I am a student from Xinhua Middle School in Chongqing，China. Informed that

那一天晚上，我的脑海中不停的浮现着小猫咪的身影，耳边盘旋着小猫咪的叫声，我做了一个梦，梦见那个撞死小猫的人神情漠然，对躺在地上流着鲜血的小猫不管不顾，不是想办法救助，而是悄悄离开。想到这儿，我不禁想起了最近电视上经常报道的鱼翅，想到那些鲨鱼被割掉鱼鳍静静的沉入海底;我想起了马戏团的动物们，想到它们被逼迫表演逗乐观众;我想起了猎人们不停的不杀珍稀动物，想到是本来就濒临灭绝的动物们走向消失的道路……如果你是动物，遭受到这样残忍的对待，你又会怎么想呢?

保护动物，人人有责。只要人人都出一份力，“保护动物”的愿望就一定可以实现!

轻轻地合上《老人与海鸥》，我的心里打翻了五味瓶，酸、甜、苦、辣、咸顿时围绕在我的心头，久久散不去。好几次泪水大滴大滴的落下，打湿了我的枕巾，让我心中一片酸楚。

记得第一次读时，独到老人与海鸥如亲人一般时，我的心里像是被一把大锤狠狠地砸了一下，是啊!动物是那么怕人，对人那么怀有抵触心理，竟然能与人亲如一家。是多么的不可思议啊!记得我在爬山时遇到一只白鸽，那是，我十分喜欢它，忍不住凑上前，想用手摸一摸它柔顺的羽毛，亲昵的将它抱入怀中，我并无恶意，我刚走两步，白鸽就飞走了。由此看来动物对人是多么不信任啊!可文中却说的是海鸥自己飞来吃食，多么不可思议，若不是文中那么写，我是无论如何都不会相信的。看着文中的文字，想象着老人与海鸥快乐、开心的神情我心中没有别的，只有对这种信任的憧憬和羡慕，是啊!这是多么美好的场面啊!

当我读到老人去世海鸥送别的情景，我哭了，为老人而哭，为海鸥而哭，更为海鸥与老人的友谊而哭!这时，海鸥心里一定是很伤心、难过的吧!它们竟冒着被人抓的生命危险去为老人送行，这份珍贵的感情恐怕只此一例吧!老人知道了也一定很欣慰吧!和人一样，动物也有自己的爱憎，自己的情怀。海鸥与老人这份真挚的友谊，连人与人之间也极少极少，难道不可赞可叹?

回到保护协会，我们立刻投入治疗工作中。 我小心翼翼地剔除掉猫咪腿上伤口中的杂物，进行深一层次的消毒。接着，我把溃烂的地方用手术刀轻轻挖去，随后上药，缝合伤口，最后用纱布缠在伤口上。直到此时，我才深深地舒了一口气。我看向猫咪，发现它的眼里流露出感激的神情，好像在向我致谢。接下来的几天里，我们还定时给猫咪换药。 一个月过去了，猫咪的伤口痊愈了!我和同事们都很高兴。接着，我们在网上发布了猫咪的信息，希望有人能收养它，并好好对待它。

不久，一对夫妇表示愿意收养这只猫咪 如果我是小动物保护协会的会员，我会为我的动物伙伴们做得更多更多!

Dogs have been domesticated for most of human history and have thus endeared themselves to many over the years. Stories have been told about brave dogs that served admirably in war or that risked their lives to save persons in danger. When Pompeii--the Roman community destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in AD 79--was finally excavated, searchers found evidence of a dog lying across a child, apparently trying to protect the youngster. Perhaps few of the millions of dogs in the world may be so heroic, but they are still a source of genuine delight to their owners.

A dog fits easily into family life. It thrives on praise and affection. When a master tells a dog that it is good, the animal happily wags its tail. But when a master scolds a dog, it skulks away with a sheepish look and with its tail tucked between its legs.

