Catherine represents wild nature, in both her high, lively spirits and her occasional cruelty. She loves Heathcliff so intensely that she claims they are the same person. However, her actions are driven in part by her social ambitions, which initially are awakened during her first stay at the Lintons, and which eventually compel her to marry Edgar. Catherine is free—spirited, beautiful, spoiled, and often arrogant, she is given to fits of temper, and she is torn between her both of the men who love her. The location of her coffin symbolizes the conflict that tears apart her short life. She is buried in a corner of the Kirkyard. In contrast to Catherine, Isabella Linton—Catherine’s sister—in—law represents culture and civilization, both in her refinement and in her weakness. Ultimately, she ruins her life by falling in love with Heathcliff. He never returns her feelings and treats her as a meretool in his quest for revenge on the Linton family.

读了《鲁滨逊漂流记》这本书，让我明白了毅力是战胜困难的法宝，这是我读这本书的个感受。

读中写到，在一次海远行中鲁滨逊被海水冲到一个可怕又孤独无人的小岛上，单挑命运与世隔绝。不仅仅是他，换成其他人也会沮丧，失望的，甚至躺在岛上等死亡之神来……

起初他没有食物，没有抵御野兽的东西和手段，甚至没有衣服穿，面对种种困境他是怎样克服的呢？

他每天都安慰自己：“自己是唯一的一个幸存者，能活下来已经很好了，很幸运了，而且回伦敦的机会也许会很多呢！”其实我们平时就应该想一些办法消极情绪，以便使自己快乐。“7月15日我开始踏上同一条路，只是走的比第一天更远，我发现河流和平原，密藤缠绕在树上，一串串葡萄硕大肥美，透着诱人的成熟……，我在这里找到了大量的可可树，橘子和柠檬树、橡树。”这就是勇于冒险，勇于拼搏的人。

当鲁滨逊选择了充满风险的航海，而不是波澜不惊的生活就注定了他那充满传奇色彩的一生。我一直喜欢在读书时把自己想象成主人公，但却做出与主人公相反的选择，再思考这样做的结局是什么。读完《鲁滨逊漂流记》后我不得不嘲笑自己，因为还没上荒岛之前我就已经死了不下十次了！在自嘲的同时，我也不禁佩服鲁滨逊的勇敢与机智，以我的思维看待鲁滨逊的抉择，那简直就是天方夜谭！

那么如何做出像鲁滨逊那样正确的抉择呢？鲁滨逊初上荒岛就镇静下来，还抓紧时机从沉船上获得了最基本的生存物资，给自己鼓气相信自己能开拓荒地，丰衣足食。可见，正确的抉择少不了——镇静、自信、不轻言放弃。

回过头来发现：一切成功人士作出抉择时亦是如此！美国著名总统林肯一生共参加竞选11次只仅仅成功3次，但3次就够了，只要选择了不放弃，无论失败多少次，都选择再试一次，不就多了一次成功机会了吗？不要多，只需3次，鞋匠的儿子就能成为美国总统，成为令全世界都为之叹服的伟人。

然而生活中的我们会做出怎样的抉择？我想：一向顺风顺水的我们定会在一次次失败与挫折面前，陷入无尽痛苦的深渊，而终将在悲伤中被自己击垮！为何我们会如此脆弱，甚至连一次勇于面对的选择都无法做出，连一次打击也无法承受呢？这是因为我们在生活中从来不用做任何决定，70%的选择都安排好的，只要照着去做就能取得成果。久而久之，人的脑子就已经不再也不需要转动。所谓的“选择恐惧症”就是无脑人士为他们的愚蠢和无能而找的冠冕堂皇的理由，也正是因为如此，多少人丧失了判断力，误入了歧途。

正确的抉择能让人登上巅峰，错误的抉择能使人一下子跌进灭顶的深渊。只有做到虽然心碎，但依然不放弃；虽然痛苦，但依然镇静；虽然奔溃，但依然自信。只要坚信对付屡战屡败的最好办法就是选择屡败屡战，永不言弃，只有这样才能做出将自己推向辉煌而不是深渊的抉择与决定！

《百万英镑》是讲一个贫穷、诚实的人，也就是这个故事的主人公收到了一对兄弟的信，信里装着百万英镑。原来这对兄弟打了一个赌，赌如果一个贫穷、诚实的人收到天上掉下的一百万英镑，他会有怎样的结果?哥哥认为他会饿死，因为他无法证明这些钱是他自己的，而且会受到别人的怀疑，就连银行都不会让他存钱。弟弟却认为他会过得很好。于是他们兄弟俩将一百万英镑的支票借给了这个贫穷又诚实又聪明的人，并出国呆了一个月。没想到在这段时间里，人们对这位突然暴富的罕见富翁，竟拼命地拉拢他，从免费吃饭，买衣服，到免费住宿，一个个像乞丐一样讨好他，并不断提高他的社会地位，一直到了除王室外最高的公爵之上!不光如此，他还得到了一位好妻子和三万英镑的银行利息，最后还从两兄弟那儿得到了一份很好的工作，过着非常非常幸福的生活。

The story is about a boy. He lives on a small planet. He is the only person of the planet. He is a lonely prince. Fortunately, a beautiful rose came in his life. They loved each other. But a little argument separated them. He left the planet which he lives, starts traveling. He went to many planets and met many different people. He likes to watch the sunset when he was sad. He found that people wanted happiness, but always pushed away happiness rudely.

