By the beginning of the Tang Dynasty in the seventh century， the lantern displays would last three days. The emperor also lifted the curfew， allowing the people to enjoy the festive lanterns day and night.

In the Song Dynasty， the festival was celebrated for five days and the activities began to spread to many of the big cities in China.

Today，3the displaying of lanterns is still a big event on the 15th day of the first lunar month throughout China.

The fillings inside the dumplings or Yuansiao are either sweet or salty. Sweet fillings are made of sugar，Walnuts，sesame，osmanthus flowers，rose petals，or jujube paste etc. A single ingredient or any combination can be used as the filling . The salty variety is filled with minced meat，vegetables etc.

Today is the annual Lantern Festival. Speak of the Lantern Festival everybody will be talking about watching lanterns. The lanterns are really everything, there is the peacock lamp, bright red orange lamp, regimes, split, chang e...

The Lantern Festival this day, our family on the city square! Stroll, heart couldnt help thinking: this is to navigate in the sky, or in wonderland? I cant believe this is yuanxiao nights wandering the streets. I wear in the comings and goings of stream of people, came to the most lively place, I stand on a higher stage looked around in, saw the elegant peacock lamp, a symbol of auspicious red orange lamp, with a glass of regimes, and exquisite "split", "chang e", "wuyi scenery"... Everything in the lights of radiation this flowery glorious, really let a person too many things to see, dazzling.

But only the lamp is too boring! For people, however, public plaza have many performances, are: the dragon dance, tai chi, and so on. Especially the dragon dance is the most good-looking. A vibrant faucet is grandpa play to life. Sometimes, when grandpa also put the head turned several rounds. See come out is two big dragon, one is yellow, another is blue, very beautiful. 今天是一年一度的元宵节。一说起元宵节大家一定会说起看花灯。这花灯可真是应有尽有，有孔雀灯、大红橘灯、走马灯、天女散花、嫦娥奔月......

元宵节这天，我们一家人在市民广场上!逛着，心里不由得想：这是在遨游天空，还是在梦游仙境?我真不敢相信这是元宵之夜的街市游逛。我在来来往往的人流中穿来挤去，来到最热闹的地方，我站在一个比较高的石台上放眼四望，看见了那典雅的孔雀灯，象征着吉庆的大红橘灯，镶有玻璃镜的走马灯，还有精巧的“天女散花”、“嫦娥奔月”、“武夷风光”......一切都在灯火中放射这绚丽光彩，真让人目不暇接，眼花缭乱。

可是只有灯火实在太单调了!不过，市民广场给人们准备了许多表演，有：舞龙、太极拳，等等。尤其是舞龙最好看。一个生机勃勃的龙头被老爷爷耍得活灵活现。有时候，老爷爷们还把龙头转了几圈。只见出来的是两条巨大的龙，一条是黄色的，另一条是蓝色的，非常漂亮。两条龙在空中吞云吐雾、上下翻腾，不时摆出一个个精彩的造型，引来观众一阵阵热烈的掌声。后来又出来一条金色的龙，它披着金色的外衣，在月亮地照耀下金光闪闪，显得十分壮观。

月亮渐渐西落我依依不舍地离开。但观灯的人还是络绎不绝，各种彩色的灯像天上的繁星一样，大放光彩。真是“一夜花灯醉，只缘春意浓。”

he Lantern Festival is a very busy day. On the Lantern Festival this year, I went to the small square with my mom and dad to watch the Lantern Festival. When we walk on the road, I see the small square is a sea of people, very lively. I cant wait to get a small square, where the lights are all kinds of pagoda shaped, with lights, big fish shaped lamps, saw a whoosh, a fireworks into the sky, in the sky from colorful light.

I hurriedly took my tiger lamp join make lanterns, after my father and I go to fireworks.

Fireworks can be interesting. So many kinds of fireworks! Some on the left of the gun... People are respect, suddenly, a naughty kid threw jilt cannons, people scared hiding; I followed papa fired cannons sky it spray flame, 1 of "pa" exploded and emits the colorful flowers.

The Lantern Festival is really interesting!

元宵节是我国的传统节日，每年元宵节要吃汤圆，放烟花。

妈妈煮好汤圆了，我迫不及待的夹起一个放在嘴里，妈妈大叫;“小心点，别烫着。”咬上一口馅慢慢地流了出来，粘粘的。甜甜的味道好极了!

元宵节可少不了观花灯。吃完元宵，我和爸爸来到阳头广场。这里的花灯可真多啊!有“奔跑”的老虎。“吃草”的兔子。还有在“游动”的鱼儿。真是五花八门!都成了灯的海洋。光的世界!爸爸给我买了一个兔子花灯。只要一按按纽。兔儿便会唱起欢乐的歌。我连忙拿起我的老虎灯加入闹花灯的行列，之后我和爸爸去放烟花。

放烟花可有趣了。烟花的种类真多!有的还有的在放甩炮……人们正看得起劲，忽然，一个淘气的小朋友扔甩炮，人们吓得四处躲藏;我跟着爸爸放礼炮它喷着火焰天空冲去，“啪”的一声爆炸了，放出五彩的鲜花。

元宵节真有趣!

我们这里到了正月十五一定要放花。昨天是正月十四我们这里也是要放花的。一是为了祈求在新的一年里风调雨顺。二是为了祭祖。这天的晚上人们都走出家门，来到南大港广场。我也不例外，早早的来到了广场。那场面简直是人山人海、摩肩接踵，这时才会感到自己多么的渺小。花还没放之前，人们有谈话的、有买小吃的、有放花的……。

突然之间灯全都灭了，人们都赶快离开花架子，不一会的功夫人们全都找到了自己合适的地方。在这时，三声礼花炸响之声，凌空飞洒而下，人们都齐声惊呼。嘈杂声、敲打声、小贩的吆喝声都停止下来。人们盼望的时刻终于到来了。气花支支腾空，如万箭齐发。这是挂在高处的瀑布花也被点着，好像下起了夜光雨。

“通通通”又有三礼花升上天空，人们都抬头叫好，那礼花宛如一朵巨大的花在天空绽放。那礼花的光线如流星飞窜、如流虹百道。缕缕白烟在蓝黑色的天空中清晰可见。

树上的花也被引花引燃，几十架花筒喷出金屑，人们称为“铁树开花”。本来光秃秃的树顿时变成金光灿烂的仙树，树下的人们抱头逃窜。

广场的花架也怒放了，大小礼花齐名，五光十色，金屑喷涌。都然之间喷起了十几米高的火树林，人们都拿出手机，拍下这一伟大的场面。

人们都抬头观望，等待着花的熄灭，祈求着花的永久。花会结束了，人都涌回家。我还依依不舍的回头观看最后几只小小的礼花。
