在我读四年级的时候，外公带我去种花生。一个星期天，外公带我来到乡下老奶奶家。一到乡下外公拿起了锄头，我还小拿不动大锄头，外公就给了我个小锄头，然后他拖着个板车，放上两个蛇皮袋就出发了。来到了地里，外公先教我怎么挖坑，就是要挖个不大不小的坑，我也没注意听。外公见我有些不解，于是就让我播种，这我可来劲了。我在每一个坑里都丢下两个花生米，外公对我说：“毛毛，这边绿树成荫，阳光少，应该放少点。这边阳光好，多放一颗也行。”我点了点头，心想：连种花生都有学问啊！等花生全都种完了，填土工作也完成了。外公和我都累得满头大汗。在回家的路上，我坐在板车上，仰望着无边无际的天空，深深吸了一口气。虽然感觉有点累，但我感觉非常地快乐！因为有了劳动的喜悦！

每年的假期我都会跟着外公去乡下劳动：种花生、摘花生都成了必不可少的劳动项目。外公说参加这些劳动，不仅要让我学会吃苦，更重要的是让我懂得在劳动中学习，从劳动中获得快乐和学会做人的道理。
