叮铃铃!下课了!我们开始快乐的玩耍，过了一阵。叮铃铃!上课了!这节是音乐课。过了许久，胡老师也没来，正当我们正要叫同学去叫胡老师的时候，从隔壁班传来了一阵尖叫，而我们不以为然，过了一会，胡老师，终于来了，还提着两大袋糖，我们一看就知道，胡老师要结婚了!而且，我们也传来一阵尖叫，然后，我们就给胡老师道了一声喜。你们说，这不是双喜临门吗?

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually

in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. One emperor heard that

Buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of Buddhas

body, and light lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar

month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to

show respect to Buddha on this day. Later, the Buddhist rite developed into a

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

我一天的学习生活 My School Day

I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth.

After a quick breakfast, I go to school in my mothers car. It takes us more

than half an hour to get there.

我早晨六点起床，然后我洗脸、刷牙。匆匆吃完早饭，我坐妈妈的车上学。我们要用半个多小时才能到达学校。

We have four hour classes in the morning. I have lunch at my grandparents,

because their home is nearer to my school.

我们上午上四节课。我在爷爷奶奶家吃午饭，因为他们家离学校更近些。

After two classes in the afternoon, school is over. Then we clean our

classroom.

下午上两节课后就放学了，然后我们打扫教室。

I get home at about half past five. We have dinner at seven. After dinner I

do my homework. If I finish my homework early, I can watch TV for half an hour.

I go to bed at half past nine or ten.

My mother is just over fifty, a little bit older than our republic nation, so she has experienced two periods just like our country, showing both the traditional goodness and modern ideas.

Like all mothers, she is responsible and devotes most of her efforts to our family. So sometimes I feel regretful for her to give up her work, but she thinks it is the proper social role for a woman to be a housewife. She is satisfied with the family members achievements. She insists on keeping her children under her wings. You see how traditional she is.

However, since she is intelligent and has received the high education, it is easy for her to accept something new. In recent years, she is interested in the stock . Therefore, she cares about the political and economic situation of the country and the world, and actively collects information of the companies whose stocks she bought. What is more, she is a fan of the Argentine football team. So she was very sad after the defeat of this team in the 14th World Cup Tournament .

I love my mother, just because she loves me. Since we share some interests such as playing chess, we get chances to communicate with each other, which makes us close friends.

我妈妈刚刚超过五十个,有点超过我们共和国的国家,所以她经历了两个时期就像我们的国家一样,表现出传统美德和现代观念。

I believe everybody has their own hobby. Different people have different

hobbies. For me, my hobby is music. I like music very much. It is magical for

me. It gives me the sense of happiness. It can make me happy when I am sad. I

will listen to music every day. I listen to it on my way home and school, before

fall asleep in bed and eat. Sometimes I will try to sing songs.

我国有许多的传统节日，比如：端午节，中秋节，清明节等，其中，我最喜欢的是春节。

春节的那天清晨，我迫不及待地和妈妈一起去买烟花，零食和晚上年夜饭所需要的食材。

傍晚时分，爷爷奶奶两位大厨就开始在厨房里忙得不可开交了。吃年夜饭啦!桌子上摆放着各种各样美味的菜肴：有鱼、肉、鸡和鸭……看得我口水直流。

吃完年夜饭，我们全家来到院子里，拿出了烟花。我拿起打火机点燃了烟花，然后赶紧跑到妈妈身边，只听到“嘭”的一声，烟花像火箭似的冲上了天空，犹如花儿在空中绽放，有的像爱心，有的像贝壳，有的像蝴蝶……我们放了一个又一个，我和弟弟开心得手舞足蹈。

放完烟花，我们全家人一起包饺子，妈妈偷偷地在饺子里放了一块钱，如果谁吃到这枚带着硬币的饺子，谁就会是最幸运的人。

大年初一的早晨，我们通常都会吃年糕和汤圆，寓意年年高和团团圆圆。吃完早饭，我们就会去长辈家拜年，长辈们也会很慷慨地给我们红包，收到红包的我们别提有多高兴了。
