Ive read this twice. The first time I rushed through it just to find out who was the "victim." Yeah. Wasnt really surprised about that. Im sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, I wasnt really enthused at having to slog through this book.

I understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young Mr. Potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. There shouldve been some hints as far back as "Chamber" but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. It is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasnt a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story （I, personally, could have lived without the whole Hagrid/Grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of Dolores Umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan）。

But one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think （perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely）--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. This is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isnt a great novel. But it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. We may not like the person Harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of Umbridge or Rons jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in todays society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the "system."

Yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. Remember, the Harry Potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

读了这本书，对我的感触很深，一个非常普通的人，能在一个荒无人烟，环境如此恶历的情况下，仅用几支枪和一些数的清的大米，小麦，甚至连鞋子都没有的情况下，生存了二十八年，可想而知，这连常人都不敢想象的事情，鲁滨逊却办到了。

他曾经在无药而发高烧的情况下，利用简单的树叶，水和少量的食物做成了一种吃的东西。他一连几天四肢无力。但他坚持自己信念，终于战胜病魔，他在看似很难办到的一些事情，都勇敢的办到了。

这本书强烈的感染了我，放佛也让我与鲁滨逊一起捉山羊，与野人大战……。给我带来一种真实和现场感，让我感到做人就应该有勇敢不服输和自食其力的精神。

我一定要向鲁滨逊学习，把这种精神用到学习上，做一个德学兼备的好学生。

暑假阅读了不少书籍，让我印象深刻的书属《鲁滨孙漂流记》。整本书一口气读完，欲罢不能，深切地感受到鲁滨孙那惊人的毅力和百折不挠的精神。

鲁滨孙是本书的主人公，在一次航海中，鲁滨孙所乘坐的船在荒岛附近触礁，船上的水手和乘客全被淹死，只有鲁滨孙一人幸运地存活下来。海浪把他卷上了海滩，在他克服了最初的悲观与绝望后，凭借自己的双手与智慧，利用枪和简单的工具，自力更生过上了荒岛生活。鲁滨孙用他顽强的毅力与大自然展开了英勇卓绝的斗争，经过不懈努力，他不仅有了自己的住所，还有牧场、种植园，甚至还有宠物，在孤岛上乐观坚强的生活了二十八年，最终回到祖国的怀抱。

当我读完这个情节曲折的故事时，不由得想起了自己，如果我也遭遇到像鲁滨孙那样的困境，我能够像他一样顽强地生存下去吗?不，我做不到。因为我几乎没有自理能力，对我来说，即使钉纽扣，洗衣服这些简单的工作都是非常困难的。而鲁滨孙呢?他自己动手做出了一切的东西，在荒岛上的恶劣环境中生活了二十八年!我不得不承认与鲁滨孙相比我真是太无能了，从小到大，父母、学校为我们铺设了平坦的成长道路，在这条大道上没有任何挫折和风浪，过着丰衣足食的生活，可我还总是抱怨这个，抱怨那个，遇到一点点小事就会气馁，实际上，被幸福顺境包围着的我，根本没有真正尝到生活中的挫折。

我应该向鲁滨孙学习，身陷绝境，也要对生活充满信心，勇敢地面对，无论何时何地，不管遇到多大的困难，都不能被困难吓倒，要始终保持一种积极向上、从容乐观的心态，去面对和挑战厄运。只有这样，才能像鲁宾逊那样，做生活的强者，在人生的航海中，勇敢前进，永不放弃!

暑假期间有一部影片《哪吒之魔童降世》不断被刷新中国动画片的票房纪录，我们全家也禁不住诱惑跑到电影院一探究竟，看看它到底有多火。

先从动画片的主人公说起吧，哪吒被改头换面，打破了以往它在我们心目中可爱的造型，这个小哪吒脸上透露出一股邪恶，长着黑眼圈，走起路来手插裤兜吊儿郎当的，一副目中无人的坏模样。其实在影片中，他斩妖除魔、为民除害、保护弱小还是让我们心里暖暖的。这部电影有笑点也有泪点，描述的是天地孕育出两颗混元珠魔丸和灵丸，天师在魔丸上下了天劫咒，三年后便会死去。

身为魔丸的哪吒注定要是一个悲剧了，他拜太乙真人为师学法术，百姓们都称他为妖怪，见到他就躲起来，哪吒从小就没有朋友，很孤单。他也曾多次想为民除害，可是往往都是好心办了坏事，被老百姓们误解，李靖怕他再惹事生非，索性就把哪吒关了起来并严加看管。另一枚混元珠———灵珠就是敖丙，他也是哪吒唯一的朋友。敖丙被他的父王和师傅申公豹教唆去摧毁陈塘关，是哪吒阻止了这一切，他不但改变自己的命运也改变了整个陈塘关老百姓的命运。

影片的最后，天雷降临，那句：“去你个鸟命，我命由我不由天，是魔是仙我自己说了才算！”感动了在座的每一位，是啊，有些人因为命运的不公而选择轻生，或者，接受不了现实的人活不出任何光彩。但也有些人，对命运顽抗。比如谈迁，编写的《国榷》被小偷盗走，下落不明，这是他呕心沥血20多年才写出来的，不过谈迁不认命，不抱怨，马上从困境中走了出来，励志要重新撰写，最终著成了一篇更精彩的《国榷》。我们就要学习这种精神，不向命运低头，不服输，不认输。

I read a book foreign classics, "oliver twist". It is the author of the famous realist writer dickens. The contents of the book is very wonderful, let me fascinated.

