这本书的作者是罗尔德·达尔。在达尔小时候，他并不喜欢学校，因为学校里的老师会因为他弄坏钢笔尖，向同学借个笔尖而将他痛打一顿，所以他异常自卑。但好在达尔的学校旁边有一座巧克力工厂。那儿经常会送巧克力给孩子们品尝，并请他们提意见。于是，这成了他唯一的乐趣。所以在达尔长大之后，抱着对当时学校边那座巧克力工厂的向往，写下了这本香香浓浓的《查理与巧克力工厂》。

这本书的主要内容是这样的：在贫穷的小男孩查理生活的小镇上有一个全世界最大的巧克力工厂，从来没有人进出。有一天，工厂主人威利·旺卡先生发出告示，他在五块巧克力包装纸中藏有金奖券，得到它们的孩子就能参观工厂。查理幸运地得到了金奖券。最后，查理通过自己良好的品质，成为了巧克力工厂的继承人。

在这个工厂中，有许多让人叹为观止的发明：供夜间在床上吃的发光硬糖；给说话说得太多的父母吃的黏嘴糖；供上课时吃的隐形巧克力糖……难得的是，这本书中居然没有反派成年人，而是形成了查理与另外四个获得金奖券的小孩的性格对立。为了突出另外四个小孩的缺点，达尔的描写也是夸张到了极致：例如奥古斯塔斯·格卢普的缺点是太贪吃，所以文中说：“照片上是个九岁小男孩，胖得像用强力打气筒打足了气一样。他浑身都是鼓出来的松软肥肉，脸像一个大面团，上面有两个小葡萄干似的贪婪眼睛窥视着外面的世界。唯奥利特·博雷加德的缺点是爱嚼口香糖。“我不能没有他。我整天嚼口香糖，除了吃饭时的几分钟，我会把它从嘴里拿出来，为了安全地放好，我把它贴在我的耳朵后面。……”

对于这些坏孩子，达尔的惩罚也是不失幽默。贪吃鬼格卢普悄悄溜到巧克力河边，用双手捧起热巧克力溶液大喝特喝，喝得要多快有多快。因为伸出去太远，他掉进了河里。你以为他会淹死吗？不，达尔安排了一根大玻璃管吸住了他。随后，他像一个鱼雷飞快地升了上去。现在，可以去草莓牛奶巧克力夹心软糖车间把它打捞出来了。

德国大诗人歌德说过；“读一本好书，就等于和一位高尚的人对话。”我非常喜欢读书，其中我最喜欢的一本书是《小故事，大道理》。

这本书的内容十分丰富，它用一个个令人回味无穷的故事向人们阐述了很多道理。我觉得它像一位无声的老师，在潜移默化中，告诉我们在课堂上学不到的知识，教育我们该怎样做人做事；我又觉得它像一场温暖的春雨，轻柔地冲刷掉我心灵上的污渍，使我成为一个品格纯洁的人。总而言之，读了《小故事，大道理》这本书，我真是受益非浅。

其中一个小故事讲的是美国前总统罗斯福家失盗，被偷去了许多东西，当朋友安慰他时，他却说：“谢谢你的关心，我很好，感谢上帝：因为第一贼偷去的是我的东西，而没有伤害我的生命；第二，贼只偷去我的部分东西，而不是全部；第三，最值得庆幸的是，做贼的是他，而不是我”。对任何人来说，失窃是件不幸的事，而罗斯福却找出三条感恩的理由。看了这个小故事，我感到非常汗颜。

在这之前，我常常为自己过重的学习负担而烦恼，羡慕爸爸妈妈小时侯作业少，学习轻松，没有没完没了的考试，不用弹琴唱歌。甚至当爸爸妈妈告诉我，他们小时侯放学后要出去割草，洗衣，农忙时要下田帮大人干活时，我都满不在乎地说，我不愿意现在这么辛苦地学习，宁愿和你们小时侯一样干活。可当我看完这个故事，换一种思路再来看待两代人的学习和生活时，我却为自己是生长在这个时代而感到幸福。

现在的我虽然学习任务重了一点，可我想吃什么都有，想穿什么都有，出门有汽车，天热有空调，无聊可以看电视，和同学打电话。弹琴唱歌虽然辛苦了，可我学到了很多本领，当同学们羡慕我歌唱得好时，我不都应该感谢父母培养了我，给了我机会吗？从此以后，我也要学罗斯福一样感恩社会，知足自己的现状，笑迎充满希望的明天。

我能换一种思维来热爱我的学习，我的生活，都是这本书的功劳。整本书，三百多个小故事，简单地阐明了三百多个浅显的道理，我将不断用这些道理来指导我的学习，鞭策我的人生。

读书是一项能让我们的知识大门开动起来的一项爱好，这项爱好是要静心的同学才能学好的。

我家里除了有学校读的书外，还有很多课外书。在我的房间里有个书柜，上面放着以前学的语文和数学，还有很多的著名作者的书。如：鲁迅，朱自清，苏轼等。只要我有时间，我就会随便拿一本书来看一看。

有一次，我看妈妈闲着，就帮妈妈买了一本小说，妈妈接过书，津津有味地看了起来，过了好一会儿，妈妈不知不觉中就看到了第三页，在妈妈正准备看第四页的时候，妈妈突然遇到了她不的字，妈妈就把字典拿来查查，但她翻了好久都不找到她不认识的字，我走去看了看说：“妈妈，是不是有字不认识呀，让我来看看。”“哦，原来是这个字呀，它读曳?yè?”

你们可别小看读书，它的知识可多着呢！每读一篇文章，就会增加新的知识，而且还可以积累许多好的句子和成语。

今天，我向同学介绍一本好书，书名是 《小幽默，大道理》。这本书会让你在幽默中学到很多道理和知识，如：有一对兄弟，弟弟在中国，哥哥在美国，哥哥想邀请弟弟到美国来玩，可是弟弟不会说英语，他到了美国后，哥哥告诉他：“不管别人问你什么，只要回答也斯就行了。”

一天，弟弟一个人去看拳击比赛，他坐在第一排，拳击比赛打完后，拳击选手问弟弟，要不要和他打一场，弟弟不知道他说的是什么，想起哥哥告诉他的话，就回答也斯。于是被拳击选手痛打了一顿。回到家后，哥哥问他：“你怎么被打成这样？”弟弟就把事情经过告诉了哥哥。哥哥就又告诉弟弟：“不管别人你什么，你就回答诺。”

第二天，弟弟又去看拳击比赛，拳击选手看到他，问他，上次打得还过不过瘾？弟弟就说诺，于是又被痛打了一顿。作文

从这个故事中，我明白了这些道理：如果你要到国外去，就必须要学会那国的语言，不要像故事中的弟弟一样。