He chose to drank snake venom end his life because he thought it will be able to cast off his bulky body to go back.

Every time, when I read "The Little Prince", I always moved about it. In real life, we often busy in the whole day, such as a fly without soul. The passage of time, childhood away, we grew up and took away a lot of memories, but we also have an oasis in the heart.

我用两天时间将《鲁滨孙漂流记》全读完了。它主要讲了英国的热爱冒险的鲁滨孙被流落荒岛，最后在岛上生活了27年后返回英国的故事。我感触颇深。

首先，如果不坚毅的话，那么鲁滨孙早就陷入悲观、绝望了。但是，如果只坚毅却不勇敢的话，那么坚毅也是徒劳的。只要把勇敢与坚毅合璧的话，它就造就了一颗心，一颗强者的心——鲁滨孙不就是这样的人吗？

由此，我想到了我上次去鹞落坪爬山的事。由于几天前持续下雨，本来的泥路更加泥泞，许多大树根露了出来，成了天然“绊马索”；光滑的大石头藏在稀泥里，就等人一踩一摔跤了；路还小溪流淌而过，青石滑得不用说。我们就像王八吃西瓜——滚得滚，爬得爬。我几乎走一步，滑两下，衣服摇身一变，变成了泥大褂，好端端一个人，“哧——”地滑一跤，立刻就像小商品店中卖得栩栩如生的泥猴子。天啊！这是通向地狱的路吗？我真想放弃！

突然，我心里想：我不是看过《鲁滨孙漂流记》吗？他都能在荒岛上生活将近30年之久，我呢？爬一座不到一千米的山就叫苦不迭，我真不如他，没有他的坚毅与勇敢！在这股力量的鼓舞下，我终于登上高峰，也攀爬上了一座精神的高峰！

人，仅仅聪明机智还不够的，但还要坚毅勇敢，不然，你就只是块耍小聪明的料！坚毅勇敢才会让你成为一个强者！

人要坚毅勇敢——这是鲁滨孙给我带来的丰盛精神食粮。

这个星期我读了一本叫做《鲁滨逊漂流记》的书，读了之后有很多感想。这本书说得是一个叫鲁滨逊的英国商人，在一次探险中，遇到了风暴，船沉了，所有的船员都死了，但鲁滨逊却幸运地活了下来。他在小岛上建起了他们自己的“家”，并在岛上顽强的活了下来。而在一次偶然的机会中鲁滨逊救下了一个野人，并给他取名为“星期五”，从此以后“星期五”便成了鲁滨逊的一个好帮手，一直非常勤劳的帮助鲁滨逊。并在鲁滨逊的帮助下学会了说话。

读完之后我一直在想，如果鲁滨逊换成我的话，我能不能像鲁滨逊那样坚强的活下去呢?我能不能有他那样的野外生活本领呢?不，我没有。仔细想想我不足的地方还有很多，我没有他那样好的心理素责，我甚至在家连洗碗、拖地这样力所能及的事都不会做，更别说在野外要学会生火、做饭、建起自己的“家”这一类的事情了。说不定当我发现自己漂落在荒岛时上，或许会想还不如就沉在海里死了算了。

想想看现在社会中的男孩子要不就是娇生惯养成了小皇帝，要不就是由于没人管成了社会上的野孩子。如果把他们变成鲁滨逊给风暴吹到海滩上来的话，指不定他们会怎样呢?如果是娇生惯养的小男孩的话，他们一定在大哭大叫又不知道该怎样自理，虽很幸运的被冲上了岸，可不是因为自己的胆小和没有野外生存能力而死去。

另外一种人，虽然胆子大可自以为是，在林子里如果碰到野兽的话怎么办?他们只会一味的去干一些不计后果的事，最后，只能尝到自己给自己带来的苦果。

我今后一定要学习鲁滨逊，在绝境中努力的去拼搏，在不幸中想自己的幸运，当然，冰冻三尺非一日之寒，我要从小事做起，不断的锻炼自己的才能，做一个真正勇敢的人。

当我郑重地翻过《鲁滨逊漂流记》最后一页，读完这个情节曲折、跌宕起伏的故事之后，主人公鲁滨逊在逆境中不畏艰险、百折不挠的精神深深地打动了我。

鲁滨逊怀揣着航海家环游世界的梦想，历经多次惊心动魄的航海险情，所乘坐的船只终于在太平洋上一个荒岛触礁，船上的水手和乘客全被淹死了，只有鲁滨逊一个人幸运地活了下来。在度过了最初的悲观与绝望之后，他凭借自己顽强的毅力，依靠自己的双手和智慧，利用简单的工具，在孤岛上劳作生息，开拓荒地，圈养牲畜，年复一年与孤独为伴，克服了种种常人难以克服的困难，在荒芜人烟的孤岛生活了28年啊！多么惊人的一个数字！这完全是他凭借自己的毅力和智慧创造的奇迹。

身处逆境不畏艰险，百折不挠，是成功最重要的一步。我想正是因为鲁滨逊做到了这一点，才能在逆境中顽强地生存下来。如果我是他，可能起先就已绝望乃至发疯，或者早已饿死在岛上。鲁滨逊是有多么大的勇气和力量才能在这样困难重重的孤岛上立足呢？我不敢想象！想想我们这些温室里的花朵，衣食无忧，不能自立，心里顿时羞愧难当。

所以，我们要珍惜现在的幸福生活，多经历些风雨的洗礼，谱写未来生活最华美的乐章！
