1．话题作文命题的结构

话题作文的命题分三个部分：话题前的材料或提示语、话题、写作要求。材料或提示语用来引出话题，话题提供写作范围，写作要求是对内容、文体、字数等方面提出的具体要求。请看2001年全国高考作文题：

2．话题作文的基本特点

自拟题目、自定立意、自选文体是话题作文的三个基本特点。这三个特点为话题作文的写作提供了广阔的空间。

(1)可以自由地选择自己熟悉的素材，从感受最深的一点出发确立主题，说出自己的心里话。比如“诚信”这个话题，可以围绕历史上有关诚信的故事来写，如古人一诺千金的故事；可以围绕现代社会中与诚信有关的事情来写，如国外的产品召回制度；可以围绕现实中不讲诚信的事情来写，如假冒伪劣产品；可以联系自己身边的事来写，如考试中的作弊问题。同学们请看，在话题作文这种命题形式下，你可写的东西是不是很多呢？可发挥的空间是不是很大呢？

二、话题作文不能忽视审题

话题作文的写作空间很大，降低了审题难度，有些同学就认为话题作文的审题不重要，不需要重视了。其实不然，每次考试话题作文都会有跑题、偏题的文章，而且题目审得好不好对能否写好作文至关重要。审题时我们自然要从话题作文命题的三个部分人手：

1．审话题

审话题要注意两点：审出话题丰富的内涵及审清话题中的限制。

(1)审内涵：有许多话题包含了很丰富的内涵，深刻理解话题内涵，对我们写作话题作文、打开思路有很大的帮助。一般来讲，内涵包括本义和引申义两层。

以话题“珍宝”为例，珍宝的本义指的是珠玉等宝物，如果单从这一点来立意，可写的东西很少；但我们若考虑到“珍宝”的引申义，思路一下子就打开了：对一个国家或一个组织来说，良好的制度是珍宝；对一个单位来说，人才是珍宝；对个人来说，珍宝的含义更是丰富多彩，有人把金钱视为珍宝；有人把时间视为珍宝；有人把品质视为珍宝；有人把事业视为珍宝；有人把家庭视为珍宝；有人把感情视为珍宝；有人把快乐视为珍宝……显而易见，从“珍宝”的引申义来立意，不仅容易写，而且文章还能写得有深度、有新意。

(2)审限制：知道哪些是话题范围以内的，哪些是话题范围以外的，这样我们在写作时才能扣紧话题，避免跑题、偏题。

下面是两条具体的注意事项：

①准确理解话题，才能把写作范围搞清楚。例如话题“诚信”，其含义是诚实守信，我们就不能只写诚实，如果写狼来了这种故事，或写同学犯错误后大胆承认显然就偏离了题意。

②抓住话题中的关键词语，有助于理解话题。例如话题“战胜自己”，其关键词是“自己”，我们就不能写成战胜困难，比如写做实验时缺乏器材，同学们如何在老师的指导下自制器材，终于战胜了困难，这样写无疑就跑题了。

2．审材料或提示语

认真审读话题前的材料或提示语，有助于我们理解话题和打开思路。

比如一道作文题目“偶像”，话题前有这样一段材料：

人们往往崇拜自己不熟悉的人和远离自己的人，因为这会有一种神秘感。而神秘感一旦消失，崇拜的情绪就可能淡化。

正所谓万事开头难，不过只要开了个好头，这篇作文就会很好写了。

说明文的特点是说，而且具有一定的知识性。这种知识，或者来自有关科学研究资料，或者是亲身实践、调查、考察的所得，都具有严格的科学性。为了要把事物说明白，就必须把握事物的特征，进而揭示出事物的本质属性，即不仅要说明是什么，还要说明为什么是这样。应用性说明文一般只要求说明事物的特征，阐述性说明文则必须揭示出问题的本源和实质。 说明文是客观地说明事物的一种文体，目的在于给人以知识：或说明事物的状态、性质、功能，或阐明事理。《中国石拱桥》属于前者，它以赵州桥和卢沟桥为例说明中国石拱桥不但形式优美，而且结构坚固的特征。《大自然的语言》属于后者，文章科学地说明了物候学知识。说明事物特点和阐明事理是说明文的两种类型。

