我特别讨厌麻绳的臭味，不喜欢麻绳，尤其是烂麻绳。生产队里的豆角、西红柿搭架子都是用这种烂麻绳捆绑。搭架子是轻巧活，生产队长就让老头叔领着我们几个十一二岁的小孩子干。我问老头叔：“干吗不用细铁丝捆架子呢?那不是更结实吗?”老头叔笑笑说：“别看这烂麻绳，搭架子它可能熬过好铁丝呢!你如不信，找铁丝捆几个试试。”我真的去找来铁丝绑了几处。
