“书是人类进步的阶梯。”书可以让我开阔视野，思想升华。在书的海洋中，我可以津津有味的品尝书的大餐。正如德国的著名诗人歌德说过：“读一本好书，就是和许多高尚的人谈话。”在“书”的家里，真是特舒服、特自在、特温暖。

在我的书架上，有着许多本书籍，其中最抢眼的一本，叫做《伊索寓言》。名字虽没有什么闪亮之处，可内容却不同凡响。故事里的内容小巧、精悍，情节生动、寓意深刻。讲述了一个个深奥的哲理，告诉人们一个个受益匪浅的道理。书里面不是死板的人物，而是一个个的动物，活灵活现、栩栩如生的展现在人们的眼前。帮助我们如何识别善恶美丑，如何防止上当受骗，为我们敲响了警钟，所以我非常喜欢这本书。

给我印象最深刻的故事是《放羊的孩子》。牧童数次大叫“狼来了”，欺骗村民，当“狼真的来了的时候。”谁也没有办法去帮助他。他让我明白：一贯说谎的人即使说了真话，也没有人会相信他。一个经常用谎话欺骗和戏弄他人，最终也只能是伤害自己。

《伊索寓言》是人类文明史上的一座丰碑。它的内容十分丰富，题材相当广泛。
