感恩节是美国加拿大独有的节日。它的起源于300多年前一批100多人的欧洲移民到了美国,饥寒交迫很难活下来,大部分人在头一年的冬天就冻死饿死了,剩下的50多人,在当地原居民印第安人的帮助下,学会了钓鱼、打猎、种玉米和南瓜,这些人在第二年喜庆丰收的时候,举行了感谢上帝的庆祝活动,并且邀请印第安人一起参加。这就是感恩节的由来。后来,美国林肯总统宣布每一年11月的第四个星期四为感恩节,从此美国就有了新的公休日了。

被采纳的独立宣言是由维吉尼亚州的理察·亨利·李提交给大陆议会的,在独立宣言中写道:“我们以这些殖民地的善良人民的名义和权力,谨庄严地宣布并昭告:这些联合殖民地从此成为、而且名正言顺地应当成为自由独立的合众国;它们解除对于英王的一切隶属关系,而它们与大不列颠王国之间的一切政治联系亦应从此完全废止。”

委员会的成员由马萨诸塞州的约翰·亚当斯、宾夕法尼亚州的本杰明·弗兰克林、维吉尼亚的杰斐逊、纽约的罗伯特·R·利文斯通和康乃狄克的罗杰·谢尔曼组成,并被组成以起草合适的宣言。杰斐逊起草了很大一部分。在宣言被大陆议会采纳以前,在刑事法庭上被重写,其中一个被移除的篇章涉及奴隶制度。

托马斯。杰斐逊(1743——1826)作为一个包括约翰。亚当斯和班哲明。富兰克林在内的起草委员会的成员,起草了美国《独立宣言》的第一稿。大陆议会对杰斐逊的草稿作了重大改动,特别是在乔治亚州和南卡罗来纳州代表们的坚持下,删去了他对英王乔治三世允许在殖民地存在奴隶制和奴隶买卖的有力谴责。(被删去的内容中一部分是这样写的:“他向人性本身发动了残酷的战争,侵犯了一个从未冒犯过他的远方民族的最神圣的生存权和自由权,他诱骗他们,并把他们运往另一半球充当奴隶,或使他们惨死在运送途中。”)1776年7月4日,大陆会议通过了这份宣言。

托马斯。杰斐逊生于维吉尼亚一个富裕的家庭。他曾就读于威廉玛丽学院,并于1767年在维吉尼亚获得律师资格。1769年,他当选为维吉尼亚下院议员,并积极参加独立运动,而且代表维吉尼亚出席大陆议会。他两次当选为维吉尼亚州长,还担任过美国驻法大使。1800年他竞选总统时,与阿伦。伯尔所得选举人票数相等,后由众议院选择杰斐逊当总统。

杰斐逊曾写道,《独立宣言》是“吁请世界的裁判”。自1776年以来,《独立宣言》中所体现的原则就一直在全世界为人传诵。美国的改革家们,不论是出于什么动机,不论是为了废除奴隶制,禁止种族隔离或是要提高妇女的权利,都要向公众提到“人人生而平等”。不论在什么地方,当人民向不民主的统治作斗争时,他们就要用杰斐逊的话来争辩道,政府的“正当权力是经被治者同意所授予的”。

篇4:美国动作片《速度与激情8》观后感

众所周知,速度与激情系列里颜值最高的两位男主角分别在戏里和戏外过世,而新加入的角色又是斯坦森和巨石强森这样的“绝顶”猛男,因此速激8可能是近年来主角秃顶率最高的影片。

一路跟着这系列走下来的观众可能都有和我一样的疑惑:这帮1里的小混混是怎么变成如今这种三天两头拯救一次世界的超人的?按现在这种战斗力膨胀速度,我非常怀疑下部速激会跟星战联动,一起去太空飙歼星舰,拯救银河帝国。

保罗沃克的去世对速激系列和范迪塞尔的打击有多大我们身为外人永远无法体会,但投资方已经不可能让这个盈利如雪球般越滚越大的系列因保罗的离去而成为绝唱了,为了弥补失去保罗给明星阵容带来的损失,速8里饰演肖兄弟的杰森斯坦森和卢克伊万斯回归系列,并一举上升到主角团地位。同时演技颜值一个不落的查理兹塞隆也加入本片当反派。

