家人们陆陆续续地起了床，第一项就要开始了——烧烤。爸爸妈妈把买来的食物洗净、腌制，就到了我们小孩子的工程了——用炭把食物烤熟。先把食物放在铁架上，用热量烤熟，然后刷上油，涂上香料，就完成了。大家你一串，我一串地吃了起来。大家嘴边都是还热乎的香料，看到别人的嘴，大家都哈哈的笑起来了。

随着第一项的结束，第二项又开始了——登山。我们老家有许多山，风景可美了!尤其是在下雪时，一天后，树啊，房子啊，山啊，穿上了雪白的衣裤。我们常常拿着相机拍摄着美丽的风景，比比谁拍的最美、最好。

终于到了最后一项——吃年夜饭。厨房里面冒着热腾腾的热气，整个村子都闻到了香味。平常吃不到的食材，都上了桌，我们早早的占了位置，看到这么多食物，都开始你争我抢地吃了起来，大人们看到我们狼狈不堪的样子，都开始哈哈大笑了!

到了晚上，我们看了“春节联欢晚会”，到了十二点，外面已经放起了烟花爆竹。

“千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。”新的一年来了，我又长大了一岁，做了一个十二岁的五年级同学。我会做一个懂事的孩子，做一个大哥哥大姐姐的样子!

New Years eve at noon, I saw my grandma cooked a lot of rice, just curious to ask: why want to cook so much rice, we also cant eat a meal? New Years eve afternoon, grandpa and father stick couplets, I also coincided with in the past. East, west to see see. When my father asked me: "do you know why do we need to stick couplets?" I answered: "know a little bit, festive bai." "Also right, couplet to express the good wish of people to pray for good fortune in the New Year. Now we stick couplets, cannot go toward outside throwing things, even cant throw rubbish, until annual lunar calendar to throw things. This means that circle the goods at home." Dad went on to say that.

On the evening of New Years eve, the home of the elder led the family to "worship the mountain ancestor worship". On the front of ancestors grave red candle and incense, placed offerings, to miss to ancestors. This also is respect for them.

除夕的中午，我见奶奶煮了好多饭，就好奇的上前去询问：为什么要煮这么多饭，我们一顿也吃不了呀?奶奶回答道：“今天要多煮一些，大年初一可不能再煮新鲜饭。因为土家族人很少吃鱼，所以就要多煮饭，这也叫‘年年有余’吧。”

除夕的下午，爷爷和爸爸一起贴对联，我也过去凑热闹。东看看，西瞧瞧。这时爸爸问我：“你知道我们为什么要贴对联吗?”我回答：“知道一点点，喜庆呗。”“也对吧，对联是为了表达人们祈求新年福运的美好心愿。现在我们贴好了对联，就不能往外扔东西了，连垃圾也不能扔，一直要到大年初二才可以扔东西。这样就表示把财圈在家里了。”爸爸接着说。

除夕的傍晚，由家里的最长者带领全家去“拜山祭祖”。在先辈的坟前点上红烛和香，摆上祭品，以表对先辈的怀念。这也是对他们的尊敬。

The Great Wall is the symbol and pride of China,and it is famous all over the world.

But,do you know about it?Let me tell you something about it.The Great Wall was first built during the Qin Dynasty,which was the beginning of the Feudal Society of China.Hower,it was not what it is now.It was very short.The following dynasties continued to build it It became longer and longer and finally reached to about 5000 kilometres,winding from the Shanhai Pass,north-east of China to the Jiayu Pass,north-west China.

Being solid and strong ,the Great Wall acted a very important part,protecting the governors and their people from being attacted by their enemies in ancient China.

Nowadays,the Great Wall has become one of well-known interesting places of China,attracting millions of visitors througth the world.

Things Happened in Spring Festival Today, I went shopping with my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a rare occasion because we hardly only get together few times in a year as a big family. On the way to the shopping mall, we watched the lion dance. Overall, we had an unforgettable day.
