The first snow came. How beautiful it was, falling so silently all day

long, all night long, on the mountains, on the meadows, on the roofs of the

living, on the graves of the dead! All white save the river, that marked its

course by a winding black line across the landscape; and the leafless trees,

that against the leaden sky now revealed more fully the wonderful beauty and

intricacies of their branches. What silence, too, came with the snow, and what

We take a holiday of 7 days because of the National Day.As we all

know，October 1 is the National Day of China in Gregorian calendar.

In the holiday I went to visit the Yellow River Forest Park togeter with

three of my classmates.It was very boring when staying in the bus for a long

time，which made me doze off all the time，and at some time，I nearly struck my

head on the chair in the front of me.After two hours journery by bus，we finally

got to the park.But to my disappoint，there was nothing interesting here，except

some quiet normal things. Compared with the my school I stayed in，here was very

noisy and messy.

Though the park is beside the Yellow River，the air is still a little smelly

because there are a lot of animals such as horses，cocks and so on here，which

make lots of wastes every day while few people clean them. In a word，the park is

not so good as I had expected，and I felt unsatisfied about it.

People always say that life cant goes on well all the time, because we

will meet all kinds of difficulties. When we are students, we want to get

improved and do well in the exams. When we graduate and find a job, we need to

finish the task that boss has assigned. Even the time comes to retire, we still

need to find something to do. Setback is part of life, and we should get used to

it. When we face the difficult time, we should consider it as a test for us and

when we get through it, we will gain valuable experience. The pleasure we get

makes us proud.

Because the Spring Festival is the most solemn traditional festival of Chinese folk. In the first month of the summer calendar, also known as the lunar calendar, commonly known as "New Year", "New Year". Every year, the streets are covered with red lanterns and colorful flags. The mall is a sea of people, buying New Year goods, but lively. Grandma prepared a hearty meal, with a lot of "bam, bam, bam" on the outside, and the guns  . I began school at seven in accordance with the law in a remote village. Short of funds, the school had only a few classrooms, all poorly constructed.  to say, our teachers were few, too. As a pupil I preferred the playground to the classroom and often liked to play tricks on girls, as by hiding insects in their desk drawers. On one occasion, I even grimaced behind the back of our teacher, caing the whole class to break into laughter; however, instead of becoming angry, he merely asked why we were laughing and wondered whether there was anything wrong with him. On ather occasion, I punctured the tires of a  parked inside the school by ing something sharppointed, leaving the principal frightened and bewildered after he had ticed that. Such were the happy moments in my life at that school. The happiest moment, to me and to all of my schoolmates, however, was the one when the school was letting out at the last bell of the day and we were rhing home as if we would never be back. Once, on our way home, a bunch of naughty students found a crickets hole and exerted themselves to inject water into it with loud cheers. The girls were  less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.

In order to study for the final test, the first thing I have to do is to reorganize all the notes from the class. Then I will plan my time accordingly, balancing the time for study and rest. Time for entertainment is greatly reduced to make room for more revision. And sleep cannot be neglect since its an important source for energy. Oftenly I will find a quiet corner in the library for study as computers and playstations at home could distract me. I really had a busy and happy winter holiday. I did my homework and helped my parents with the housework every day. My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morningfrom Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head teacher says health is themost important thing. I live with my father and mother in a very big house in Dongguan. My parents are both very busy. They leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

When I am home on weekends from school, we spend a lot of time together. We talk about my studies, my health and my school life. I love my parents very much.

My grandparents are still living, but they don’t live with us. Their health is good and they both do sports very early in the morning. My grandmother does gymnastics with elderly women her age in the park. Both of my grandfathers play basketball in the morning and sometimes they go swimming.