三、 说明文的常用说明方法及作用

1、说明的方法有：下定义,作诠释,举例子,列数字,打比方,作比较,分类别,引资料,摹状貌,做图表 2、明白各种方法的作用。

举例子：这里使用了举例子的说明方法，具体说明了 这种说明方法的作用是使说明的对象具体形象，便于读者理解。

作比较：这里拿和作比较，突出(具体)说明了 作比较用于突出强调被说明对象的特点(地位、影响等)。

列数字：这里使用了列数字的说明方法，准确说明了 (列举了的数字，准确说明了)其作用是使说明准确无误，令读者信服。

分类别：分类别的作用是使说明条理清楚。

打比方：它的主要作用是使说明对象生动形象，增强文章的趣味性。

作诠解：用于解释被说明内容的成因及内在联系。

下定义：其作用是科学准确地解释说明对象的内涵，使说明更严密。

画图表：可使说明内容直观形象。

摹状貌：使说明生动形象，使文章更具可读性。

3、有时说明文借用其他修辞手法来帮助说明，这些手法的作用分析应当紧紧围绕说明对象，依照说明文的要求。

四、 如何写好说明文

如何使说明文物理并重、形神兼备的呢?首要的一点是观察。说明文写作的前提是对要说明的事物非常熟悉。要做到这一点，就要养成认真观察、深入了解的习惯：

观察要有针对性。要带着问题观察，而不是走马观花、浮光掠影。最好能在观察前列出观察提纲，观察时要记笔记、画图标。要善于提出问题。

观察时要分清主次。这就要求我们注意观察的顺序。观察有概括性观察和特写性观察之分。前一种方法有助于抓住事物的概貌，后者则利于把握观察对象的细节和特征。由概括到特写、由全局到局部，是观察的一般原理。

观察重在事物的形。要想传神，写出事物的内涵、原理等，则需要有很好的查阅资料、作调查的能力。比如我们要写一篇文章来说明洛阳牡丹。在写好它的形状、颜色、品种之外，如果能够考察一下洛阳牡丹的来历、其中的牡丹名品在培育中的科学原理，这篇文章就会有说服力，使读者更深刻地认识到洛阳牡丹的文化特色。这就要求我们具备相当的知识积累、广阔的知识面和优秀的调查能力。作为小学生，应当从小注重积累知识和调查能力的训练。比如通过剪报、记笔记、上图书馆和阅览室等途径来有意识地训练自己。

写作说明文还要注意说明的顺序。有合理的顺序，文章才能条理清晰，让人看得明白。说明顺序一般有三种，即空间顺序、时间顺序、逻辑顺序。间顺序一般有从上到下、从左到右、从前到后、从远到近等。时间顺序一般有从古到今、从过去到现在等。逻辑顺序有从现象到本质、从原因到结果、从主要到次要、从整体到部分、从概括到具体等。什么是合理的顺序呢?这要根据人们认识事物的过程以及说明对象本身的特征、规律而定。说明事物的形状、构造等，往往以空间为顺序;说明事物的成因、方法，往往以时间为顺序;说明事物的事理，往往以逻辑关系为顺序。

当然，大多数说明文会综合使用多种说明顺序。因此，在写作时，我们要合理地安排好说明顺序，理清说明文的结构层次。常用的结构层次有并列式、层进式和总分式三种。比如我们以水为题目进行写作，可以先写水的外形特征，再写水的分类，然后写水的用途，这是并列式的写作层次。我们也可以先写水的外形，再写水的成因，最后写水给人类带来的利与害，这是层进式的结构层次。先概括水的用途和特征，再一一细述，就是总分式。结构层次能力需发同学们在长期的写作过程中培养。

第二段：分2-3点说为什么他强壮。1. 每天吃10顿饭，He has ten mealseveryday!详举吃的是什么。2. 每天运动2小时，He does exercise 2 hours a day!详举做了什么运动。

第三段：经过第二段的论证，可以得出结论。但请注意，不能完全照抄第一段，要有升华。也可以提出希望和建议等。如，Howstrong and robust XQ is!I hope to be him one day!

逻辑：这里的逻辑实际指的就是逻辑词。最常用的就是表示递进的，转折的，总结的逻辑词等。递进：除了first，second，third，finally等还可以使用高级点的，如first of all(首先)，in addition，whatsmore，moreover(都是另外的意思)，in a word，all inall(表示总结的)。转折：but，yet，however等。真正有经验的阅卷老师会很注意这些逻辑连接词，因为这些词体现了这个文章的思路。

语法：其他几点都不是硬性的要求，不那样做不能说是错，只能说是不好，但是语法却是硬性的。如，单词的使用，时态等。

亮点：当我们将前八个字都做得很完美的时候也只能得到一个二等文的上。要想得到一等文，最后两个字，亮点至关重要。大家设想如果我们是阅卷老师。有两篇写人美丽的作文摆在我们面前，都是结构清晰的三段式，要点都很全，都用了一些逻辑词，都没有语法错误，但是A篇只用了beautiful，good-looking，B篇却用到了attractive，charming，catching等，我坚信正常人都会给B篇高分的。这些高级一点的词汇，词组，句型便是我们得到一等文的最有力的绝招。所以，以后写英语作文要养成一般词汇限量用的好习惯。