People in the city as well as those in other areas can enjoy a dog. Medium-size or small dogs are best suited for the confines of the city. Large dogs need considerable exercise over a large area.

Dogs are not always well thought of, however. In recent years dogs in the city have been in the center of controversy. In the past dogs have even been worshiped as gods. Recently, they have been used in drug research, medical experimentation, and space science. Dogs are trained as guard dogs in peacetime by the United States Army and other military services. 蜻蜓生活在水边，扑捉蚊子等小飞虫，免得叮咬人畜，传播疾病；燕子是候鸟，专门扑食空中飞虫，如；蝗虫、蚂蚱等害虫；对农作物生长有益的青蛙生活在稻田里，每天能吃70多条害虫，是农民伯伯的好帮手；啄木鸟是森林的好医生，它们可以从树掏出蛀虫来，每天吃上千条害虫，好厉害啊！猫头鹰专吃传播疾病和破坏庄稼的老鼠……。

这些小动物可都对人类有益的，为人类作出了贡献哦，它们都是我们的好朋友，我们一定要好好地保护它们。首先，我们要爱护环境，让这些小动物有安身之处；其次，我们小朋友还可以成立保护小动物的队伍，宣传小动物对人类的益处，告诉别人不要扑食这些小动物……当然，可行的措施还不止这些，希望所有的人都行动起来，为保护好小动物献计献策。

前几天，爸爸从超市买回来一个大大的鱼缸，于是我开始期盼爸爸买几条金鱼回家，终于，爸爸把金鱼带回来了。

爸爸一共带回来八只金鱼，都不是很大，挺小的，一放进鱼缸里就四处有开了，一旦我靠近它们，它们就躲进水草里，只露出尾巴一动一动晃动。终于借着喂鱼食的时候，我能够观察它们了，这几只鱼差不多都是橘色的，大小差不多，不过其中有一只是白色的，还带了些斑点。鱼尾很薄，几乎都要融入水里了，如果不是因为水一直都在动，你可能要仔细看才能发现它们的尾巴，小金鱼的尾巴是扇子形状的，可漂亮了。

平时的时候，小金鱼们在水草里面玩躲猫猫的游戏，偶尔你还能看到水草后面出现一串泡泡哦。小金鱼的眼睛鼓鼓的，嘴一张一张的，鱼鳃也一动一动的，水从嘴里进去，从腮里缓缓的流出来，可神奇了。

我喜欢我们家的小金鱼。

“我想回家，我想找妈妈……”一阵阵声音从教室里传出来，原来这是小鱼的呼唤。如果让你关在屋子里不出去，你会不会感到不快乐？鱼儿也一样！

在今天的教室里，多了几条活泼可爱的小鱼，看着它们在鱼缸里转来转去，一个声音从我的心中传出：“让小鱼儿回家吧，让它得到属于自己的自由！”于是，我们在老师的带领下，准备去放生小鱼。

走在山间的小路上，我不由得心想：我是多么依依不舍呀！我抱着鱼缸不敢走得太快，怕鱼儿在鱼缸里会动荡不安，可又怕走得太慢会让它在水中的伙伴等得太久。我们好不容易走到了盘龙山脚下，啊，这里山清水秀，鸟语花香，真的让人流连忘返！

我们来到池塘边，池塘里的水清澈见底，碧波荡漾，不时有黑色的小蝌蚪在水中自由自在地游着，好不快活！

准备放生了，我们小心翼翼地将小鱼倒入水中，那一刻，我是多么地不舍呀！小鱼在水里游来游去，像是在感谢我们，又像在和我们告别……可我硬是转身离开了，心里异常沉重。回去的路上我看到路旁的小草在向我点头，玉兰树似乎在向我点赞。我的心情也逐渐好转了，因为我知道我今天做了一件令自己都敬佩的事！

“劝君莫食三月鲫，万千鱼仔在腹中。”我们一定要保护动物，让所有的动物朋友都能得到属于自己的自由和快乐！

Animals are our good friends. People should be friendly to them. But now, many people in China as well as in the world kill animals in order to get money. Its well known that there are many kinds of rare animals in China, such as pandas, golden monkeys and so on. Some people catch or kill them. They use their furs and skins to make clothes and shoes or eat their meat. As a result, a lot of rare animals have disappeared.

