Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

As soon as we walked into the ice sculpture museum, we felt the chill of the inside, and I knew it was only minus six degrees Celsius. Were just like going into a big fridge. Ice sculptures in the ice sculpture hall are lifelike. It stood the ancient "Four Beauties": Sha Shi, Mochizuki Pipa Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan, Yang dancing, all lovingly pathetic. The side see also the twists and turns of the bridge deck and handrails, sparkling, shining. There are all kinds of ice sculptures at the side of the bridge. In the future there will be computers in our homes. Computers will help us

to know a lot over the world. We will be able to talk by e-mail. Scientists will

make many robots. Robots can help us to do some cleaning, do some cooking or do

Saturday again. How time flies! Another week has gone.

This afternoon, I was often absent-minded in class, for I was thinking of the film "The Sound of Music", which would be shown at 7 p.m. on the school playground. As soon as class was over, I hurried out of the classroom.

On the way home I saw a little child standing by the roadside crying. Obviously, he had lost his way. Forgetting all about the film, I went up to him and asked him to tell me whatever he knew about his family. It took me nearly an hour to send him home. His parents were very glad to find their lost child back and thanked me again and again.

I missed the film. But I felt happy.

Today I had nothing to do again, so I started to write about my boring

Matt gave us a class this afternoon, at the first part of the class, we saw a film. It was mainly about American football. After the film, we began t get to know the American football. It is similar to soccer, but it was much rougher. Players might get more easily. In another word, it was a game full of danger, they played just like fighting. One of the players just broke his leg during the match, and he would never play American football, because of his leg. What a pity! Matt told us that when he was in high school, he also take part in American football. He had broken his fingers for three times and his leg for once. I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation.

We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of

foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the

Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were

exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Walls history. They thanked us a lot

and we really had a good time. We felt proud of ourselves and being Chinese.

Today is sunny day, the sunshine is very nice. I am very happy, because I

meet some new classmates, chinese teachers and an Englsih teacher. They are

really friendly to me. In the morning we go to meeting room to atten the opening

ceremony of the summer camp. There are so many people in it. Then I have a test.

In fact, I really can’t stand it. In the afternoon, we meet English teacher. He

is really tall and thin. He is funny and friendly. The lesson is very

interesting. We like him. Then we meet Maria Zhang. She can speak English very

well. She teachs them about genesis and sing an English song. They are so

great.
