冬天的大草坪是无味的，雪一下可就两样了。皑皑的白雪衬托出一个白茫茫的世界，给草们穿上了一件银色的棉袄。这时，我们便到雪地里堆雪人、打雪仗。

记得一次，我们在下面堆雪人，我铲雪，弟弟堆雪，但总是做不好。这时妈妈来了，笑着说：“凡事都要有耐心，不能急躁。”我们要求妈妈也加入了我们的队伍。于是我和弟弟负责铲雪，因为他力气太小，总是不能把雪及时运到，他不满我的责备，就向我发起了进攻，于是我和弟弟玩起了打雪仗，他一个雪球抛过来，我又一个个“子弹”发过去，只见弟弟身上、脸上、头上都是雪，他气得像一个无畏的战士抱着一个雪球“炸弹”向我扑过来……妈妈真不愧是能手，转眼间就堆好了一个高大的雪人。堆好雪人后，妈妈用手指按出雪人大大的眼睛和嘴巴，再用手将雪人的脖子修饰了一下，然后用一根有韧性的枝条当领带，一个帅气十足的雪人就完成了，我们望着雪人，认为这是最杰出的作品，开心的笑了。

童年生活中的那些事犹如繁星一般，有趣而又让我们难以忘怀。我真想把它永远定格在幸福的童年里。

Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

When weekends come, everyone is happy about that, because they don’t need

to work and can do what they want. Some people will choose to stay at home and

watch TV all the time, some will choose to go shopping, while for me, I’d like

to go out. I want to see the different things and refresh my mood. I always make

some plans for my weekend.

Sometimes I will ask my friends to go to watch the movies or we go out for

the gourmet. I like to see movie so much, watching the movie is like reading a

book, my mind will gain things and I will feel satisfied. Eating the delicious

food is the things I will do mostly, I like to find the new food, and ask my
