科里正在接受安全检查，突然收到小学同学的一条短信。告诉我，一个同学刚刚因驾车爆胎而丧命，将十五岁的儿子和七十五岁老母留给了年轻的妻子。

眼前一阵眩晕，两年前还曾见过那个同学，面孔依然清晰，活生生的人就这样瞬间消失了。同时也让我想起了早已远走的大学、高中时的四个同学，是雷击、烟花爆炸、失足坠楼、车祸，让他们无缘这个世界。

生命的脆弱，让我再一次想起“安全”两个字。人人都知道要注意安全，大道理谁都懂，生产要安全，个人更要安全。可是，真正实现安全，太难了。

自身的意识最重要，可是安全意识的培养不是一朝一夕的事情。每次带女儿过马路，我总是要她遵守交通规则，等灯绿再过，可是每次遇到没车的时候，不管是否变灯，她都要急着闯过去，还振振有词地和我辩论。一个小小的孩子，树立安全意识都很难，何况一个成人呢？常见路边建筑施工，那些工人站在脚手架上，根本不系安全带，有的安全帽也不带，估计他们更不可能接受过登高这一特种作业的培训或者取得相关证件。是管理者无视他们的安全，还是他们不在乎自己的生命呢？双方应该都有原因。据讲，杜邦公司对外组织各种业务活动时，对于新入住宾馆的人，首先要对其讲解宾馆逃生路线，就餐开始前又集中介绍餐厅逃生路线，这本是杜邦公司安全文化的一个体现，但是很多参加活动的人都不理解，认为是在搞形式。可见安全意识的形成无论对于哪个年龄、哪个层次的人来说，都是一个漫长艰难的过程。

即使有了安全意识，现实生活中，受环境和条件的限制，各种不安全因素有时会让你避之不及或铤而走险。女儿外语课外班，前段时间搬到一个新楼里，只能坐电梯上下楼，楼梯那边暂时不能使用。一个家长指出，这太不安全了，紧急的时候孩子怎么逃生啊？这时大家也纷纷意识到，这确实是一个安全问题。可是，就在楼梯问题并没有解决的那段时间，孩子们还是都来上课了，不然落下的课程怎么办呢？还有，商场的装修总是在不断升级，可是基本没有哪个商场会完全停业装修，多半是这边营业，那边叮叮当当、吱吱哇哇地装修，任凭噪音和甲醛等毒害物质对员工和顾客肆意地伤害。顾客还好，可以尽量不逛街，或者去别处逛，而且顾客接触的时间也很短。那些员工呢，至少要八个小时以上处在那样的环境下，可是又不能不上班，他们还要生活啊！

无知或是无奈，可以成为我们忽视安全的理由。可是生命只有一次，我们没有理由忽视生命。
