How to adapt youself to college life

There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.

However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Moreover he should take active part in collective activities and make more communication with classmates and teachers. It will help he be smoothly integrated with your new environment. Besides,as to study,he should develop a good habit of self-teaching and learn to arrange study independently. Of course,it may take a freshman some while to become accustomed to the study and life in college. However, we all have to accept constant challenges of new things in our life. In the past three years， Im always the top ten students in my class. I have passed the CET4 and CET6 with a high scores and also won the first prize scholorship in 214. My Views on Environmetal Protection

Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. People are forced to wear the mask to avoid breathing poisonous air. Some people think it is impossible to solve the problem,however,from my opinion,if we find out the reason and take effective measures the environment can be better.

If we trace the cause for haze weather,the main points are as follows,first,our countrys air quality standards are rather lax and evaluation factors are limited,so you will see that current air appraisal system has defects. Second,some people just go for economic interests instead of turning out products according to relevant law and regulations. They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. To sum up,if we work together to take out such measures,our environment will get better and better and haze weather will vanish completely.

Thanksgiving Day is coming, I have a lot of people to thank, thank my

grandpa, grandma, father, mother, teacher, classmates...

First of all, I would like to thank my grandpa and grandma, "thank you,

They just want to do something exciting to escape the problem what they faced. On the other hand, college life is more flexible. Students could choose various ways to study. If they can’t make good use of time wisely, the result is that they will get lost. Students give up easily and can’t behold on consistently and persistently.

On the fourth Thursday of November, Thanksgiving Day, I made an envelope on

As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and

comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in

university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college

life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library

and the others.

Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is the

priority in college. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knew

clearly that what I should do. So I make up my mind to study hard and pursue

learning as much as possible. I’m greatly convinced that knowledge can change my

life. Therefore, I often go to the quiet study room where many people study

there. By working so hard, I get good grades in the exams.

Secondly, student activities play an important role in our college life. To

be honest, the student Union is a good place where one can develop social

skills, get his abilities trained. I take part in many student activities. For

example, I’ m a volunteer, teaching the kids to learn to dance and write. I

think it’s meaningful for everyone to give a hand to others. I can also do some

jobs in the Student Union, including receiving and sending fast mail, selling

papers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettable and worthwhile experiences

for me.

Thirdly, I also visit the library constantly. It’s said that “shelves of

books, oceans of knowledge”, so I read books that I’m interested in. In this

way, I can share stories with my new friends and it also changes my horizons

.When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying the library makes me quiet and

comfortable. After all, every life has bad moments as well as good ones, and the

library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay

in the library.

Finally, I often do other things in my spare time. In order to alleviate

parents’ burden, I often do some part-time jobs and write some articles to earn

money. It helps me to be independent and improve my social skills.

In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. You can see that

study brings me knowledge, student activities improve myself, library changes my

horizons, the others things make me independent. They get all my abilities

trained. And I see that the chance will come only if you have a prepared mind,

so I’m sure that I can achieve my dreams in college life.

今天下午姜校长给我们讲了心理健康的讲座，其中讲了宽容和自信共3个小故事其中让我们感受最深了的是这个故事:有一个老禅师寺里有很多和我们差不多大的小和尚，他们都喜欢夜里翻墙出去玩。一天老禅师吃完晚饭出来散步。他看见一个凳子，不用说这一定是用来翻墙用的。

于是，老禅师把凳子拿开自己蹲在放凳子那里。不久，小和尚回来了，不知不觉就踏着老禅师的背下来了。小和尚的心害怕极了!因为他怕老禅师骂他责罚他。而老禅师的一句话出乎了所有人的意料。老禅师和蔼地说:夜里太冷了不要再出去了快回去吧!小和尚惭愧极了!从此以后小河在也不出去了。

这篇故事告诉我学会宽恕退一步，海阔天空，让三分，心平气和。可是同学之间不经意的一下就会动手动脚。就像我今天用废纸叠了一个小外衣。我的同桌把它弄坏了我就破口大骂。可见如果人人都会忍让世界会美妙无比。

2015年12月19日大学英语四级考试继续沿用多题多卷形式，写作作文所占分值比例为15%，话题方面主要考查考生根据所提供的信息和命题考查对题目的理解和写作能力，本次考试本质要求无大变化。

