从年初一开始，中国人就会看望长辈，拜访亲朋好友，并送出精美的礼物和美好的祝福，表示自己的一片心意。除了拜访亲朋好友，看望长辈，送礼物和祝福以外，中国人还有一个传统的习俗，就是长辈要给比自己小一辈的人的儿子或女儿给压岁钱，这个习俗到现在都没有改变，只是面值变化了一下而已，像现在有的是100元的，有的是500元的，有的是600元的，有的是1000元的……

一般到了大年初一爸爸妈妈就去长辈家拜年；过了初一这个日子还可以去亲朋好友家拜年，也可以出去旅游或呆在家里。当然除了拜年和拿压岁钱以外，小孩子们最喜欢的“新年项目”就是放鞭炮、放烟花了。每到过春节，爸爸就给我买很多鞭炮和烟花，放在两个大箱子里，准备在年三十和年初一（年三十的十二点正）放。随着时代的变化，虽然鞭炮没变，但是烟花却变得形状各异，放出来的烟花也一年比一年更美丽。每当我想起那段放烟花的过程，我就觉得我的胆子大了。我每次都是点燃了火心，就马上跑得老远老远，因为我怕被烟花给炸伤了。当然我从来都没有被炸到过。特别是年三十的十二点整，是最壮观的时候了，那个场景真可以用火树银花来形容，各种各样的烟花争奇斗艳，在空中飞得高高的，而且一个比一个高，一个比一个响。在午夜的十二点，显得极为壮观，每到了此时，我就会异常兴奋，异常开心，整个人都沉浸在夜色中，毫无睡意。

可到了春节后，中国又恢复了平静。

春节，在中国的传统节日里是最热闹的了。春节是合家团聚的的曰子，它象征着团结、兴旺。然而，潮汕的春节却有着与别的地区不同的习俗，那是真是丰富多彩、别具一格呀！

潮汕地区的春节从腊月二十四左右就开始了，据说腊月二十四这天是“神明上天述职“的日子。家家户户几乎都会在这一天对家里进行一次“扫舍“，这不是像平时一样擦擦桌子，扫扫地那样。而是对家里进行一次彻彻底底的大扫除。这样做预示着一个“辞旧迎新“的好兆头

接下来的几天，大人们开始忙着购置年货了。街上出现了花市，这个时候的花要比平时的鲜艳，花盆也比平时的更精致、漂亮。但是价格也会上升，人们不为此而吝啬，购置新的年货也好显示出万象更新的气象。除此之外，大人们还得赶着购买年糕、红桃果、鼠壳果以及祭祖用的祭品等。

除夕是最热闹的一天了！早上，妈妈跑去市场买食物，以备晚上的年夜饭所用。家家户户都要贴上新对联。午后，每家每户都要祭天地、拜祖宗，是为了缅怀逝去的先人，并且弘扬了中华民族孝敬的传统美德。祭桌的祭品各式各样，有年糕、鸡、鸭、猪、鱼、酒、烟……家里的长辈先嗑头跪拜，晚辈们才能随之拜之。祭祖后，家人们沐浴更衣，换上了漂亮的新衣裳，一家人坐在一起谈着新鲜事。

除夕这一天晚上还要吃年夜饭，在外边做事的人，除非万不得已，必定赶回家来吃年夜饭。全家人欢聚一堂，围坐在一起吃火锅，这就是“围炉“。年夜饭上准备了许多寓意深刻的食物，吃鱼象征着“年年有余“、年糕代表“步步高升“……除此之外，年夜饭桌上还摆上了平时妈妈舍不得买的食品呢！如：大蚱蟹、鲍鱼、鳗鱼、海参、龙虾……这真是一场美食盛宴啊！吃过年夜饭，家人们便坐在一起守岁了。我们会泡上一壶醇香的潮汕功夫茶，看上一出精彩的春节联欢晚会。大人们会给小孩子发丰厚的“利是“，以驱除新一年的邪气。小孩子们在外面放鞭炮，放烟花，噼里啪啦好不热闹！新年的钟声在零点敲响，但人们丝毫不觉得疲倦。就这样，大家其乐融融地度过了除夕夜。此时此刻，大街小巷乐火通宵、张灯结彩，处处显示出春节的喜气！

俗话说：“有心拜年初一二，无心拜年初三四。“初一这不天早上，老人在家里接待客人，我们和家长一起到亲朋好友家拜年。大家一见面，不免说上一两句吉利话，每家每户的茶几都会摆上糖果，到亲戚家还能拿红包。临走时，双方还得互赠一对大桔以示两方“大吉大利“。这几天，小孩子们可以尽情地玩耍，不时拿出口袋里的几个零花钱买些新玩意，就算是做错了什么事，家长也不会责备我们，因为这一天不能骂人，不然这一整年都会倒霉。所以家长也不会追究。

到了正月初七。潮汕地区的人都得吃上一顿“七样羹“。七样羹是由七种不同的蔬菜熬成一锅的。由于之前吃了太多的大鱼大肉，所以这一天得吃七样羹，目的是为了调理肠胃。常吃七样羹还可以延年益寿呢！过了正月十五，我们这儿的春节便渐渐拉下帷幕了。这就是我们潮汕地区的春节，你喜欢吗？

我的家乡在重庆。在我们这里有很多过年习俗比如：贴对联、贴“福”字、贴“财神”、放鞭炮、包汤圆、杀年猪还有熏猪肉、灌香肠等。

其中我最喜欢的是包汤圆。大年三十这天，我们一家人围在大圆桌边一起包汤圆。外婆把包汤圆的材料拿了出来。就开始包很快就包好了。包好了就开始煮，我很想吃我亲手包的汤圆，于是我焦急不安的等待着。一分钟、两分钟、三分钟……啊汤圆终于出锅了!外婆给我们一人盛了一碗。在吃之前外婆对我们说在这锅汤圆里只有一个汤圆包着一元钱，谁吃到它在这一年里就会顺顺利利。我和我的表哥一听就埋头猛吃汤圆，我满嘴都是芝麻陷和糯米皮。呀!真好吃。我真想细细的品味汤圆的味道，可是为了在一年中顺顺利利，就不能让我的嘴消停一下。我瞟了一眼大人们，他们有说有笑地吃着汤圆。我心里很困惑：外婆是不是把有硬币的汤圆放到他们碗里了?于是我吃的更快了。我迅速地吃着，吃到最后一个时我突然被一个东西硌着了。我一下子从嘴里取出那东西时不由得大声叫起来：“呀!钱，我吃到它了!”我高兴得一蹦蹦了三尺高……

今年的事，和我家乡有趣的习俗我永远不会忘。
