A Present For Mother’s Birthday

Everyone should give his mother a present when his mother’s birthday is coming. It is 25th May Sunday. Today is Han Mei’s mother’s birthday. So she wanted to give her mother a special present. I went to beijing to play during last summer holiday.

When I was a primary school student, my family and I took a trip to five cities which were in the south of China.

First, we came to Nanjing by plane. That was the first time I had taken the plane and it took us an hour and a half to get there. We arrived in Nanjing in the morning. At 11:30 we went to a restaurant to have lunch. The food tasted delicious. In the afternoon we went to “Zhongshanling”. It was the place that preserve the tomb of Mr. Sugshan.

The next day, we came to Wuxi and then Suzhou where we visited the region of rivers and lakes of “周庄”. It was a beautiful and old place. The house there were along the river and the women always washed clothes at the bank.The fourth day, we came to Hangzhou where We visited “The West Lake. It was very beautiful and the water was clear . As we all know, Hangzhou is famous for silk and tea, so we bought some beautiful silk and famous tea of “龙井”.The last place that we visited was Shanghai. It was one of the biggest city is China. The night view in Shanghai was more beautiful than Beijing. We visited the TV tower of “东方明珠”. It was the third tallest tower in the world. Standing in the tower you could see the whole city. In the evening, we lived in a hotel with 25 floors. I was very excited that evening.

This trip took us seven days and we went back to Beijing by plane. The plane was very very big. There were three engine rooms. I felt happy and I would never forget the trip.

这次，姑丈让我固定喇叭，我便干起活来。刚开始，我用螺丝和螺母固定喇叭时，因为螺丝和螺母太小，老是固定不了它的位置，我干脆坐在那边生闷气。姐姐看我的样子好像又要放弃了，就走到我身边，对我说：“你现在终于知道赚钱不容易吧。打工不能挑三拣四的，还有，干活都要讲究方法，不能遇到一点困难就放弃。”然后，姐姐就教我该怎样做，还说我傻，不懂得借助工具。我按姐姐教的方法，先拿起喇叭，再用螺丝、螺母和工具先固定两个角，总共有四个角，但要固定的两个角要形成对角线，要不一下子就会松了。经过一番努力，我终于做出了一个，看着自己做的第一个作品，很有感触，赚钱真是不容易啊！自己平时那么大手大脚的花钱，真的不应该，每一分钱都是父母的血汗钱，我今后不会再乱花钱啦。平时也要多帮父母做些事。

差不多两个月的暑假打工生活结束了，虽然又苦又累，但对我来说是一种很好的磨炼，是我生命中重要的一课！

Yesterday, after a long meeting in the class, all the students had been told about the safe issues, then the summer vacation finally came.
