This years observance of World No Tobacco Day focuses on "Gender and tobacco, with an emphasis on marketing to women".

there are more than 50,000 buddhist, taoist and confucian rock carvings and 100,000 characters of inscriptions dotted around dazu. the carvings not only include the statues of buddha and bodhisattva but also include that of monarchs, ministers, military officers, high and low-ranking officials, jailers, executioners, monks, rich and poor people, and folk art performers. the earliest grotto was carved in the early tang dynasty and most of them have a history over 1000 years.many of the carvings in baoding grotto reflect religious doctrines and another set of carvings reflects confucianism, specifically filial piety. what the carvings offer to visitors is not only the wonderful enjoyment of the magnificent art but a buddhist teaching like this: one can free himself from earthly worries by self-cultivation and does not need to go beyond his own inner world to

姚若群：添了个娃娃，俺家又有盼头了

虽然在映秀街上分了一间门面房，可我认不得字，做不得生意。要是我那个二娃儿吴勇明还活着，他肯定能帮得到我。

以前孩子在的时候，天天干啥都有劲儿。一下子没了娃儿，就没了盼头，家里也就没了生气，天天死气沉沉的。

去年你没见到娃儿她爸，他去贵州打工了，一走就是大半年，连个电话也不打。今年因为外面不好揽活了，娃儿她爸过完年就没再出去，他可能也听说了，我去年曾自杀过两次，他怕不在家我再走绝路。

要说今年最大的变化，我想对娃儿说：“你爸回来了，咱这个家还在。”

李学：女儿没了，过一天算一天吧

我这些年一直在外打工，一走就是大半年，有时过年也不回来，主要是不想回来。女儿去世后，我一回到家，就想起女儿，到处是她的影子。

今年在外不好找活儿了，更主要的是妻子精神不好，前些年我们是打算离婚的，我们俩岁数都大了，她一直怀不上孩子，我们就商量着离婚，可我回来后听邻居们说，她自杀过两次，都被救过来了。

我怕对不起走了的孩子，她要是知道她妈妈自杀的事儿，肯定会很伤心的。我今年对着记者向女儿保证，我再也不会离开她的妈妈了，我会照顾好她的，请女儿放心，在那边照顾好自己。我和她妈都很好，政府给分了房，年年给补贴，我再打些零工，吃喝不愁。

唉，一晃都过去七年了，可还是一遇变天，就会不由自主地想到女儿带伞了没有。吃饭的时候，她妈妈还总要多留一双碗筷，没了女儿，这一辈子只能是过一天算一天吧。

邓清秀：我还想回到以前的生活

地震前我有两个女儿，老大叫王欣玥，老二叫王欣茹，地震时都在映秀小学，全都被埋进学校了。

地震过后一年，我又生了个小女儿，给她起名叫王欣然，希望她快快乐乐，顺其自然，健健康康地成长，也不希望她有啥大富大贵的。

现在她爸去贵州打工了，我在家每星期一送小女儿去都江堰上学前班，星期五再接她回来。虽然现在映秀镇上也有学校，听人说是广州援建的，建筑质量很好，可我再不敢送小女儿去上学了，心里面有阴影，总怕小女儿在学校再出啥事儿。

要是让我对两个去世的女儿说些最想说的话，那就是，我宁愿不要现在的楼房和小女儿，我宁愿还过着以前在桤木林山上住的日子：家里能喂些猪，养些鸡，菜是自己种的，啥都不用买，两个女儿自己去上学，下学自己跑回来。

现在我这个小女儿，只要一回来，我一刻都不会让她离开我的视线，生怕一转眼，又没了。

李富友：姐姐要嫁得近一些

我儿子李志遇难那年15岁，从那以后，我再没去过向峨中学，不过听说这个中学地震过后就没得(有)了，因为孩子们都遇难了，再开学，就没几个学生来上学了。

地震时我从家里跑到学校参与“扒人”，那楼房建得很差，钢筋少，水泥也不行，要不然会一震就垮?而学校周边的好多民房都没有倒塌，我儿子他们上课的那所教学楼一共四层，地震一震，变成两层了，孩子们都压里面了，惨哟，我儿子扒出来时我都认不得了。

这几年我也到建筑工地上干活，包工头都交代，只要是学校的房子，都要格外小心，不仅要建结实，用工用料也都格外讲究，要是地震以前的学校都像现在的学校该多好啊，说不定我儿子就不会死了。

我最想给儿子说的是，他姐姐出嫁了，嫁在邻村，她以前在成都打工，有个很好的小伙子喜欢她，家庭条件也不错，可她说不能嫁得远了，弟弟不在了，她要嫁得离娘家近一些，替弟弟照顾父母。

她总是不放心她妈和我，现在还是两头跑，婆家住几天，就又回来住几天，家里的东西也都是她在操持，今年外边的零工也不多了，我就不出去打工了，天天在家打打麻将、喝喝茶，儿子你在那边就放心吧。

李富鸽：要是儿活着，也该结婚了

儿子李勇去世的时候15岁，被压在向峨中学的教学楼下了，我在那儿忙了几天几夜，把他扒出来后，抬回来埋在他经常上学的路边上。

现在我最想给儿子说的是：勇儿，你又有个妹妹了，今年3岁，叫李贵妍。你妈妈天天在家照顾她，我在镇上一家工厂打工，一个月能挣3000多元，政府给分了新房，现在都住在小区里，家里原来的房子地震时垮了，现在政府都收回去租给了一家公司，每年分几次给租金，我们吃不愁穿不愁，儿子你在那边别牵挂，每年5·12纪念日我和你妈都会去给你烧些纸钱，你活着的时候想要的新衣服、新鞋子没舍得给你买，现在都买了烧给你，儿子你还想要啥，给爸爸托个梦，爸爸给你买。

还有个喜事儿要给你讲，你的同班同学张贵强今年5月12日要结婚了，他是你们班唯一逃出来的一个，地震时他提前出来上厕所了，被压在厕所里一天一夜，被扒出来时只受了点轻伤。现在我们这附近和他年纪差不多的小伙和姑娘都不多，他找了个高山上的女孩子，我们好多家长都商量好了结婚那天要去，一定要热闹热闹，好多年没办喜事儿了。我的勇儿，要是你还活着，也该结婚了。

记者手记 为了不遗忘

5·12汶川特大地震发生后，我第一时间赶往灾区，与战士们一起吃住在临时搭建的帐篷内，参与了遇难者遗体的挖掘和掩埋，目睹了灾难后的生离死别，也见证了发生在这里的危房爆破和板房搭建……其间，我分别在都江堰、映秀，为10户家庭拍过合影。

当时筛选这10户家庭时我遵循了这样的原则：一是孩子在地震中遇难;二是夫妻双方都健在;三是房屋在地震中消失。

当时，我在他们房屋原址废墟上给他们拍合影时，这些夫妻都不约而同地在中间空出一个人或两个人的位置，我知道，这是留给他们刚刚遇难的孩子的。

一周年，我重回灾区回访时，分别给他们送去了当年的合影，并再次为他们在帐篷前拍下合影，并约定下一年会准时给他们送去。