What a pity!

At present, our government have made some plans to punish these people. Recently, some nature parks have been built. Lots of money collected for protecting them. For example, some students put on perfom ances or have other kinds of activities to collect money for rare animals.

Its our duty to protect wild animals. As nature is like a big family, man and animals must live together in it peacefully. We must keep the balance of nature. If we do like this, our world will become better and better.

Animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history。 Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers， for food， for sport， and simply because they were in the way。 Thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever。 Hundreds more are on the danger list today。 About 170 kinds in the United States alone are considered in danger。

Why should people care？ Because we need animals， and because once they are gone， there will never be any more。 Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting。 They are more than just a source of food。 Every animal has its place in the balance of nature。 Destroying one kind of animal can create many problems。 For example， when farmers killed large numbers of hawks， the farmers stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice。 Why？ Because hawks eat rats and mice， with no hawks to keep down their numbers， the rats and mice multiplied quickly。

Luckily， some people are working to help save the animals。 Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem。 And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger。 Quite a few countries have passed laws。 These laws forbid the killing of any animal or plant on the danger list。 Slowly， the number of some animals in danger is growing。

Advice on Protecting Wild Animal

Many animals are in danger of dying out。 As is shown in the chart， we can see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will continue。 From 1980 to 2010， at least 1 million animal species have disappeared。 Worse still， more and more wild animals are in great danger。 It is not a piece of sensational news; it is a fact， a harsh reality。 Unfortunately， we may not see these animals in the near future。

很多动物频临灭绝的危险。图表显示，我们能够看到动物物种数量下降的速度越来越快，而且这种趋势将会持续下去。从1980年到2010年，至少有100万动物物种已经消失。更糟糕的是，越来越多的野生动物处于巨大的危险中。这不是一则耸人听闻的新闻，这是一个事实，一个残酷的事实。不幸的是，将来我们可能看不到这些动物了。

From the second picture， we can find some reasons。 Why is the number of animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have bee victims of fashion industry。 Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and these clothes sell at a high price。 So some greedy people begin to kill animals in a large quantity。 This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings。

从第二幅图我们能够找到一些原因。为什么动物物种的数量一年年的减少呢?显然，动物成为了时尚工业的受害者。动物的皮被用来做时髦的衣服，而且这些衣服都是高价出售。因此，一些贪婪的人就开始超多屠杀动物。这种不负职责的行为不仅仅打破了自然的平衡，而且使人类居住环境陷入危险。

As far as I am concerned， something must be done to stop this illegal action。 We believe "no buying， no killing"。 First， we must make concerning laws to protect these animals in danger。 Second， we must take some measures to protect animals effectively。 Animals are our friends and part of our environment。 Third， we should raise peoples awareness to protect animals and our environment。 In this way， we can build a harmonious society and ensure a sustainable development。

今天，我在《中国少年报》里看见了一则新闻，一只海豚让一个聋哑人恢复听力和说话能力。而那只海豚的父母和族群却被人们无情的杀害了。只有它和一只幼豚侥幸逃脱。而那只幼豚在逃脱时也受了重伤，没过几天就不幸死亡。

本来一个好好的族群就只剩下它一个了。也不知它是怎么度过这漫长而又痛苦的日子。但它没有嫉恨人类，而且还帮一个聋哑人恢复听力和说话能力。而我们人类却捕杀动物或乱摘植物。动物、植物是我们最好的朋友，要是我们人类没有它们，我们人类也将难以生存。它们和我们息息相关，它们需要我们的爱护和帮助，而我们也需要他们的帮助，我们怎么可以乱捕杀动物和摘采植物呢，我们一定要爱护它们。
