他制作了一艘小木船，把船上的粮食、工具、制作帐篷的帆布竿从船上一一运了下来，并把他们放入帐篷里，以备以后不时之需，他还养了一只山羊，作为食物的来源，还养了猫和狗来把自己一个人在孤岛上的寂寞和恐惧减少了一些。之后，他还用工具打了一个山洞，在里面做了家具。

“砰”一声巨响，紫岚紧抱着老雕坠落在阴暗而又荒凉的石滩上。紫岚处在老雕的下方，它的脊背先落地，正好砸在尖尖的岩石角上，所有的肋骨都被折断了，心脏也停止了跳动，但四条狼爪仍紧紧地拥抱着老雕。

看到这一幕，我的心像蜘蛛网般复杂交错，思绪有点儿混乱。鲜血像流水般淌在我眼前，是那样凄惨，那样悲壮！紫岚为了黑桑，为了女儿，为了子孙，它不得不这样做，不得不牺牲自己，换就要出生的幼崽们的平安，不让黑仔的悲剧重临于自己的子孙身上。这一幕，我为紫岚感到不平，它付出了这么多——容貌、时间、精力……到头来却是竹篮打水一场空，枉费了它多年倾注在孩子们身上的心血，理想总以失败告终。也不禁使我对它产生了怜悯。