速激8的大场面与CGI达到了系列巅峰,想象力十足,但个人认为最出色的一场戏反而是开场那段相对“平淡无奇”的竞速戏,后面的僵尸车戏场面有了,但视觉效果并未比1V1的竞速强多少,反而让人感觉有些杂乱无章。速度与激情是以街头竞速成名的,发展到现在竞速反而成了添头,看点已经转移到爆炸和CGI画面上了,固然炸翻天的戏群众喜闻乐见,但在有变形金刚碟中谍妇联的现在,我们真的那么需要另一部插科打诨在CGI中拯救世界的流水线片子吗?就我个人而言,我最喜欢的是速激早期那种单纯的竞速,在肌肉车的轰鸣中快意恩仇,整个故事围绕在一个相对小而闭塞的环境中发生,决定正与邪的只有引擎的转速。现在速激里的黑客对决,打飞机飚坦克真的能比以前那种纯粹的竞速更能刺激观众们的肾上腺素吗?我有些怀疑。在我旁边的黑人小哥整场电影最激动的时刻就是开场的竞速戏,而最后半小时的潜艇战他是摊在座位上的…

有很多人喜欢说速激这类片子剧情是无足轻重的,光看特效就值,不过我认为电影这种载体无论是什么体裁剧情都是基本,就像一碗盖浇饭无论菜肴多么美味,没有米饭也是不完整的,它可以不是主角,但不能不及格。而速激8的剧情和逻辑在我看来是不那么过关的。

剧情的梗概不剧透了,只说两点我最无法理解的情节,首先是这片多米尼克黑化的剧情突出一个牵强,为了拯救两个家人对反派言听计从去怼另一些家人?这还是以前那个义薄云天的唐老大吗?不说别的,跟这种百分百撕票的反派打交道时人质有意义么?在人质被撕票了一半后还能冷静的继续为反派做事也是够能忍的。固然影片中结局一定是皆大欢喜正义战胜邪恶,但“跟恐怖分子谈条件合作”这个剧情大纲有些太过神秘,而且反派被渲染成了系列最大boss结果却找了唐老大这个注定会反水的角色来为他们做事心也太大了。

另一个无法接受的情节就是肖兄弟的洗白,出于上面说过的原因,郭达斯坦森的上位是商业需求的必然结果,但在戏里他可是杀死吉赛尔和韩的直接凶手啊,就这么一笑泯恩仇甚至让他加入伐木累真的没问题吗?唐老大是个什么人8部片子很清楚的告诉我们了,你敢动我家人一根手指我砍你全家的狠角色,然而杀害家人的血海深仇因为救个儿子就这么算了?难道是因为郭达的光头格外有光泽让他有了惺惺相惜的感情?照这么说下部片子塞隆妥妥加入主角团,毕竟她才杀了唐老大一个家人,郭达可是杀了俩哪。

而剧中的一些其他情节也让我很想吐槽,比如塞隆和多米尼克多次冗长的探讨人生,除了告诉我们塞隆女王的颜无懈可击外毫无意义,比如塞隆和黑客妹对着不存在的CGI屏幕互相斗法的情节,简直是神仙打架,观感很一般。

演员方面范迪塞尔一如既往的稳,表情从迷之微笑和苦大仇深两个选项里娴熟的切换。巨石强森继续扮演绿巨人,一拳打死牛。而为了洗白角色,杰森斯坦森成了彻底的搞笑角色来拉进观众的距离,不得不说跟前一部的boss形象有点脱节。塞隆女王是片子最大的亮点,气场极其强大,而那种蛇蝎美人的危险感也是十足,抢天眼那场戏的戎装扮相非常英姿飒爽,从发型到服装都让我想到了MGS3中的The Boss,然而她却叫cipher,真是讽刺(这梗没人懂吧…)。

总结:速激8维持了系列一贯出色的视觉体验,新旧角色的表现都很棒,但大场面过多竞速戏过少让我不太满意,剧情弱智出新高度,尺度放到世界级但格局小的可以,强行洗白反派让我这种吉赛尔夫妇粉无法接受。国内版强行3D有些无耻,这片子根本没什么3D场面。6.5/10,推荐喜欢好莱坞特效片的观众去看IMAX版,然后用一小时忘掉它的剧情。

河上吹来的凉风令人神清气爽,这次坐游船,我们可以看到著名的“自由女神像”。

自由女神像和制作它的雕塑家还有个故事:

