In China, Mid-autumn Day is considered to be a symbol of family reunion. On this day, all the family members gather together at home to celebrate this special occasion. As a high school student, I consider English a very important subject. In order to learn it well, apart from English class, I take an active part in English corner and other after-class English activities, which benefit me a lot.

In the English corner, I meet many friends, who share the same interest with me. Besides, sometimes some foreigners are glad to join us. By talking with them, my oral English improved a lot. I also find it useful to keep English diaries. I have been keeping on doing it for years and it is helpfl to my English. As a saying goes, practice makes perfect. What’s more, I can learn a lot, which play an important part in my study process.

My Christmas Day

Chritmas is the day that Jesus Christ was born. people in the world celebrate and worship this day in his honor. The santa claus will come out and send presents for children. Christmas cards and decorated trees are all over the place. The carolling of Christmas songs echo through the air. I am not a Chirstian, but I also enjoy the atmosphere of Chrismas. I wish everybody have a merry Chirismas.

One winter afternoon, I went to the balcony to wash my hands. Suddenly I saw a bird hiding in the corner of the balcony, trembling all over. I crept close to the bird and saw a broken wing on the birds wing. It was still bleeding. I see a bird fly near it, but dont fly to the corner close to the eyes, staring at me, afraid I hurt it, a faint voice.

I quickly called mom, mom said: “ Oh, this bird is so dirty, hurry away. &rdquo: I quickly said, "&ldquo, no, no, the bird is good for the birds. The little bird is hurt again. Its pathetic. His mother cant find it. Itll hurt.". &rdquo, mum nodded.

I put the bird in a pot, help it deal with the wound, then sprinkle some millet in a pot, put a glass of water.

A few days later, the bird got hurt and played with me, singing and singing as if to say, "&ldquo, boy, thank you."! ”

One day, when I went to see the bird again, I suddenly found the bird disappeared. I think the bird should be looking for mother and son!
