Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern, we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things. There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall, delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

had dumplings that night, because that is our Chinese traditional. We then watch

the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful

fireworks. That’s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had

dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from

it.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. I also arranged myself the books and words I need to read and recite.

Secondly, I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original

reading. My favorite book is , written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the

classical movies, the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my

holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher, surely I met

lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance

really was. Lastly, I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several

Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it

the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is

famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new

semester is coming, I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming

challenges.

As a sophomore, I am feeling the time flies. Recalling about the past one year, so many thoughts are flooding in my mind. At this time, I just can’t tell my real idea. The memory is just like so fresh, and all the things happened yesterday!

When first day I came to University, I really feel that the school is very good, but at the first sight of the dormitory, something disappointing come up to me! The condition of the dormitory is really very poor with only one room, no lavatory! I saw something sad in my father’s eyes, maybe that time he thought of the poor condition! So with a big smile on my face, I told my father” it doesn’t matter, Dad. In this kind of condition, I will get myself better!” My father felt better. But when he was coming back, seeing his back, I just wanted to cry! I felt in this city I was just isolated, from that time, I said to myself, “ you have no others who can help you here, just depend on yourself”

And then I came to my dormitory 303. I considered that I would spend four years here (in fact I moved to another one year later) and my dorm mates are all there. Most of them came from Sichuan and they were chatting with a happy voice, but I can’t understand them! Again, I felt myself isolated! I hated that kind of feeling, and then I said to hello to them! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here, I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don’t know why. Everyday when I was at home, I was just eager to go to school, to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here, I am just eager to go back! It’s quite strange though, you must know this kind of feeling!

Just spending about 2 days here, we were on our way to military train. To us, it’s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me, I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. So, you know, it’s just this kind of feeling I can’t convey it clearly! The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities, for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. At that time, I felt myself so little among them. All of them have a special talent but not me. I admired them but meanwhile jealousy. Why don’t I have this kind of talent? Am I stupid? I always said to myself. So that time I was also very ambitious, just eager to catch up with them. Except the classmates, the trainer in our team also left a deep impression on me! He was not very handsome and very kind. Just because of his kindness results in my laughter when training. He always said to me that I should be serious in the team but I didn’t listen to him. So after a long time, when investigating the training result, I gave them a disappointing answer. The highest trainer sent me to clean the toilet, although, it didn’t means insulting to my dignity, but I was really sad about myself and my heart was hurt. That was a small thing but told me that I need to be serious to one thing. And unhappiness passed, the happy and funny time recalled me that folding the blanket. Yeah, it’s really very funny. Most of us had never folded the blanket and naturally we can’t accomplish the task well. When the monitor came, we pleased him to help us to fold the blanket. To our expect, we managed to persuade the monitor. After the monitor finished the task for me. I dared not to touch the blanket again and just used the clothes instead of the blanket. Of course, I felt very cold in deep night, so to my instinct, I crashed into my classmate’s blanket. And we were scratching the single blanket fiercely, just like a war. I have studied in my middle school for three years.My life in middle school is rich and I have learned a lot. I get knowledge from text books as well as from extra curricular activities. 大学，多少学子向往的地方。大学生活，每一个高中生都梦寐以求的的想去体验一番。至少当时的我是这样。但是，说句实话，大学对那时的我来说只是一种想象中的美好，但究竟如何，我想现在的我才对他有一定的了解。

在大学，不会再有老师苦口婆心的教诲和防腐不知疲倦的讲解；不会有每天做不完的习题和试卷；也不会天天为了分数、名次而焦急、苦恼……在体验大学生活的这一个月中，有这样一件事让我印象比较深刻：在大学的第一堂课上，有两个女生迟到了几分钟，按照以前的习惯打报告进教室。但后来老师说：“在大学中，如果你上课迟到或者有事想要早退的话，你不用打报告，只需悄悄地从后门出入，不要影响大家就好……”在这以后，我也遇到过其他在高中甚至想都不敢想的事情。比如可以随时出入宿舍和校门，因需要完成某事要逃课等。

所以，我总结出：大学，是一个完全靠自觉的过程。如果高中的我们还是一只雏鸟，那么大学的我们可以说已经长大，远离了父母的庇护，远离了老师的督促，剩下的只有自己做自己的主人。

