I will have a seven-day holiday next week. In these days, I have many things to do. First, I must finish the exercises left by teachers, Chinese, math and English. It may take me two days to finish. I plan finish them in the first and second day. And then, I will go to see my grandparents with mom and dad. I miss them very much. So do they. I will stay there for three days. With the development of living standards, going out to have a tourism is becoming a part of our life. But at the same time, uncivilized behaviors in tourism are frequently happening. So cultural tourism has became a hot topic in the society.

I went to the home for the aged with my friends on July 30th. As soon as the eldly people saw us, they were all happy. 1.We sang songs and danced for them. 三、培养一项课余爱好和特长。我们学校有很多的孩子有自己的特长和爱好，比如舞蹈、器乐、绘画、英语等等，这些孩子的课余兴趣不光陶冶的自己的情操，学习了一项本领，同时也丰富了我们的校园文化生活，你看，每当我们演出节目的时候，都少不了他们的身影，你瞧：郜清君的古筝弹的多好啊，张献文和张龙的拉丁跳的像模像样的，范雨欣的电子琴都考到九级了，而孙开心的二胡和绘画简直就可以办一个个人特长展了。看着他们在舞台上精彩自信的表现，真让人羡慕啊！所以，利用好假期这个时间，争取父母的同意选择自己喜欢的一项业余爱好，着重培养，争取带给大家不一样的惊喜。

四、读书。假期是个难得的读书机会，时间那么宽裕，心情那么悠闲，我们一定要好好读几本书，读几本好书。每个语文老师都要为本班的孩子们制定一个读书的计划，计划读什么书，怎样写读书笔记，如何和大家交流沟通读书的心得，让孩子们的假期在书香弥漫中度过。

五、出游。如果条件允许的话，建议孩子们和父母一起有一次出游的机会，读万卷书不如行万里路，出门可以增长见识，去亲身体验祖国的壮丽山河秀丽的风景，体验风俗人情，去爬爬山，去大海里游泳，去博物馆看看，走一走山间小道，坐一坐飞机渡轮。旅游，是一种亲近自然放松身心的方式，也是学习实践的机会。

六、学习。学习在两个月的假期是不能丢掉的，我们要做暑假作业，要复习以前学习过的知识，有机会能预习一下新学期将要学习的内容更好，养成写日记的习惯，把假期的见闻都记录下来。整理自己的学习笔记和书籍，以便好好保存，为新学期奠定一个好的基础。

七、其他。坚持锻炼身体，不让睡懒觉成为习惯；可以多交几个朋友，包括网友，聊一聊学习和生活；帮父母做一些力所能及的事情，自己的衣服要自己洗，自己的房间要自己整理。不乱花零钱，有机会可以勤工俭学，或者尝试着给父母“打工”、收集废品积攒零用钱。

what he like.Last Sunday, Jack had a relaxing Sunday. He got up 6 o’clock. After

breakfast, Jack played basketball with his friends. They were very happy. Then

Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