本次四级写作考试作文类型：人生哲理类，话题方面均强调树立积极乐观向上、正面努力的观点的重要性，话题密切联系现实，具有一定教育启示意义。按题目要求写相应的内容是保证不跑题的方法。

此次作文，依旧没有考察“热点”的“环境、文化、网络”等大话题，而是“平民草根、接地气”的人生哲理类，三个题目在今年的考试当中有以下几个特点：

第一，易审题，延续了上一次四级写作考试“反押题”的倾向。

之前我们可能会去了解了宏观的大话题，这次考试题目预测和之前的准备有所出入。作文的主题非常开放而明显，基本上不存在跑题的问题，所有考生均可表达自己的观点。

第二，重语言，主题明确，考生比拼的就是“语言质量”本身。

一篇不再“假大空”的文章，注定不需要使用太多“大而华丽的空洞语言、口号语言”，而在于考生能否灵活运用一些基础词汇和固定表达，写出语法正确、语言流畅的文章。同学们比拼的是驾驭英语语言本身的能力，对词汇、语法、固定句型套用的熟练程度和精采程度。

有专家预测：21世纪心理疾病将严重危及青少年的身心健康。世界卫生组织近年来对许多国家的调查研究证明，在全世界的人口中，每时每刻都有1/3左右的人有这样或那样的心理问题。在中国，最新一次全国4～16岁少年儿童心理健康调查发现，中国儿童的心理和行为问题的发生率高达13.9%。有关部门还对中、小学生做了一次抽样调查，结果发现，中学生中有2/5左右的孩子有不同程度的心理障碍。这些数据表明，青少年成长过程中出现的心理疾病较成人更为严重。

六、活动目的：端正学生的心理发展方向，避免学生在成长过程中产生不良的心理状态。

(一)、 导入

健康不仅仅是没有躯体疾病、不体弱，而是一种躯体、心理和社会功能都良好的状态，有良好的社会适应能力。

(三)、分析现状及原因

初中阶段又称为青春期、少年期。这一阶段是个体生长发育的第二个高峰期。初中生生理发育十分迅速，在2至3年内就能完成身体各方面的生长发育任务并达到成熟水平。

但是其心理发展的速度则相对缓慢，心理水平尚处于从幼稚向成熟发展的过渡时期，这样，初中生的身心就处在一种非平衡状态，引起种种心理发展上的矛盾。

生理变化对心理活动的冲级

这种影响主要来自两个方面。

首先，由于初中生身体外形的变化，使他们产生了成人感，因此，在心理上他们希望尽快进入成人世界，摆脱童年时的一切，寻找一种全新的行为准则，扮演一个全新的社会角色，就在这种种追求中，会产生种种困惑。

其成熟性主要表现在为他们产生了对成熟的强烈追求和感受，在这种感受的作用下，他们在对人、对事的态度、情绪情感的表达方式以及行为的内容和方向都发生了明显的变化，同时也渴望社会、学校和家长能给于他们成人式的信任和尊重。

其幼稚性主要表现在其认知能力、思想方式、人格特点及社会经验上。

由于初中生心理上的成人感及幼稚性并存，所以，表现出种种心理冲突和矛盾，具有明显的不平衡性：1、反抗性与依赖性并存;

如，由于生理上的迅速发展，初中生对自己的认识超前而父母对初中生的认识滞后的情况。在一些问题上，初中生渐渐不再把父母和老师当作权威，而开始能够客观的评价他们了。由于成人对初中生和初中生对自己的认识上的差异，在一些具体问题上，初中生出现强烈的反抗。这也就是为什么青春期也叫做第二反抗期。初中生的反抗心理的特点是：1、态度强硬，举止粗鲁;2、漠不关心，冷漠相对;3、反抗的迁移性，即指，当某一人物的某一方面的言行引起他们的反感时，就倾向于将这种反感及排斥迁移到这一人物的方方面面。甚至将这个人全部否定;同样，当成人团体中某一成员不能令他们满意时，他们就倾向于对该团队中的所有成员予以排斥。