创作这一艺术杰作的是19世纪后期一位才华横溢的雕塑家,他的名字叫弗雷德里克·奥古斯特·巴托尔迪。1834年巴托尔迪出生在法国的一个意大利人家庭。他从青年时代起就酷爱雕塑艺术,自由女神的形象很早就存在于他的心目中了。1851年路易·拿破仑·波拿巴发动政变推翻第二共和国后的一天,一群坚定的共和党人在街头筑起防御工事,暮色苍茫时,一个年轻姑娘手持熊熊燃烧的火炬,跃过障碍物,高呼“前进”的口号向敌人冲去,波拿巴分子的枪声响了,姑娘倒在血泊中。巴托尔迪亲自目睹这一事实,心情久久不能平静。从此这位高攀火炬的勇敢姑娘就成为他心中自由的象征。

1865年,巴托尔迪在别人的提议下,决定塑造一座象征自由的塑像,由法国人民捐款,作为法国政府送给美国政府庆祝美国独立100周年的礼物。有趣的是:没过多久,巴托尔迪在一次婚礼上同一位名叫让娜的姑娘邂逅,让娜长得美丽端庄,仪态万方。巴托尔迪认为让她来为“照亮全球的”自由神像做模特是十分相称的,让娜欣然同意这一要求。

1869年自由神像的草图设计完成,巴托尔迪便开始全心全意地投入雕塑工作。他曾去过美国旅行,争取美国人对塑像计划的支持,但美国人迟迟没有意识到这一礼品的珍贵。直到1876年巴托尔迪参加在费城举行的庆祝独立100周年博览会时,为了引起公众的注意,便把自由女神执火炬的手在博览会上展出,才引起一场轰动。摆在人们面前的这只手仅食指就长达2.44米,直径1米多,指甲厚25厘米,火炬的边沿上可以站12个人。于是这件几天前还鲜为人知的雕塑品顿时身价百倍,成为美国人人渴望欣赏的艺术珍品。

我们登上游船,上到二楼。河上吹来的风甚为凉爽,把我额头上的头发撩到后面去了,后面的头发都顺着风,被吹成了“迎风飘扬”的发型。

只见宽阔无比的东河,泛着蓝蓝的波浪,沿河的地方,要么是楼房镶嵌在绿树小山之间,要么就是高楼拔地而起,一派繁荣景象;远处,水天一色的蓝,河面上泛起的粼粼波光,白白的,水和天似乎没有界限,天空上的白云也异常洁白。我隐隐约约看见右前方,有一座雕塑伫立在那里,那个就应该是自由女神像了吧,我想。

不远了,就在前面1百米处,自由女神像高高举着火炬,温柔和蔼又不失镇定稳重,蓝天白云下,自由女神像宛如一座淡青色的玉雕。这时,一只小帆船经过,更为这一幅秀丽的画添了一道亮丽的风景线。

大国崛起美国篇分为了两集,新国新梦和危局新政。对于纪录片的具体情节已不必赘述,以下所写乃是观看该片后对于美国文化的些许片段的思考。

提到美国,我们会联想诸多,诸如美国梦、自由女神像、Michael Jackson、Hollywood、NBA等等。如今,美国元素正如潮水般涌入中国,年轻人对美国更是推崇备至,无限向往。我们打小就知道美国是一个年轻的国家,但我们同样疑惑于既然是如此年轻的国家,又怎么会在如此短的时间内变得这般强大,到现在我渐渐感觉年轻正是这个国家的优势,没有历史沉淀的同时更没有历史包袱,这给了美国人充分的发展空间,因为无论怎么做,他们终将创造历史。而我们自己却时常嘲笑别人是没有历史的民族,夸耀自己的民族有多么深厚的历史底蕴,殊不知历史给我们这个民族带来了多少的伤害,每一次王朝的更迭无不是建立在人民流血牺牲的基础上的,频发的战争使人民苦不堪言,一将功成万骨枯的故事我们已不知听过多少次。而两千多年的封建思想更是禁锢了一代又一代人,甚至在辛亥革命之后都能发生袁世凯称帝以及张勋复辟这样的闹剧,而军阀(实际上的“土皇帝”)割据混战更是达到数十年之久,可见封建思想对民众毒害之深。如果一味追怀属于历史的荣耀,我们必将停止不前,这样的教训实在是太多,自明清开始我们的科技发明一直停滞不前,渐渐落后于西方,我们发明了指南针和火药,而西方列强却靠着指南针驾驶着军舰用火炮轰开了天朝的国门,此时的贵族们也许还在观看缤纷的烟火。

