我想：“用纸巾抹完嘴巴纸巾只能用一次，那一天，会丢弃的多么纸巾，纸巾是用木匠做的，做一包纸巾要砍掉多少树木啊。”想到这里，我再也不买纸巾抹嘴了。也能为环保做贡献。于是，我买了一条手帕抹嘴，手帕是那么雪白，那么软绵绵，那么舒服。抹完叠好放进手包里。一个星期，我就洗一次手帕。

以后，每天洗手帕成了我最开心的事情。每洗一次，我放佛就看到了地球百年的更干净了，每洗一次手帕，我的心就像吃了蜜糖一样甜，每洗一次，污染就减少了。我洗完手帕，啊把他挂在衣架上，让阳光把它晒干之后，我又可以用了，又可以为环保做贡献。

现在，手帕对于我来说：“就像是我形影不离的伙伴一样，它使我变得环保的见证。”

环保，是多么的奇妙啊，有趣啊。一块块小小的手帕，也有这么大的贡献真是太了不起了，我也要像手帕那样为环保做贡献。只要我们多动脑筋，多点观察，多点心思，我没随时随地都可以是一个环保小卫士。

After a long cold winter when I have rarely been out on my bike, the weather has finally turned warmer and even sunny occasionally. Yesterday I had a surprise call from Tom suggesting we turn out for a short ride. This being my intention anyway I gladly agreed and we met up at Jiedaokou Station at about ten o’clock.

As Tom has a permanent Sunday Lunch appointment at 12-30pm we opted to make a round trip to Hannan . The weather was cloudy but dry and as we were both a bit out of condition after a long winter lay off we took the easy option of taking the train to Shiyan to get us on top of the ridge with an easy start for the trip.

A long coast down to Jiangtan and straight on to Mount End saw us climbing up to Zhongshan Park. The climb got stiffer but still Tom kept on riding. Gritting my teeth I followed on and crested the hill, Then the usual Essex switchback with an enforced short walk for both of us part way along saw us at Tawny common. Round the common we went, to the Mole Trap, an erstwhile rough old country pub now tarted up for the motorists. I don’t go in there any more, so we sat on the adjacent public seat for a while and a short natter.

Time enough to break away, Tom to his lunch appointment, me for home by way of theYellow Crane Tower and Changjiang Bridge. See you in a while, crocodile! I arrived home about 2 o’clock. Just in time for my own Sunday lunch .

什么是低碳生活呢?

“低碳生活”(low-carbonlife)，就是指生活作息时所耗用的能量要尽力减少，从而减低碳，特别是二氧化碳的排放量，从而减少对大气的污染，减缓生态恶化，主要是从节电节气和回收三个环节来改变生活细节。

我满头的秀发被人类一天天的剪掉，一天天的剃掉，一天天的薅掉。我渐渐的变成了一个光头强。原来他们在乱砍滥伐，但他们不去种植，造成了大面积水土流失，沙漠趁虚而入，吞没了一望无际的良田，吞没了古老的村庄，吞没了繁华的城市……这样的景象太悲剧了!

我流淌的血液——水，遭到了人类各种废水地污染;我美丽的外衣——大气，遭到了人类各种有害气体地侵蚀;我稚嫩的皮肤——地表，遭到了人类随心所欲地开采……我被人类折磨的遍体鳞伤，生命危在旦夕!

令我欣喜的是，中华人民共和国山西省的省会城市——太原市，近几年发生了翻天覆地的变化，整个龙城太原旧貌换新颜!

汾河——太原市民的母亲河，政府进行了全面治理和改造。清理河道，从南到北，几十公里的河道变得干净通畅了，“汾河流水哗啦啦”的景象又重现了。汾河两岸绿化得特别美丽!一片片高大茂密的树林在这里安家落户;一种种五彩缤纷的花朵在这里含苞绽放;一群群珍稀的水鸟在这里安居乐业……一条碧波荡漾，风光秀丽的生态景观带穿城而过!一座座高楼大厦拔地而起，鳞次栉比，两岸175万平方米的绿化带成了市民游玩健身的乐园!

夜幕降临，成千上万盏装饰灯点亮了汾河两岸。新修的4座横跨汾河的大桥格外壮观，在灯光的装点下，像一条条五彩的巨龙横卧河面。绚丽壮观的景象与日俱增!

