It was the Eve of the Spring Festival.

Dusk was just falling as I slurped up the last bit of rice and laid down my chopsticks.

“Theyre starting!” cried my friend excitedly. “Quick! Quick!”

Outside, children were running everywhere. Their happy voices and faces made me warm inside, despite the cold wind that greeted me. My friend thrust a bundle of straw in my hands. “Come!” he cried. I giggled as I ran to catch up to him; the childrens excitement was a fever that spread to even the big kids like us.

I soon joined a rowdy bunch of children and teenagers who were building a bonfire in the middle of a path that ran through the wheat fields. “Here,”said my friend, handing me a long bamboo pole. “Put some of your straw in the fire. Then tie the rest onto your pole like this.” He demonstrated with his own materials, and I followed his example. Then he thrust both our torches into the fire and handed me mine. “Now run!”

And run I did----we all did. For miles and miles around, as far as I could see, there were small orange specks scattered about, and I could hear the distant screaming and laughing of other children running up and down the rice field path. For several hours into the night I helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. Occasionally I, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.

This festival, which occurred six days before Chinese New Year, was just one of the experiences during the visit to my friends over the Spring Festival. As it was explained to me, the purpose behind this festival was to allow the children to have fun burning up all the straw leftover after the harvest. Later, the ash is used for fertilizer.

一年一度的春节终于来了！街上热闹非凡，每个地方有着各自的特色。你现在我给大家介绍一下我们铁冲过春节的习俗。

每到春节的上午，家家户户的人都忙不过来。他们在忙什么呢？当然是在贴春联啦！春联都是红红火火的，都代表着吉祥幸福。门上贴着春联则有春味，无论再美的房子，就在春节不贴春联，那也不显得十分美观。

听！“啪啦啪啦——”这声音十分美妙，它唱出了春节的喜悦与热闹！你再仔细看，只见眼前一片红。就像一群红孩子在活泼乱跳。想必大家都知道它是什么了。

每到春节的中午，家家户户的人都会敬神（一般都是敬死去的亲人）一般敬神都要放置三碗饭和一些菜，然而这些菜不能是被吃过的，要不然是对神的不敬。

每到春节的下午，大家都要到墓碑前扫墓，都是怀着满满的孝心来看望亲人

每当春节的傍晚，家家户户都有除夕守岁的习惯。守岁从年夜饭开始，这顿饭得慢慢的吃，大家边吃边聊家常话，老人们最遵守这个规矩了，他们一吃就吃到深夜，而我们这些孩子们则耐不了性子，就跑出去，在外面一起玩爆竹，传来的欢笑声把除夕推到了高潮。

吃年夜饭时，则少不了这两样菜：一样是年糕，它是过年中最有代表性的食物，它也是我的最爱，因为它很甜。还有一样是鱼，“鱼”和“余”的谐音一样，是象征“吉庆多余，年年有余......”

比赛开始了，第一轮是挑战赛，是三个组之间的较量。分别是“无名组”、“火力银电组”和“快乐组”。另外我们还选了三位小裁判呢！三个组都派出了两位选手来参“战”。“开始！”唐假裁判发令。同学们都围绕着五张凳子跑了起来。谁知唐假裁判抢了裁判的口令“停！”其中四位同学不分清红皂白地听了停这个字，就坐了下去。“哈！”唐假裁判大笑，“你们中计了！”那几个同学这才反映过来自己中了唐假裁判的花招了！最后，冠军揭晓，是“快乐队”！很多人都笑了，还有人对唐教师的行为抗议！

亚季军争夺也很有趣，有个同学看凳子抢完了，不知所措，到底是谁喊的，到底喊没喊，只能睁着眼看着凳子被抢完。最后，“火力银电队”是亚军。“无名队”是季军。

友谊赛………

这次活动告诉我们：友谊第一，比赛第二；还告诉我们做事不能盲目，要仔细分清对与错。

今天下午，值勤过后，我就和同学一起坐43路车回家。车上很挤，我好不容易才找到一个座位，就一屁股坐下了，可以好好的休息一会了。

可是，车刚过了一站地，有一位老爷爷上车了，他微微驼背，大概六十多岁的 样子。我马上就想到了要给老人让座，但又转念一想，自己好不容易才坐下，让了怪可惜的。

怎么办啊?到底是 让还是不让?我想，身为一个少先队员，如果我不让的话，那又怎么对得起我胸前的红领巾呢?不能再想了，我一定要让。于是，我站起来，说：“爷爷，您来坐吧!”只见爷爷笑了笑，然后慢慢地坐下，并对我说：“真是好孩子!”我听了以后，心里也乐了，因为我做到了。

原来，以前过年还有一种放鞭炮的习俗，来源于“年兽”的>故事。很久以前有一只“年兽”，长期居住深海底，到了除夕就跃出海面到处作恶。有一年一个老人用放炮，穿红衣，贴红春联的方法驱赶走“年兽”，这才得以平静，此后这个方法就流传开来。但是现在广州禁止燃放烟花爆竹，所以我们就不再进行这个活动了。

除夕这一天对我国来说是极为重要的。这天晚上，我们全家准备除旧迎新，吃团年饭。

吃年夜饭，是春节家家户户最热闹愉快的时候。大年夜。丰盛的年菜摆满一桌 ，全家团聚，围坐桌旁，共吃团圆饭。人们既是享受满桌的佳肴，也是享受那份快乐的气氛，桌上有鸡、鹅、烧肉等等，一般少不了两样东西，一是火锅，一是鱼。火锅热气腾腾，说明红红火火；“鱼”和“余”谐音，喻意“年年有余”。最后一道甜食，祝福往后的日子甜甜蜜蜜。

这一天过得真快，转眼就到了快天黑的时候。大姨的厨艺在我们家族中可是最好的了，晚上肯定要留下来品尝她为我们准备的丰盛晚餐啦!面对着一桌子香喷喷的饭菜，我们一大家子围坐在桌边，每个人脸上都洋溢着幸福的笑容，我真的感到了”生活比蜜甜“的滋味呢!

