星期天，我和爸爸妈妈一起去动物园玩。进了门，我就看见某个动物馆排队的队伍把路给挡住了。于是，我也挤上前去看，不看不知道，一看还真是把我给吓了一大跳。只见一位驯养员叔叔左手拉着套着熊猫的铁链，右手拿着鞭子在抽熊猫，让熊猫表演节目。多少残忍的一幕呀!

熊猫可是世界上最最宝贵的动物之一，数量十分稀少，是我们中国的一级保护动物。它的外表是黑白相间的，被誉为“中国国宝”。大熊猫是中国特有动物，现存的主要栖息地在中国四川、陕西等周边山区。全世界野生大熊猫现存大约1590只左右。成年熊猫长约120 -190厘米，体重85到125公斤，适应以竹子为食的生活。大熊猫憨态可掬的可爱模样深受全世界人的喜爱，在1961年世界自然基金会成立时就以大熊猫为其标志，大熊猫已成为物种保育最重要的象征，也是中国作为外交活动中表示友好的重要代表。
