There was once a boy and Henry who were both very good friends that lived

very close to each other. Each day they would go outside and play. One day their

parents decided to let them go to school to learn lessons. Of course they both

loved it very much.

They were in the same class and studied very hard to earn a reward.

One day when they were ready to go to school, their parents told them never

ever to walk on the ice; it may melt since spring was starting here.

They both agreed, but did they really keep in mind of it? Well, they went

off to the pond since they were going to cross it. They were too lazy to walk

the other ways; and they didn’t think that it was even possible that the ice

would melt, so they went on the ice slowly to cross it.

Suddenly, they both felt a crack under their feet, and the ice was to crack

and melt. They were very nervous and regretted not following their parents

advice.When it was time for school to start, they still didn’t cross it. When

they were about to reach shore; boom! The ice cracked, and both of them fell

into the cold icy water. They struggled for a while, at last Henry found a

还有奶奶，你最爱的老伴儿。她现在和我们生活在一起。你的离开虽然给了她巨大的打击。但她不哭也不闹，只是静静的坐着，她比我们所有人想像的都要坚强。老朋友，我会为她做所有你曾经做过的，虽然无法代替你在她心里的位置，但我会尽我所能让她快乐，让她宽心。你陪了她一辈子，宠了她一辈子，爱了她一辈子。她说她永远会记六十多年前，第一次看见你的那一天，她告诉我说你还在另一个世界保佑着她，陪着她。

我的爷爷，我最爱的老头儿，我承认我埋怨过老天爷。因为最怕失去你，他却还是带走了你。在很长的一段时间里，借着远在他乡，我尝试着逃避这件事情。我甚至害怕看到和你年龄相仿的老人，或是爷爷牵着孙女的画面。因为那会让我想起我温暖的老朋友。想起我成了没有爷爷的孩子。但你的离开让我坚强，这我都撑下来了，以后能打败你小朋友的事情就更少了。

老朋友，我永远不会忘记，你为我写的“吃鱼的故事”不会忘记，坐在你腿上听故事的自己。你第一次也是最后一次打我时所说的话，我逃课从补习班跑到医院看望刚做完心脏搭桥手术的你，你端着中药劝我喝下去的情景…….老朋友，但我也要忘记。没有送你走的我至今没有丝毫仪式感，我想为你画一幅画，写一封信，用小朋友的方式，给老朋友一个仪式。在这一切结束以后。小朋友会翻篇儿。接下来的一生我会努力的生活，等到百年之后，小朋友再见到老朋友。我一定会挺直腰板儿对你说。“爷爷，你孙女这一生很棒！没有让你丢脸失望!”

Dear Mom & Dad,

Today I want to tell you that you dont need to worry about me any more.

Im grown up! I will be responsible for my life and for my future. I will study

very hard. I will exercise everyday to keep fit. I will read English every

morning and every night. I will make the best use of every spare minute. I will

be happy, confident, positive and energetic everyday!! I will develop good

habits and use them to constantly improve myself. I will never do anything that

would harm my body or my mind. I will never do anything that would make you feel

disappointed or ashamed. I will learn as much as I can and become smarter and

stronger every day. I have learned by watching you that the best way to reach my

goals is to work hard and never give up. You’re my best role models. You set a

great example for me.

I have so many great dreams. I know that realizing these dreams will take a

lot of time and effort. But dont worry about me. I have strong confidence in

myself. I know if I keep trying, keep working hard and keep dreaming, I will

definitely realize all my dreams. I will be somebody special. But I will not

only care about myself. I will contribute to my school, my hometown and my

country. I will contribute to society. I will use all my abilities and talents

to help my family and my country have a glorious future. I will make a

difference in this world.

Dear Mom and Dad, you’ll be proud of me! You will see great results from

all your hard work and sacrifice. Thank you very much for your continued

support! Thank you very much for your patience, love and understanding. I love

you! I appreciate you! I’m very proud of you!

Exercise every day to keep healthy! Enjoy life every day and stay happy! My

only hope for you is you both to enjoy continued health and happiness. You

brought me into this word to share your life. I will do my best to make sure

each day of it is filled with joy and pride.
