In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. Protecting the Environment

With the improvement of our living standard, more and more people can afford a car. As a result, our roads are more often than not crammed with cars. 我马上是六年级学生了，我学到了很多独立生活的技能，所以，我决定在假期里面做父母的好帮手。放假第一天，等到爸爸妈妈上班一出门，我便开始“行动”起来了……说干就干，我先端来一盆温水，再把家里人换下的脏衣服全部找出来，放在盆里，然后在水盆里撒一些洗衣粉，让脏衣服浸泡十分钟后再洗。接着我拿来搓板，先捞起自己的小衣服搓洗，这个时候我才发现平时自己太不注意了，自己的衣服实在是太脏了。我找到最脏的地方一遍又一遍地搓、洗，手掌都有些发麻、发疼，过了一会儿终于洗干净了，我拧干水分，把这件衣服放进另一个脸盆。最难洗的要算爸爸、妈妈的衣服了，因为他们的衣服太大了，泡在水里又大又重，洗得我满头大汗，汗水将衣服都湿透了。最后我费了九牛二虎之力，脏衣服总算洗完了。所有的衣物清洗干净后，我吃力地把它提到了阳台上，看着挂满阳台的衣服，我满意地笑了，第一件“大事”终于大功告成。

我赶忙拿出了一个盆，三个西葫芦，七个鸡蛋，擦子和两碗白面。我拿起削蔬菜的小刀，把三个西葫芦的皮一片一片的削了下来，又拿刀把削好皮的西葫芦切成两半，把里面的籽用手挖出来。接着，我拿起擦子一下一下的把西葫芦擦成丝，最后，把擦好的西葫芦丝放进盆里。该放鸡蛋了，我把鸡蛋在盆沿儿上先磕一下，然后把鸡蛋壳掰开，把鸡蛋倒进装着西葫装订线芦的盆里，再往里撒一勺半盐，剁了几片葱花沫放进盆里，用筷子搅拌均匀。咦，好像还少点什么？对，还得放面呢。我看了看表，呀！11点半了，爸爸妈妈马上就要回来了。我拿起那两碗面，把他们往盆里迅速地到了进去，一些面粉飞到了空中，落在了我的胳膊上，落在了我的脸上。我也顾不上擦，赶快用筷子把盆里的面和原有的糊搅拌均匀，像半盆又有菜又有面的糊，我把鼻子凑近盆边，有一股淡淡的清香。

打开煤气灶，放上平底锅，倒上油，不一会儿，油热了，我把搅拌好的面糊，用大勺盛了两勺，放进烧好油的锅里，用铁铲儿把在锅里的面糊抹成一个像饼铛一样大小薄厚均匀的圆饼，过了两、三分钟，把饼翻了一个，让它原来上面那面冲下，下面那面冲上，烤过的饼变成了焦黄色散发着浓郁的香味让人垂涎欲滴。我想：鸡蛋能补充充足的蛋白质，西葫芦能补充丰富的维生素，他们吃完后，身体会更健康。又过了大约两三分钟，一张饼熟了。大约二十分钟过去了，我已经烙熟了好多张饼。

Ever since colleges started to charge the students for the education they receive, there has always been a problem for some students, especially for those from remote rural regions, to get the money for it. So the government offers them an option of borrowing money from banks. Surveys show that the number of students financing his education in this way is increasing.

When we watch the TV series, there is always the similar plot, in order to fulfill the dreams, the protagonist give up the best time for the treatment, though they are seriously ill. This sounds so inspiring, the spirit of pursuing the dreams moves so many audiences, but for me, besides moved, I feel more sorry about the protagonists, for their unwise choices. Life is important, only the living person can have the rights to talk about the dreams, if they lose their lives, everything is impossible. So health is more important than dreams, people need to keep themselves healthy first, and then they can better fulfill their dreams. The wise person will choose to get the treatment and give up the dreams for a while, when they recover, they continue their dreams. So health first, then other things rank second.

Im in my third year now in Environmental Sciences. And what do I want to do with my B.S. once I graduate? Become a librarian. Yes, I know it sounds completely random and unrelated, but thats my master plan. Right now Im preparing for all those crazy grad school applications that Ill be sending in next fall. I began thinking about what kind of skills I have and what kind of jobs would complement my natural interests. Ive thought about becoming a librarian dozens of times growing up but for some strange reason, I never took it seriously. But it popped back into my mind as I was contemplating all this. So I began to do some research and I also talked to a lot of family and friends. Its crazy because everyone I shared with gave me a lot of affirmation and encouragement about pursuing it! If theres anything you can get out of my strange journey I hope its the comfort and reassurance that you dont always have to know what you want to do in the near future. And its okay to change majors or even pursue a major that may not necessarily be related to your future career. You should enjoy what youre studying. But also seek after what you really love.

我经常想：难道，网络上没有绿色可言了吗？直到有一天，我认识了一个叫可馨的女孩，她说： 网络不一定都是不健康的，只是看你的心是否健康罢了。 当我听到这句话时，我不禁受到了启发：原来网络不单单只有负面影响，也有正面教导！

那天，我正在像以往那样上网、聊天。突然电脑蹦出一个网站，上面说：无论谁都必须要树立正确的 三观 。我一下来了兴趣：哪三观呢？于是我接着往下看： ①正确的世界观。世界观是对这个物质世界的总的根本的看法。有不少同学有些迷信：比如根据所谓的 星座 八字 、血型等确定自己的 幸运数字 、 幸运颜色 ，有的甚至用这些东西来推算自己某次考试是否顺利，有的同学认为考试前洗头是不吉利的，会使自己什么也想不起来，这些想法有的同学也表现在作文中，并且表现出一种确信的态度，这就不恰当。

②正确的人生观。人到底应该为什么活着？不同的人会有不同的答案。古代儒家有一种观点：穷则独善其身，达则兼济天下。还有很多种关于人生的说法，但不外乎这样两点：一是使自己的人生更充实、更美好，二是使他人的生活更美好。人生观符合真善美标准的，就应该是健康的，而一味地强调自己的利益，一味强调自己的索取，如人生的最大目的就是赚大钱等都是不健康的思想。

Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

Here is the bright side of my university life: Firstly, Equipment of my university is advanced and teacher team is powerful. There is an advanced library that owns all kinds of books. So we can acquire a lot of knowledge from my university. Secondly, all sorts of lectures are given on campus. We can learn much knowledge that is interesting. Thirdly, my

campus activities are rich and colorful. Such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and dancing parties provide opportunities to make friends. In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in

activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.

It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my

classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time

but do not know what to do. However, from my point of view, the campus life in

college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful.

In the first semester in college, I didnt relax and I still worked hard as

I was in the senior school. I usually spent two hours in study at night and I

went to the classroom forautonomous learning.But the difference is that I have

many extracurricular activities. For example, I went to the English Corner

regularly on Tuesday night, in which I could practice my spoken English and make

friends with common interests.

Besides, I join the Student Union of my department. In the Student Union, I

have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other.

Actually, it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together.

During various activities, I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us

go further.

Finally, college is great stage to improve a student and show ones

abilities. In college, I know more about our society and get more channels to

explore the outside world. I realize that I am not only a student but also an

adult who is preparing to step into the society.

In short, I cherish my life in college campus and I will try hard to make
