虽然环境还在继续恶化，但世界各国都在积极地应对着。这说明，人类已经开始觉悟了，我们人类终于认识到了保护环境的重要性。现在，国际上于1972年6月5日至16日在瑞典斯德哥尔摩举行联合国人类环境会议以及世界地球日、世界海洋日、世界环境日也都给地球带来一些宽慰。毕竟，人类“懂事”了。

当然，对环境的保护，离不开我们每个人的共同努力。平时少开空调，上班、上学选择骑车或步行，减少对一次性筷子及一次性购物袋的使用，提醒他人保护环境等，都是对环保事业的支持，对大自然的热爱。

In this fast-paced modern society, life can be sometimes very stressful. One may get overwhelmed by whats going on. There may be a feeling of helplessness and the worlds spinning out of control. Its easy to lose hope. However, hope is something can be created with an optimistic state of mind.Optimism helps to increase hope for several reasons. To begin with, hope is something appears from our inside world. All of us have capacity to generate hope. This capacity is closely related to optimism. Optimism help us overcome fear, supporting us with great courage and confidence to overcome any difficulties. In return, it allows us to hold on to hope. Whatever we do or whatever is done to us, it is always constructive to adopt an optimistic attitude. As the saying goes, smile and the world smiles with you, weep and you weep alone. If you let yourself down, no one can pull you out and the situation could only go from bad to worse. But as long as you have an optimistic state of mind, you can have the situation under your control and therefore be more hopeful. Last but not least, God help those who help themselves. It was the first day of our winter holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In winter holidays, I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest.