谈及美国无法回避众人皆知的美国梦,这在众多的电影中都有所体现。美国梦是一种理想,一种情愫,无数世界各地的人涌向美国,希望在这个机会众多的国度获得成功。事实上这些移民大都得以成功,因为他们足够勤奋。因此美国梦还包含着进取独立的精神。

我觉得美国最值得推崇的是其科学技术与教育。人类工业史上的诸多发明均来自美国,有我们熟知的生产线、飞机、电灯、电话、计算机等等。在20世纪策划了著名的三大计划即曼哈顿原子能计划、阿波罗登月计划、人类基因组计划。在科学研究方面,美国学者获得了大量诺贝尔奖。我们国家已经是世界制造业中心,现在正在由“中国制造”向“中国创造”转变,而这一过程无疑是漫长的,所以重视科学技术显得尤为重要。科学技术的发展需要大量人才,在美国,教育制度尤为完善,教育发展水平,尤其是高等教育水平极高,有很多我们耳熟能详的大学,诸如哈佛大学、耶鲁大学、普林斯顿大学、麻省理工学院、斯坦福大学、加州理工学院这六所高校每次的世界大学排名都能进前10。美国的其他许多院校也有很强的竞争力,在世界排名前500大学中,美国占168所,前20名中,美国占17所。每年都有许多世界各地的大学生慕名前来深造。而在中国,虽然教育体系比较完整,但关于教育制度弊端的讨论一直没有停止,教育制度的改革也已进行多次,却没能得到理想的结果。至于高等教育,中国的高校虽多,但真正有竞争力的却在少数,大学课程难以联系实际,使得学生面向社会时普遍面临众多困难,因为他们在大学根本学不到多少有用的东西。

美国文化的主要内容是强调个人价值,追求民主自由,崇尚开拓和竞争,讲求理性和实用,其核心是通过个人奋斗、个人自我设计,追求个人价值的最终实现。美国公众注重成就,仰慕英雄,有深厚的成就崇拜和英雄崇拜的心理积淀。美国人有很强的成就意识。成功是所有美国人的追求,是诱人的前景,前进的动力。他们坚信,一个人的价值就等于他在事业上的成就。一些事业有成的企业家、科学家、艺术家和各类明星,成了新时代的英雄。他们个人奋斗的过程和结果,成了社会文化价值取向的参照系,父母教育子女的活教材。

如何成为大国,或者说大国之谜是什么,单一的因素肯定是错误的,应该有很多的因素,诸如要有凝聚力,重视思想文化和科学技术,善于学习但决不简单模仿。

成为大国后,大国间的较量说到底是国民素质的较量,是人才的较量。我不相信所谓的中国人的劣根性,那是对自己盲目的否定,是妄自菲薄,只能说我们的国民素质亟待提高,而途径是唯一的,那就是注重教育,培养真正的人才。

大国崛起是一部难得的好片,关于大国的讨论永远也不会停止,至少在国家这一概念消亡之前不会中断,而我所希望的唯有中国真正的崛起。

今天,我到网上去查找一些办手抄报的资料。无意中我发现一个网页上面写着:寻找美国白蛾等字样。我点击打开来看,哦!原来是动员大家来捉美国白蛾的蛹。上面写着一只美国白蛾能产一万多只卵,繁殖速度相当的快,并且用药物无法将它们消灭。于是我决定和姐姐一起去捉美国白蛾的卵。说干就干,网上说美国白蛾喜欢在树底下潮湿的环境中生活。我灵机一动,想起我们家附近就有一片树林,我们就去那儿找吧,我和姐姐一说,她马上同意了,带上工具我们就出发了。

来到树林我们先找到一棵大树在树底下挖起来,可一连挖了几棵树都没有发现一只白蛾卵,并且树的周围全是让我们翻过的土,我们有点想打退堂鼓了。我和姐姐商量再找一会儿如果还没有就回家。正当我们失望至极时,只听姐姐一声尖叫:“啊!”“姐姐有什么新发现吗?”我问,姐姐高兴地说∶“快看,一只白蛾蛹。”“太棒了!”我高兴地蹦了起来。赶快把我们第一只劳动成果小心翼翼的放到事先准备好的瓶子里,发现了一个蛹以后我们就更有信心了我和姐姐接着挖,一连挖了好多个,越挖越起劲……

最后我们带着胜利的成果,高兴地回家了。

当时,我、妈妈、还有胖哥哥他们一行人看完日本企业馆之后,我们就打开地图,坐上了到美国馆大巴车。让我们一起向美国馆进军吧!