所以，现在的我们要自己管好自己，自己规划自己美好的大学生活，并自己保证今后能够笑着谈起自己的大学生活。

大学的第二个特点就是有更多的时间和空间，大学中绝不会有从早上5点出宿舍上课直到晚上10点才回去休息的情况；也不会因为喜欢看《红楼梦》但怕被老师发现而东躲西藏的事情，更重要的是，在大学里有各种各样的活动等着你去参加和体验，而这些在高中都被视为纯属浪费时间的事情。其实，从这些事情中我们也能学到许多知识——课本里并没有的知识，学到许多经验或是教训，学到大学的丰富多彩……

所以，我认为，比知识更重要的是能力，而能力地培养需要一个过程，大学则是这样一个很好的过程。

所以，我们需要抓住每一个机会，更好地锻炼自己、提高自己，在丰富自己大学生活的同时，为自己多赢得几笔生活的财富！

大学，还有不同以往的种种特点：

大学，可以打手机、用电脑的地方，我们可以不必再为老师要查电子产品而苦恼，甚至把手机藏在垃圾桶里或者天花板上天；

大学，除教室外你还可以去图书馆、参加社团活动等地方，我们也不必过每天除了书本就是习题的单调、乏味的生活；

大学，不必为出一趟校门而绞尽脑汁地编各种请假理由；

大学，不会因为和某个异性朋友多说几次话而被班主任老师请进办公室；

大学，……

大学生活和以往我们经历过的学习生活真的不同，它至少对现在的我来说包含这太多的意外和精彩。当然，大学生活对我们来说也有太多的诱惑，所以这也就需要我们以正确、积极的心态去面对，学会更好的地址诱惑。

如果有机会可以让我跟还在为大学奋斗的学弟学妹们说几句心里话，我真的想告诉他们：好好努力，争取早点来体验大学生活，因为想象和真实的感受真的不一样！我也想对那些想要放弃大学的学生们说：大学，是美好的4年，不要给自己一生留下遗憾！

我习惯了城市的喧嚣，刚踏上西昌这块神奇的土地，便被它醉人的自然风光和浓郁的民族风情所吸引。碧海，蓝天，朴实热情的人们，这是我对西昌的第一印象。

大学校园对大一新生来说像是一座迷宫，经常会迷路，这点我也不例外，但随着对校园的熟悉，这错综复杂的路最终会简化成一条路 即是你若要到某个地方去，绝对会像野生动物一样一条直线抵达，不肯多浪费一丝力气。第一天，先把学校逛了一遍，发现学校的基础设施设备虽一应俱全，但大多都是开国元老级别的了，从其身上不难看出许多历史的痕迹，能够保留至今，大概是为了契合中国“尊老”的传统。好在校园风景还差强人意，四处绿树成荫，鸟语花香，想必多年以后，留在学生脑海里的，绝不是课堂上的专心致志，而是这醉人的桂香与发香。

来到寝室，给我的第一感觉是小，不到七十平米的房间内囊括了卫生间、洗漱台、柜子、桌子等设施；第二感觉是人多，小小的寝室竟然奇迹般地容纳下了十个人！所以整体感觉就一个字——挤。身处寝室，竟有了在外打工的打工仔们的味道，被老板安排在廉价拥挤的出租房内。实乃一大乐事。寝室的兄弟们来自“五湖四海”，泸州的涛哥说话很“泸州”，每个字发音短促且“i”“ian”不分，比如“梯田”这个词语在他口中就成了“梯提”。巴中的邦治兄说话带有浓重的鼻音，并且夹带卷舌，每次说话都能把我们逗乐。他不负“邦治”这个名字，总是喜欢和我们高谈天下风云 时政要闻，全球形势，兴国安邦之事。广元的郑哥发音低沉，也带有卷舌音和转音，是我们寝室，乃至我们班说话最难听懂的一个，别看他外表阳刚，性格豪迈，其实是内心非常敏感的一个人。峰哥是成都金堂的，说话与成都人无二，为人处事很成熟，深谙世道。另外，我们寝室有一位彝族兄弟沙马五且，我们都亲切地叫他“老沙”或者“沙师弟”，他身上有着彝族人的开朗与率真，为人热情和善，对每个人都是笑脸相迎，每个人对他的评价也都是“老沙是个好人”。其它兄弟在此不一一列举，否则有凑字数之嫌（这篇文章是科目考试的论文）。我真心地为有这样一帮兄弟而高兴自豪，前世的几百次回眸才换来今天的擦肩而过，所以前世脖子都扭断了，今天才能遇见你们，我会好好珍惜的！

