这一刻，我相信灾区人民在全国人民的帮助下，一定能够从灾难中站起来，重建美好的家园。

That was a morning in the early of June. I took a bus to my school in the suburb which was surrounded by rice paddies and ponds. The sky was gray with the gloomy clouds congregating gradually along the far eastern horizon. "There must be a heavy rain soon." I spoke to myself.

When I hurried into the classroom, the sky, gray before, was shrouded now by black clouds, darken to twilight, I felt quite stuffy, while it was quite calm, without wind. 升入三年级，我们新开设了一门课程是英语。

第一次上课时的情景让我记忆犹新。课前，我和我的同学们一起讨论“英语课学什么内容呢？”话音刚落，铃声就响了。我们迅速座好等待英语老师的到来，老师一进门，我就觉得教室里的气氛和往常不同，静得连一根针掉下去的声音都听得见。是因为第一次上英语课吗？

我们的英语老师有一头乌黑亮丽的头发，眼睛大大的，个子不高也不矮，但是整个人却很有精神。她教我们学的第一个词是“ms 刘”，有很多同学都不知道什么意思，老师马上翻译过来跟我们说“这个词的意思是刘女士或是刘老师”。随后英语老师就开始讲述第一节英语课。

她先给我们讲了讲英语单词，但是我听的一头雾水，整节课也是云里雾里的，什么都没听懂。放学后我带着英语课本来到校门口等待妈妈来接我回家，妈妈来到校门口笑着说：“你怎么带着英语课本啊？”“我没有听懂老师讲的英语。”刚说完我的眼泪就在眼眶里打转。

回到家妈妈给我打开录音让我跟着读，可还是没有听懂。然后就着急得趴在桌子上哭了起来。妈妈跟我说：“别着急，等你哥哥放学回来教教你。”话音刚落哥哥便打开门大叫一声：“我回来了！”把我逗得笑了起来。哥哥看我脸上还挂着泪珠，便问我怎么回事，我跟哥哥说了原因之后哥哥跟我说：“没事，走，我教你去！”然后我就跟着哥哥来到我的房间开始教我英语。

哥哥一边开着玩笑一边鼓励并教我学习英语，这让我觉得英语没有那么枯燥无味，使我对它充满了兴趣。经过哥哥的耐心指导让我学会了老师之前所讲的那些内容并且预习了后面一个单元，这使我觉的英语并没有想象中的那么难。

哥哥对我的鼓励，让我信心倍增，从那时起我就更努力地，上课专心的听讲，课后细心的做练习、听录音，所以现在的英语还挺不错的呢。

“叮铃铃，叮铃铃 ，校园里传来动听的上课铃，同学们纷纷地跑进教室，有的在喝水，有的在做课前准备，还有的已经在班里读课文，我们班英语老师米思包慢慢地走进教室，米思包说：“今天上表演课。”大家都欢呼起来说：“太好了，上表演课了。”我们组表演G部分的唱歌跳舞，我们带好组长做的头饰来到讲台。

The Cause of fire

As we all know, fire is one of the most terrible killers in our modern society.We know that fire is mainly caused by smokers, followed by defective insulations and children playing with matches.In 2002 ,thousands of fire happened all over the country, of which 50 percent was caused by smokers who left cigarette-ends everywhere.Those who smoke should make sure that the cigarettes are stubbed out before being thrown away.Also, smoking should not be allowed in public places.30 percent of fire was caused by defective insulation. Workers should know the importance of good insulation for people’s lives.At homes we must pay special attention to electric wires and make sure that they are safe.20 percent of fire are caused by children playing with matches. No matter what type of the reason it was, there was one thing in common:carelessness.So if everyone in the country is careful enough, more fire could be avoided.

我们从长城脚下往上爬，长城并不像我想象的那样陡峭，而是由许多缓坡连接起来，在比较陡的地方都筑有阶梯，阶梯的两旁和中间还装有扶手，一点儿也不难爬。长城上人山人海，还有许多“老外”呢!在不知不觉中，我们已经爬到了第一个烽火，这里让我想起了“烽火戏诸侯”的故事。过了烽火台，我们又继续向上攀登，在山间云雾里，我隐隐约约看见对面的山上有用钢板做成的“同一个世界，同一个梦想”的标语牌。接着往上爬，我们看到了一座碉楼，爸爸说：“这是哨塔，古代哨兵就在这里放哨。”过了哨塔，我们就往回走，来到了“好汉碑”。好汉碑上有毛主席的题词——不到长城非好汉。我们全家在这儿留了个影，便回家了。

I have many friends, but Jim is one of my best friends. He is not handsome, but kind-hearted. We know each other at primary school. He was the tallest in our class at that time. He is good at study and playing basketball, while bad at playing table tennis. Everytime he has delicious food, he will give it to me. Before I always dont like reading, every time my mother told me to read a book I was perfunctory, the teacher told me to read that is compelling.clients, classmate called me to read more goofing off. But this summer vacation I began to like reading books.