我们到了美国馆、排完了美国馆的队伍,我们几个人就进了美国馆的内部,一共有四个部份,第一部份是介绍美国人如何学中文;第二部份是讲美国精神;第三部份如何保护家园;第四部份是卖美国产品。其中令我最难忘的是第一个部分。一到里面就有一个美国人,是个讲解员。会全部的中文还有汉字,而且说的有模有样的。他先问了“这里有没有上海人?”只有两、三、四、个人回答说:“有。”然后,他又明知顾问的问到:“这里有中国人?”这里的一大部分人几乎都异口同声地整齐地大声的喊道:“这不是废话吗!当然有啦!”就连在旁边的保安也是这么说。然后,更好笑的是:他又用标准的中文问了一句:“这里有没有美国人?”这时全场几乎没有任何人回答。他又用中文告诉我们,可能这里的美国人都听不懂中文啊。于是,他就用英语说:“这里有没有美国人?”这就有一些美国人用英语说:“YES!”我也造假说:“YES!”不过,还好,没被发现。之后,通过观看10分钟的4D播放,美国人学习中文的精彩场面,让全场游客乐的见牙不见眼。

前年暑假,我和妹妹、妈妈一起去美国旧金山附近游玩。我的舅舅就住在那里。

一次,舅舅开着车,带我们去海滩游玩。这里是个人少悠闲的地方,这里有很多的树木,空气格外清新,与上海截然不同。而夏日的美国旧金山更是阳光灿烂,气候宜人,我暗自庆幸躲过了上海炎热的夏季。我们沿着海岸走,这里绿树成荫,蓝蓝的海水冲刷在礁石上,十分美丽。舅舅说,这里不是我们的目的地,我们要去的“Snow Beach”,还在前面。

穿过树林,我看见了我们要去的地方。啊,真不愧为“白雪海滩”!这里的沙子不是金黄色的,而是雪白雪白的,加上碧蓝的海水,那景色漂亮极了!

有许多人在沙滩上,有的在玩沙滩球;有的在冲浪;有的在玩飞盘;还有更多的人只是躺在沙滩上享受着着日光浴。我和家人铺好了野餐垫,撑起了太阳伞,再享用美味可口的三明治和果汁。

在浅海里可以游泳和冲浪。清澈的水底有许许多多五彩缤纷的贝壳。那时正好在涨潮,我和蕾蕾向着迎面而来的海浪跳过去,与海水比赛。远远望去,就像镶着白色花边的蓝色丝绸,泳入雪白的沙滩。我喜欢用这洁白如玉的沙子,垒起沙堡,就像一座“雪宫”。玩累了,可以在沙滩上拾贝壳,或者在沙滩上睡觉。夕阳下,落日的余晖照耀在海面上,一片鲜红。我提着一桶美丽的贝壳回到了宾馆。

今年4月,途牛旅游网计划在纳斯达克上市,拟融资1.2亿美元,主攻在线休闲游。5月9日,继携程、艺龙、去哪儿网后,途牛旅游网成为登陆纳斯达克的第四家中国在线旅游企业,成为美股市场上第一家专注于在线休闲旅游的中国公司,口号是“要旅游,找途牛”。

市场对途牛的热情出乎不少人意料:仅仅半个月,途牛股价最高涨幅已超100%;到8月8日,股价最高触及25美元,已经比9美元的上市发行价上涨了178%。途牛的市值为10亿美元,而持股10.9%的于敦德,其身家超过1亿美元,成为亿万富豪。

对于敦德来说,途牛旅游网抓住了中国人出国“跟团游”的商机,途牛的火爆也再一次印证了资本市场对中国在线旅游市场高预期值。

他说,途牛主打的“跟团游”跟亚洲人的旅游文化有关。“我们在中国跟团游这个市场是排在第一位的。欧洲人和美国人基本上出门旅游,在语言上不会有太大的问题,因为很多目的地都是讲英语的国家。但是在亚洲,以韩国、日本和中国为首的,大多数人都只会讲本国语,对英语的掌握程度不太高,所以‘跟团’的需求就比较大。”“亚洲人第一次去一个地方,多数都倾向于选择跟团。现在,因为中国城市的消费层次、文化差异、英语水平不同,所以,一线城市中的自助游增长比例比较快,在二三线城市,跟团游仍然是最主流的产品类型。”