恩格斯说：“我们不要过分陶醉于我们对自然界的胜利。对于每一次这样的胜利，自然界都报复了我们。”不是吗？从古猿的出现到现在人类高度发达的文明时代，人类从未停止过向大自然索取，大自然也是“有求必应”，这更滋长了人类的贪欲。他们在地球上大肆砍伐树木，建立化工厂，排污排废……。于是，曾经山青水秀，一片蔚蓝的地球母亲望去已是满目疮痍，污烟瘴气。这怎不叫人寒心呢？

环境污染也使人类自食了苦果，让我们回顾一下历史，看看前人是怎样受到自然的惩罚的，这就是世界八大著名公害事件：

（1）比利时马斯河谷事件：1930年12月，比利时马斯河谷工业区，排放的工业有害废气和粉尘对人体造成综合影响，一周内近60人死亡，市民中心脏病、肺病患者的死亡率增高，家畜死亡率也大大增高。

（2）美国洛杉矶烟雾事件：本世纪40年代美国洛杉矶的大量汽车废气在紫外线照射下产生的光化学烟雾，造成许多人眼睛红肿、咽炎、呼吸道疾病恶化乃至思维紊乱，肺水肿。

（3）美国多诺拉事件：1984年10月，美国宾西法尼亚洲多诺拉镇的二氧化硫及其氧化物，与大气粉尘结合，使大气产生严重污染，造成5911人暴病。

（4）英国伦敦烟雾事件：1952年12月5—8日，英国伦敦由于冬季燃煤引起的煤烟性烟雾，导致4天时间内4000多人死亡，两月后又有8000多人死亡。

（5）日本水俣病事件：1953年--1968年，日本熊本县水俣湾，由于人们食用了含汞污水污染的海湾中富集了汞和甲基汞的鱼虾和贝类及其他水生物，造成近万人的中枢神经疾病，其中甲基汞中毒患者283人中有60余人死亡。

（6）日本四日市废气事件：1961年，日本四日市由于石油冶炼和工业燃油产生的废气，严重污染大气，引起居民呼吸道疾病骤增，尤其是哮喘病的发病率大大提高，形成了一种突出的环境问题。

（7）日本的爱知糠油事件：1963年3月，在日本的爱知县一带，由于对生产米糠油的管理不善，造成多氯联苯污染物混入米糠油，人们食用了这种被污染的油之后，造成13000多人中毒，数十万只鸡死亡的严重污染事件。

（8）日本富山的痛痛病事件：1955年--1977年，生活在 日本富山的人们，因为饮用了含镉的河水和食用了含镉的大米，以及其他含镉事物引起痛痛病，就诊患者258人，其中死亡者达207人。

当然环境问题还不只这些，如乱伐森林、大量排放温室气体等等无一不是人类对自然界的无知而自掘坟墓。的确，环境问题每时每刻地困扰着整个世界。然而，这一幕幕悲剧又是谁一手导演的呢？是人类。当灾难再度落到了人类自己身上，大自然对人类无休止报复时，人类终于觉醒了，明白了环境保护的重要性。人类如果想征服自然，就必须尊重自然。对于改造自然理应慎之又慎，又要大刀阔斧，勇于实践和改良，才能控制自然，使自身利益与自然协调发展。

面对我国严峻的环境问题，我们绝不能重蹈西方发达国家“先污染，后治理”的覆辙。“先污染，后治理”是十分不明智的选择，其治理的代价很高。我们既要加速发展，摆脱环境问题对我国经济的制约，又要贯彻以防为主，防治结合的方针来保护环境。

“勿以善小而不为”，想必大家都明白。保护环境正是从点滴的小事做起，拾起一节被丢弃的电池、回收废品、拒绝使用超薄塑料袋等等，如果每个人都能够做到的话，世界的环境必大有改观。如果你已经做到了，这意味着你已经对保护环境做出了一定的贡献，如果你尚未做到，那么从今天开始坚持做下去，慢慢的，你就会发现，你所做的一切都产生了奇妙的效果。

应对自然气候的恶化，于是人们从日常的行为开始保护地球家园――开始了低碳生活。

吃晚饭时炖肉用的酒精炉烧的是用麦秸等原料制作的生物酒精，电视机也集中到一齐看，有时会因为频道的喜好产生分歧，但为了节约用电，还是透过民主的举手表决方式，少数服从多数来决定。

Recently, we have little time to keep close contact with nature. We spend

too much time on study or working. We almost forget that how green the grass is,

how beautiful the flowers are, and how sweetly the birds are singing outside our

老师您知道吗？记得初一上册，我是一个错单词很多小女孩，有一次您找我谈话，对我教育告诉我记单词的方法，通过和您与我的谈话启发了我，与现在相比我的错单词是越来越少，奥秘也一点一滴积累。老师我谢谢您！

其实每次您布置的作业避免很多。也会遭遇许多同学的默默言辞，但是我明白您是有您的道理的，您也为我们花了不少时光，您也为我们操出了几根银丝。

在我心中有一支永不熄灭的蜡烛，永远燃烧着生命之火，永远都充满着生机与活力，这支蜡烛是不是很像在我们身边的一位很值得我们敬佩的人呢？他在课上给我们讲做人的道理；在课后是我们的益友，如果同学遇到不明白的问题，她还会耐心地教导我们，没错，他就是我们的老师，“蜡烛时刻在提醒着我们，要处处为他人着想。”这也许是老师常说的吧！