2、闭锁性与开放性并存;3、勇敢和怯懦并存;4、高傲和自卑并存;5、否定而又眷恋童年。

6，对未来开始感到迷茫，不知所措。

发觉自己小学时的想法理想很天真，自己现在的情况无法达成而全盘否定，导致理想轰然倒塌，失去了对学习生活的目标而感到茫然，不知道自己该做什么，能做什么。

(四)、学生举例发言

在学习上很是苦恼，总为学习上的事烦心，以前成绩很好，可现在很差。我感觉我现在是一无是处，学习不行，运动不行，也没什么爱好。我现在很是苦闷，我已经很用心了，为什么我的成绩比别人差，为什么我要学的这么累，为什么每次考试感到都倍受打击。功课开始落下，因此而逐渐讨厌学习，产生抵抗情绪。

1.平时不知为什么总觉得心慌意乱，坐立不安。

2.上床后，怎么也睡不着，即使睡着也容易惊醒。

3.经常做恶梦，惊恐不安，早晨醒来就感到倦怠无力、焦虑烦躁。

4.经常早醒1-2小时 ，醒后很难再入睡。

5.学习的压力常使自己感到非常烦躁，讨厌学习。

6.读书看报甚至在课堂上也不能专心一致，往往自己也搞不清在想什么。

1)0-8分。心理非常健康，请你放心。

3)17-30分。你在心理方面有了一些障碍，应采取适当的方法进行调适，或找心理辅导老师帮助你。

4)31-40分。是黄牌警告，有可能患了某些心理疾病，应找专门的心理医生进行检查治疗。

(八)、活动总结

12月12日(星期五)我们参加学校的心理健康活动。

活动的内容可丰富啦!有瞎子背子、拼图片、运乒乓球比赛......。

每一项活动都有一定的规则，比如运乒乓球，一定是两人同时拿着叉子，叉住乒乓球运到下一个同学的叉子里。我也参加了运乒乓球，是和刘达汉一组。我们两人团结协作，把球很快运到下一组同学手上。在大家的共同努力下，我们小组获得了优胜。

参加这一次的活动使我感到：无论做什么事情，只要大家团结一致，就一定能取得好成绩。

现在我们初中的老师被要求进行心理健康教育考试。为的是可以教育学生。其实我发现老师的心理也不健康，在我们学校，大部分的老师心理不健康。只有一个时间是健康的。那就是暑假。因为那时没心理负担。但是一到开学。心理就又开始不健康了。因为压力实在是太大。首先是到哪里去任教的问题。一不小心你就会被调到偏远的山区。那就有苦吃了。还有就是学科成绩，这是唯一的目标。你是合格还是不合格全看你的成绩。其它的不管。所以一开学就没得空了。心上象有一块沉沉的石头。一直抓学生的成绩。唯恐落后。一直到暑假开始。知道了结果。如果成绩好的话，整个暑假就比较好过。如果成绩比较差。就还是得胆心这个不合格会不会轮到自己头上。所以说老师心理上的这块石头往往影响到对学生的态度上。恨铁不成钢和体罚，变相体罚等等简单粗暴的做法就是这种心态的体现。

以上只是一个方面。还有一个就是待遇问题。虽然老师有假期。但是也没什么可以做呀，旅游需要钱，就那么点钱游多远这一次去海南用了6000多。还真点心疼呢。但平时我们除了工资，几乎没什么钱了。工作时间呢从早上6点多。到晚上5点半。作为班主任的一星期两次要到9点多才能离开学校。上夜课就更不用说了。而其它事业单位就没这种情况了。他们8点钟上班。下午也是很迟才上班的。而我们中午为了抓学生的成绩几乎是没得休息的。他们工资比我们高。高中的老师尽管跟我们差不多辛苦。但他们工资比我们高多了。这样的一比较心态又不平衡了。还有班主任，没几个愿当班主任，因为实在是太辛苦了。整个学校的调查结果显示，没几个愿当班主任，当的大多数是不得已而为之。

最说领导上的课差不多都是副科，不用调测的。有的还不用任课，多余的课压在一部分老师身上，老师累得喘不过气来。他们却在那儿高唱“今年我们学校老师超编……“活儿谁干得多。谁挨的批评就最多。钱就拿得最少。活儿干得最少的，好事样样有份，坏事一样都轮不到。

所以说要心理疾病要治疗的首先是老师而不是学生。

Many young people visited him in his office for academic advice； others came to his home for social evenings.

Finally，I was attracted by his lively wit. He believed that no class hour is a success unless the students and the professor share several chuckles and at least one loud laugh.Through his sense of humor， he made learning more enjoyable and more lasting.If it is true that life makes a wise man smile and a foolish man cry，then my friend is truly a wise man.