过年真好，我不禁开始盼望明年的新年了!

今天是除夕夜，妈妈不用上班也休息在家了，我可高兴了，因为明天就是大年初一了。

“过年啦，过年啦”，我欢天喜地地拉着妈妈的手叫嚷着。妈妈看着我兴奋的样子也忍不住笑了起来，妈妈微笑着说：“今天是大年三十，最传统的习俗就是在这天包饺子，春节吃饺子是一项传统，有喜庆团圆和吉祥如意的意思，今天我们就包饺子，迎新年。”我连忙拍手并自告奋勇也要参与，妈妈同意了我的要求并叮嘱我把手洗干净。

一会儿功夫，我就看见妈妈已经把一切都准备好了，桌子上已经放好了饺子皮，一碗清水，还闻到了好香的韭菜味馅，我最喜欢吃韭菜肉馅的饺子了。这时候妈妈对我说：“宝贝，我们开始啦，你帮妈妈打下手，我包好后你给这些饺子排排队。”我听话地点点头。我看着妈妈很熟练地把饺子皮放在手心上，用筷子夹了一些馅放在饺子皮当中，沾了点清水两手一压一个饺子就成型了，妈妈刚包好两个，我就迫不及待地把包好的饺子一个个排在竹匾里，这些饺子就象穿着白色军装听话的士兵一个个排着队，真有意思。

半个小时过后，所有的饺子都包好了，妈妈把这些饺子放入窝中煮熟，捞出来我还帮忙把一盆盆煮好的饺子端放在台上，叫上外公外婆和爸爸一起吃。

看着大家围坐在一起吃着饺子，我心里黙黙地祝福着，愿大家新年快乐，身体健康。

每到春节我就会美美的睡上一觉，最后一个起床，可是今天我却不是最后一个起来的。我早早的起了床，人们把自己手中的鞭炮燃放，声音很大，四处飞溅，仿佛要把每个祝福传递给所有人，炮竹声接连不断，热闹非凡。我当非常喜欢看烟花绽放的那一瞬间，看着烟花一冲而上，直入空中，划过闪亮的轨迹。然后，绽开，绽开，越来越大，绽放出莲花的花瓣，像无数颗明亮而璀璨的流星。天空还绽放着其他花朵，有的像一颗颗流星，有的如菊花，各种各样，让我目不暇接。它打破了黑暗中的宁静，将自己最美的地方展现给所有人，变得光彩夺目。

到了晚上，我们一家人吃完团圆饭后坐在了电视机旁，看着春节联欢晚会。晚会布置得非常漂亮，几位主持人穿的喜气洋洋，让我感觉到了年的味道。

大家也为了春节晚会做了许多的努力，各各表演的都很精彩，尤其是刘谦表演的魔术，非常令人不可思议，完全搞不懂这是怎么回事，让人充满了疑惑，观众们也连连拍手叫好。但是最让人期待的就是那赵本山演的小品，幽默而搞笑。在里面赵本山为了不借给邻居钱，而让小偷偷他家的东西，把小偷都逼“疯”了。小偷竟说赵本山家地下是个古墓，听了就叫人毛骨悚然。最后才知道这个俗称自己是盗的小偷其实是来自于精神病院，小沈阳和赵本山另一个徒弟也出来了。这个节目内容非常精彩，我都不知道怎么说，我开心极了……

随着时间的流逝，晚会结束了，人们一定念念不舍。在新的一年中，我会取得新的成绩。在此，祝大家春节快快乐乐的！

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of  a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it.

My happy Spring Festival After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family， we began to sit down in front of the TV， and enjoyed 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala。 At about ten o’clock， the black sky was lightened by lots of fireworks with colorful light and happy sound。 We stop watching the CCTV 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala， and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view， and my father took some fireworks up， and we also began to play fireworks。 What a beautiful night。 Later， my cell phone was ringing all the time。 I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates。 They all blessed me happy New Year。 I gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words。 At almost 12 pm， I made a wish in New Year， and began to sleep。 When I woke up in the first day of New Year， my father and mother gave two red packets to me， and blessed me that everything will go well on me。 I thanked them， and accepted the red packets happily。 I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red packets。 This is my happiest time of the year。 After lunch， both my family went to the park， the streets， and the shops or supermarkets。 We took many photos in the park， and bought many things in the shops or supermarket。 I met my uncles and aunts， they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets。 I was too happy to count how many red packets I got。 The following days， we visited my grandparents and some of relatives。 We happily talk with them， and brought some presents to them， and also received some New Year presents。 This was how did I spend my Spring Festival; I really enjoyed myself in Spring Festival。