于敦德说,随着互联网接受程度越来越高,越来越多的客户会在互联网上购买高“客单价”的产品。目前,途牛网平均一个跟团游订单是1.3万元,自助游平均一个订单是1.5万元。“人生从来没有捷径,追求梦想需要有一股子敢拼敢闯的牛劲和永不言弃的精神。”于敦德说,“‘牛人’还在一路狂奔。”

今年8月5日,第一站,我们去了有名的好莱坞星光大道,那里好壮观呀!我们看见了颁发电影奥斯卡金像奖的地方,还有好多明星的手印、脚印,迈克尔·杰克逊、李小龙、成龙……太多太多了,我数都数不过来。路边有人装扮成电影人物模样和你拍照,海盗船长、蜘蛛侠超人、怪物史莱克等等,都是电影里大家喜欢的人物。

下午,我们到了环球影城,在影城的“哈利·波特”城堡里有小型过山车玩。我最喜欢玩过山车了,我紧紧地拉着妈妈的手,说着说着就到了过山车入口的地方。好多人在排队,大家都很有秩序,头顶上还有小小的吹风会喷出冰凉的水汽,不知不觉就轮到我们了。天啊,过山车一分钟不到就结束了,妈妈吓得直叫唤,可是我一点也不害怕,真想多玩几次。

城堡里还有好多与哈利·波特电影有关的纪念品,妈妈帮我买了魔法斗篷和有神奇魔力的魔杖,真的是有神奇魔力的魔杖哦!只要你站在橱窗前挥舞魔杖做一个相应的动作,魔法就会显灵,橱窗里的摆设就会动起来。环球影城真的太好玩了,我还要再来玩!

篇14:美国科幻电影《时间规划局》观后感

科幻故事从what if开始,也就是从反事实的科幻假设开始。对科幻电影的最根本剧透,就是揭露它的原初假设〈但不必然泄漏剧情〉。本片的原初假设似乎是以下六条。

一、寿命转移。寿命可以从一个人身上转移到另一个人身上。在人际转移中,必须至少一方存在转移或接受转移的意愿,寿命才能转移。

因此,产生了寿命交易,寿命馈赠。偷窃或抢夺寿命也产生了。但寿命不能从人身往动物身上转移,反之亦然。应该附带解释一下:电影不太说寿命,而说「时间」,但事实上它谈的是寿命。

二、寿命储存。寿命可以从人身中转移出来,保存在某种容器里;也可以从容器中转移出来,进入人身;寿命也可以从一个容器转移到另一个容器。

本片对寿命的超人际转移着墨较少,这有点可惜。

三、寿命定值。至少在地球上,至少对人际转移来说,寿命值不因寿命转移而变化,也不存在转移耗损。

因此,爱因斯坦的一秒钟,转到我身上来也是我的一秒钟,不会变成我的一刻钟。当然,寿命如何定价是另一回事,这属于比较低阶的故事设定,取决于具体的经济制度。

四、可转移寿命。只有一个人25足岁之后的寿命,才是可转移寿命(似乎也只有在25足岁之后,才能接受他人的寿命转移)。

也就是说,假设今天有100个婴儿出生,又假设25年后它们都顺利长大,那么结果就是25年后的今天地球上将产生(甚至增加)100年可转移寿命 (为什么是100年而不是200年或500年,要看下一条)。

五、天然寿限与老化停止。每个人的天然寿命上限都是26年,但可以因为接受转移而无限制延寿。25足岁之后,老化停止。

也就是说:如果不考虑寿命转移,那么一个人的生物时钟在26足岁时会自动停止,导致立即死亡。如果考虑寿命转移,也就是结合上一条设定来看的话,那么一个人25足岁之後,一旦寿命收支不能平衡,就会立即死亡,甚至活不满26岁。

六、其它条件,都和目前已知人性和社会属性基本一致。例如性成熟年龄与婚姻制度 (我必须说还保留婚姻制度这点不合人性) 。

为什么设定成这样?----对科幻作者而言,这问题没有意义。但对观众而言,这问题大有意义。如果科幻故事的设定不恰当,观众将难以产生共鸣甚至难以理解,科幻电影将丧失它的预言性或寓言性。

