However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the environment needs everybody’s effort.

经历了紧张的初三以后，我有幸进入了这所学校。我希望可以靠自己的勤奋努力，在三年后可以进入自己理想的大学，让自己不后悔。

我了解到高中的学习与初中会有很大差别，因此我必须要完善一些以前错误的学习方法，使我在高中学习中得到事半功倍的效果，并能取得好成绩来告慰家长与老师。

第一：我必须要做到专心听课，课后认真，仔细完成老师布置的回家作业，常作练习，要争取做到每个单元结束时，做一份自我分析。

第二：改变以往的学习方法，一但有一点不懂得问题就要马上去问老师。我还要激发出学习兴趣，改变以往的一看到难的题目就不想做的状态。除此之外我还要注意锻炼身体，每天坚持锻炼，每天的睡眠时间一定要保证。

第三：应该客观评价自己，及时补漏补缺。一旦发现各科目的成绩下滑，立刻在不影响其他科目的时间，利用课余时间补救，务必在2个星期内有所提高，又以2个星期的时间内逐步提高，创新新的学习方法，化被动为主动，以达到事半功倍的效果。

第四：保持乐观自信的心态，应该学会及时归类，对原有知识的强化、深化、拓展、应用。

第五：我绝对不会乱用零花钱，帮助父母节约好每一分钱，尽自己的微薄之力来减轻父母对我们的操心。

在接下来的三年中我也将协助老师、与同学友好相处。尽自己所能为班级、学校服务，做我自己力所能及的事情。并谨遵老师的教导、记住同学的善意提醒。积极参与学校组织的活动与竞赛。

希望接下来的高中生活将成为我人生中印象最深刻的时光。

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.

Tourism in China

Recent years have seen a tendency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban residents travel regularly, and 28% rural residents also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.

Facing this tendency, we can’t help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people’s living standard has been greatly improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What’s more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism, and regard it as a life style. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. For example, transportation develops fast, and many scenic spots are available now.