都说他乡为异客，佳节倍思亲。远离家乡 来到一个陌生的地方，难免会生出许多的不适应 并患上一种叫“思乡”的疾病。而我，却没有一丁点儿的不适应，甚至说来，是乐不思蜀了。你们可以说我忘本 ，也可以称我没心没肺，但这的确是我的真实感受，因为受过高中三年的非人待遇，来到大学，就像猛虎归山，龙游深海，前所未有的自由感携着我的心飞上了九霄云外。什么老师的压迫，这样的苦酒何须饮，且把它洒在身后路；什么父母的叨扰，这样的哀乐不必闻，且把它埋进荒沙百尺深。

大一的课程很稀疏，一周总是有几天会半天半天地没课，加上周末和各种放假，闲着的日子真是多得擢发难数，我不想整天窝在寝室玩电脑，所以就加入了几个协会和社团，经常参加他们的活动，外出踏踏青，吃吃烧烤，打打球，进城逛逛，图书馆坐坐倒也过得轻松。并且 参与这些集体活动也能够提升我与人交际的能力 ，这块正是我所或缺的。学的东西并不局限于书本上嘛。

再谈谈我对大学未来的规划吧，说是规划，其实并不是什么天马行空的长篇大论，我的期望很简单，一是在学业上有所收获，能拿点奖学金那是在好不过的了，二是交际能力能有所提升，能变得更开朗一点，四年之后能有一大邦肝胆相照的朋友。三是能尽快独立，自己挣钱养活自己，不再依赖父母，因为，现在我花父母的每一分钱都是心怀愧疚的。所以，从现在开始，我要上好每一堂课，哪怕是计算机课，积极参加每一个活动，哪怕是干最脏最累的活。极力抓住每一个机会，哪怕最终摊开手发现什么都没有。

数十年后，当我们回首往事时，有这样一些人和事，不会随着烟花的凋零而逝去，只会在岁月的长河中常常忆起，它们都属于这个时代——我的大学！

First, university is such an ideal place to broaden my horizon and make more friends. The youth of 21stcentury should be open-minded, instead of being a person with a tunnel vision. I’m ready to meet more challenges and make more friends during the four years.

第一，大学是能开阔我眼界和结交更多朋友的理想之地。作为21世纪的年轻人，我们应该开拓思维，而不是目光狭隘。我已经做好在这四年内接受挑战和认识更多朋友的准备了。

Second, I’m unwilling to step into the society straight after high school. I’m afraid I’m not fully prepared for the working environment: complicated interpersonal problems, jockeying for position, a tremendous amount of pressure and etc. I have to face various kinds of major conflicts as well as trivial things. I seem to be over-pessimistic, but that actually accounts for part of my choice.

第二，我不愿意在高中之后就直接进入社会。我害怕我没有完全做好踏入工作环境的准备：复杂的人际问题，用手段谋取职位，巨大的压力等等。我必须面对各种重大冲突还有琐碎事情。我也许是过度悲观了，但是事实上这也是我做出选择的一个原因。

Finally, thanks to the all-out support from my parents, i am able to further my study in university. I’ll spare no efforts to live up to their expectation on me to be a well-trained and well-rounded person.

最后，幸好有我父母的全力支持，我才得以在大学继续我的学业。我会不留余力地满足他们的期望成为一个训练有素全面发展的人。

When winter holiday is around corner,I have so many plans,but now I just like coughpotato. My sister and I sleep in the morning,my parents get mad at us.They force us to get up,we lock the bedroom door until we are both hungry.Ha... Because of final exams,our skin in bad condition,my sister said that sleeping is good for skin.Yeah,female do care about their appearence all the time. Afternoon belongs to friend.Call them out and go shopping toghter.We gossip all the people we know.This feeling is so cool,you may find that friend is so important in the world,no on can live without them. My day is simple.

My Opinion on Cheating in Examinations

It is known to us all that some students cheat in examinations at school．

As students，we often take examinations at school，but sometimes we have too many examinations which are too difficult for us．On the other hand，some of us are lazy and dont work hard at their lessons．So when taking examinations，they sometimes cheat in order to get better results to please their parents and teachers．

In my opinion，it is wrong to cheat in examinations because it breaks the rules of schools．We students should be honest and try to get good results by studying hard instead of cheating in examinations．Whats more，we should improve our study methods and get well prepared for examinations．