我觉得本片关于「天然寿限」与「可转移寿命」这两项设定(也是本片最重要的设定)的数字不太理想,减损了它的寓言价值。

依照本片的条件设定,残酷的竞争与剥削根本就是必然。如果大家都是自食其力渔猎采集完全不存在竞争与剥削,那么每个人都将在26岁死亡。但人类的性成熟年龄设定并未改变,26岁的男女可能连孩子都还没生出来,就算有孩子又能多大。我实在难以想象,在电影设定的世界里,如果不存在残酷的竞争与剥削,人类社会将如何延续,文化将如何传承。在电影设定的世界里,任何活过26岁的人都必然是剥削者。

更糟的是:时间压力如此紧迫,生育率必然下降。25岁的父母要养小孩,还要从事寿命竞争,这么辛苦谁还愿意生孩子。生育率低,社会上的可转移寿命总量就更少了(本片设定的长生不老必然来自年轻人的牺牲),这岂不教寿命资源竞争更加惨烈?

总之,本片的基本设定数值和现实人类世界差距过大。我们就像站在三维世界去看平面世界的小打小闹,觉得剧中人可怜又可悲。男女主角真正该去争取的改变,不是银行和资本家的破产,而是Andrew Niccol修改剧本,至少也该重启基因工程把25和1这两个数字改一改。

当然,如果有人从高维世界观察我们这个世界,也一定会觉得我们总是小打小闹,既可怜又可悲。在这点上,本片还是具有极强的寓言警世作用。当我听到女主角爸爸那银行家说「你们只能造成一时的混乱,但别想这样就改变了体制」的时候,还是悚然一惊。

美国推“气候复原基金”

由于加利福尼亚州经历了史上最严重的干旱,同时美国东部和中西部今冬遭遇最强暴风雪的袭击,奥巴马的“气候复原基金”获得美国社会的普遍支持。

2015年财政预算案中,美国环保局将利用78.9亿美元用于环境和健康保护。美国环保局表示,用于气候变化和空气质量的预算为10.3亿美元,比2014财年实际的支出水平提高了4 100万美元。

为什么美国文化独特

American culture is unique because it is nurtured, formed and developed under certain conditions, which are characteristically(特性)American. What is more, these elements are still influencing the American culture.

1. Rough Environment

The early immigrants who were English Puritans settled down in northeast part of American. The environment there was very rough but they believed the poor land could purify their mind so they chose the place along the coast. From 1607 to 1892, frontiers were pushed further west. The American frontier consisted of the relatively unsettled regions of the United States, usually found in the western part of the country. The frontiersmen looked for a land of rich resources and a land of promise, opportunity and freedom. Actually they looked for a better life. So individualism, self-reliance, and equality of opportunity have perhaps been the values most closely associated with the frontier heritage(遗产) of American.

2. Ethnic Diversity

The population of the United States includes a large variety of ethnic groups coming from many races, nationalities, and religions. People refer to the United States as "melting pot "and the dominant people are British. American is made up of WASP MM, that is, White, Anglo Saxon, Protestants plus Middle Class and Male. In history, people from different countries in the world rushed to American three times. They brought their own culture to American and later on different cultures were mixed together. Thus the unique American culture is formed, a common cultural life with commonly shared values.

3. Plural religion

The fundamental American belief in individual freedom and the right of individuals to practice their own religion is at the center of religious experience in the United States. The great diversity of ethnic backgrounds has produced religious pluralism; almost all of the religions of the world are now practiced in the United States. Christianity(基督教) is the dominant religion in American and Protestant (新教)is predominate(主导)。 Any individuals are equal before God and they believe they can communicate directly to God so they can share the same idea. Under the protestant, many new ones are formed and different explanations produce different sect of religion. Churches are independent and American religion is no longer religion seculars. 4. Current influence:

Nowadays, we can see the continual influence of the three elements in the current American society. American family is typically parents and their unmarried children. Middle-aged and elderly people generally do not live with their married children. Many Americans live in mobile homes whose homes are built with wheels. They can be moved. The people in American have a very strong desire to start a new life in a new place. Quite a number of people change residences(住所) every year. The average American moves fourteen times in his lifetime. The courage to try something new has been an American characteristic. American democracy means majority rule, but it also means protection of minority rights. There are certain freedom which the United States promises to all its citizens and members of minority group cannot be denied these rights by a vote of the majority. Americans also like to be involved in many challenge activities and sports to show their adventurous spirits. All of these are affected by the heritage of the American history.

