最重要的事情是把祭祀的食物摆在坟墓前。这些食物又称之为祭品，通常由一只鸡、一条鱼、一些猪肉组成。这是后代对祖先所表示的一种尊重。人们认为老祖宗会和他们一同分享美食。后代们献上食物和钱财表示他们对先人的爱和关心。晚辈们则会跪在坟前说出自己的心愿向先人祷告让祖宗保佑自己的愿望得以实现。