Her main protagonist is an orphan named oliver twist, the book tells the story of oliver when I was a child. He was born in an orphanage, there had been bullied, sold to an undertaker of the family. However, because once the undertaker misunderstood him, severely beat him, so he fled to the legend the finer London. But in London, he unfortunately fell into a thief wat.

Although he suffered so miserable, but he eventually strong to survive. With the help of the man, he was able to solve his life mystery, found his sister, and her sister. Oliver had a family of care and help, I felt glad for him, too.

London at that time there are a lot of poor people, they have been bullied, and even in the desperate situation. So, in order to survive, when the robber, do a thief... 我读了一本外国名著——《雾都孤儿》。它的作者是英国著名的现实主义作家狄更斯。书中的内容很精彩，让我着迷。

书中的主人公是一个孤儿，名叫奥利弗·特维斯特，这本书讲述了奥利弗小时候的故事。他出生在孤儿院，在那儿受尽了欺凌后，被卖到了一个殡仪员的家庭。可是，因为有一次殡仪员误解了他，狠狠地打了他，所以他就逃到了传说中美好的伦敦。但是到了伦敦后，他又不幸陷入了贼窟。

尽管他的遭遇如此悲惨，他却最终坚强地活了下来。在好心人的帮助下，他解开了自己的身世之谜，找到了自己的姐姐，与姐姐相依为命。奥利弗终于有了亲人的关怀和帮助，我也为他感到庆幸。

那时的伦敦有很多穷人，他们都饱受过欺凌，甚至到了走投无路的境地。于是，有的为了生存，就去当强盗，做小偷……他们都没有像奥利弗一样——坚守着心底深处的纯净。奥利弗相信，只有这样，才能为自己找到出路。

《雾都孤儿》让我学会深思，给了我很大启发。它是我读过的第一本大部头外国名著，我要好好地珍藏这本书。

寒假里我读了一本集思想性，文学性和艺术性为一体的探险生活的通俗性经典名著—《鲁宾逊漂流记》。

这个故事讲述的是一个英国的水手因船沉而流落荒岛，在进退无路的情况下，他靠自己的双手，凭着自己的智慧，花了很长时间的时间，把荒岛变为世外桃源。还勇敢的救出一个土著人——星期五。他们共同生活，后来，一艘英国船只经过荒岛，鲁宾逊帮助船长制服了叛乱的水手，乘船离开荒岛，返回英国，过上了幸福的生活。鲁宾逊从落难荒岛到返回英国，这段时间竟长达二十多年。

鲁宾逊的坚强让我佩服，他的乐观主义精神也让我佩服，初到荒岛鲁滨逊因没有助手，工具不全缺乏经验，所以做任何事情都要花费很大的劳力，费好长的时间。他做好多事情都是白费力气，但他并不灰心，总结经验从新做起，毫不弃累。辛苦的劳动总是有回报的。克服的许多困难才得到了许多东西。

看完这本书，使我深受感动。一个人身陷绝境，竟能这样对生活充满信心，勇敢地面对生活，创造生活，实在是难能可贵的。使我认识到，人不论何时何地，不管遇到多大的困难，都不能被困难吓倒，要勇敢地面对困难，克服困难，始终保持一种积极向上、从容乐观的心态，去面对和挑战厄运。只有这样，才能像鲁宾逊那样，永远是一个胜利者。

我不禁反省自己，以前做事一但不成功，就会气馁，没有信心再做下去。读了这本书后，我深深体会到这样做是不对的，应该向鲁宾逊那样，不断总结失败的经验，又从新开始做起，不达目的誓不罢休。读了《鲁滨逊漂流记》，我真是受益匪浅。

Children have also witnessed or experienced the teasing that is part and parcel of childhood.

This ageless story speaks across generations with its reaffirming message. In this age of instant gratification, Andersens tale reminds readers that some things are worth waiting for and that a pleasure deferred (whether by choice or necessity) is often the sweetest one of all.

Pinkneys descriptive passages resonate with the splendor of natures beauty. The glowing watercolors, filled with intricate details, make each blade of grass visible, and the delicately drawn, nearly transparent mosquitoes are as ethereal as they are in life. The subtle details incorporated into the scenes--a frog catching a passing fly at the pond and a tiny mouse perched by a crate in the old womans cottage--make children take another look.

One day he heard a sound of whirring wings, and up in the air he saw a flock of birds flying high. They were as bright as the snow that had fallen during the night, and their long necks were stretched southward. Oh, if only he could go with them! But what sort of companion could he be to those beautiful beings?

I am too ugly even for a dog to eat, the duckling thought. Jerry Pinkneys poignant text and rich artwork convey the timeless appeal of this tale of hardship and redemption. Anyone who has suffered the sting of ostracism can sympathize with the ugly ducklings plight and will relish the uplifting conclusion.