From the facts above, we can see American culture is unique which was cultivated, formed and developed by the main three factors, rough environment, ethnic diversity and plural religion and still is affected and determined by them now.

Most companies provide an annual vacation for their employees, and people often use that time to travel. Some people just visit friends or relatives in distant states. Others go on low-budget weekend excursions and stay in economy motels. Those with more expensive tastes choose luxurious resorts and hotels. Camping out in the great outdoors appeals to adventurous types. Some travel in recreational vehicles (RVs) to camp out in comfort, while others "rough it"by sleeping in tents.

Most Americans prefer to travel within their nations borders. Why? For one thing, its cheaper than traveling abroad, and theres no language problem. But besides that, the vast American territory offers numerous tourist attractions. Nature lovers can enjoy beaches, mountains, canyons, lakes and a wealth of natural wonders. Major cities offer visitors a multitude of urban delights. The convenience of modern freeways, railways and airplanes makes travel in America as easy as pie.

Many American vacations are as unique as the people who take them. Families often plan their trips with the kids in mind. More and more "family friendly"vacation resorts offer special programs for children. History buffs seek out famous historical sites and museums. Environmentalists prefer "green vacations."These trips allow them to observe flora and fauna up-close without disturbing the sensitive balance of nature. Some people find sea cruises relaxing and refreshing. Others hit the water to go fishing, skiing or white-water rafting. Daring souls get the thrill of a lifetime on trekking expeditions and safaris in remote places from Africa to Asia.

Americans arent the only people in the world who travel. International business, mass communication and jet airplanes have created a world of globetrotters. People all over the world enjoy going abroad to travel. And no matter where they live, people enjoy visiting scenic spots in their own country. But being on the go makes Americans what they are: people on the move. In America, almost every-body is a tourist sometime.

Except for Thanksgiving turkey, its hard to find a typically "American"food. The United States is a land of immigrants. So Americans eat food from many different countries. When people move to America, they bring their cooking styles with them. Thats why you can find almost every kind of ethnic food in America. In some cases, Americans have adopted foods from other countries as favorites. Americans love Italian pizza, Mexican tacos and Chinese egg rolls. But the American version doesnt taste quite like the original!

As with any large country, the U.S.A has several distinct regions. Each region boasts its own special style of food. Visit the South and enjoy country-style cooking. Journey through Louisiana for some spicy Cajun cuisine. Take a trip to New England and sample savory seafood dishes. Travel through the Midwest, "the breadbasket of the nation,"for delicious baked goods. Cruise over to the Southwest and try some tasty Tex-Mex treats. Finish your food tour in the Pacific Northwest with some gourmet coffee.

Americans living at a fast pace often just "grab a quick bite."Fast food restaurants offer people on the run everything from fried chicken to fried rice. Microwave dinners and instant foods make cooking at home a snap. Of course, one of the most common quick American meals is a sandwich. If it can fit between two slices of bread, Americans probably make a sandwich out of it. Peanut butter and jelly is an all-time American favorite.

Americans on the go also tend to eat a lot of "junk food."Potato chips, candy bars, soft drinks and other goodies are popular treats. Many people eat too many of these unhealthy snacks. But others opt for more healthy eating habits. Some even go "all natural."They refuse to eat any food prepared with chemicals or additives.

American culture is a good illustration of the saying "you are what you eat."Americans represent a wide range of backgrounds and ways of thinking. The variety of foods enjoyed in the U.S. reflects the diversity of personal tastes. The food may be international or regional. Sometimes its fast, and sometimes its not so fast. It might be junk food, or maybe its natural food. In any case, the style is all-American.

What is the American Dream? Is it the same for all Americans? Is it a myth? Is it simply a search for a better life? How has the American Dream changed over time? Some see their dreams wither and die while others see their dreams fulfilled. Why? Everyone has dreams abut a personally fulfilled life... and what is your dream?

The term American Dream was first used by James Adams in his book The Epic of America which was written in 1931. He states: The American Dream is that dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement. It is a difficult dream for the European upper classes to interpret adequately, and too many of us ourselves have grown tired and mistrustful of it. It is not a dream of cars and high wages merely, but a dream of social order in which each man and each woman shall be able to get to the fullest stature of which they are capable, and be recognized by others for what they are, regardless of the fortuitous circumstances of birth or position."

Yet others look toward a new American Dream with less focus on financial gain and more emphasis on living a simple, fulfilling life.
