看着看着，忽然发现前面黑压压一大片人，是什么灯把他们吸引过去了呢？我和妈妈挤过去一看，嗬！是两个娃娃抱着一棵摇钱树，在不停地摇呢，我仿佛看见树下落了一大堆的钱币，在闪闪发光，我又仿佛看见这些钱一下子都变成了崭新的书本，被汽车拖往贫困的山区……“艺艺，快看多少猴子呦！”妈妈的话打断了我的联想，我一看，好家伙，旁边还有一棵结满桃子的大桃树，树上树下全是猴子。一只大猴子已经摘到了桃子，正大口大口地吃呢！一只懒猴坐在地上就摘到了桃子，还有几只干脆趴在树上一边摘一边吃。人们都在看着猴子，它们好像有点不好意思了！

我们随着人流往前走，又看见了孔雀开屏灯、凤凰灯、飞船灯、地球灯……真是应有尽有，形状各异。

街边还有许多卖花灯的，妈妈给我买了一个，可有趣了，两只小猴围着中间的玉米棒随着音乐灯爬上爬下。我要让这盏小灯笼照亮我的小房间，就像工人叔叔用美丽的彩灯照亮整个宿城一样！

According to the Chinese tradition，at the very beginning of a new year，

when there is a bright full moon hanging in the sky， there should be thousands

of colorful lanterns hung out.

During the Lantern Festival， people will try to solve the puzzles on the

lanterns and eat yuanxiao (glutinous rice ball)。

In the Sui Dynasty in the sixth century， Emperor Yangdi invited envoys from

other countries to China to see the colorful lighted lanterns and enjoy the gala

performances.

By the beginning of the Tang Dynasty in the seventh century， the lantern

displays would last three days. The emperor also lifted the curfew， allowing the

people to enjoy the festive lanterns day and night.

In the Song Dynasty， the festival was celebrated for five days and the

activities began to spread to many of the big cities in China.

Today，3the displaying of lanterns is still a big event on the 15th day of

the first lunar month throughout China.

The fillings inside the dumplings or Yuansiao are either sweet or salty.

Sweet fillings are made of sugar，Walnuts，sesame，osmanthus flowers，rose petals，or

jujube paste etc. A single ingredient or any combination can be used as the

filling . The salty variety is filled with minced meat，vegetables etc.

今天是正月十五，中国的传统节日元宵节。元宵节，少不了的就是吃元宵和观花灯。经过我们大家的商议后，决定：先观灯展再吃汤圆。

就这样，我们便出门观花灯了。一路上，我们边唱着奶奶教我和姐姐的歌谣：“正月十五月儿明---正月十五月儿明，家家户户闹花灯，走马灯，凭气转，转出一片好风景。”边欣赏着路旁色彩绚丽的花灯。这花灯一个比一个漂亮，一个比一个富有新意。我根据它们的形态、寓意，为花灯们取了属于各自的名字：这是威武无比的“二龙戏珠”灯;这是乖巧可爱的“玉兔捣药”灯;这是美丽迷人的“龙凤呈祥”灯;这是逆流前进的“鲤鱼跳龙门”灯;那是“五彩斑斓龙舟”灯……还有两个令我印象最为深刻的、最富创意的“古代迎亲”灯和“诗情画意山水”灯。要说两个花灯最富新意一点也不夸张，因为其它的灯做得再好，不过也就是些龙啊凤啊之类的，没有什么令人眼前一亮的创意，我刚刚所提到的两个灯与其相比起来难道不彰显新意吗?况且，“古代迎亲”灯和“诗情画意山水”灯做工相当精致。先说前者，无论是乐队还是新郎官都栩栩如生，透过花轿薄薄的窗纱，还可以清晰的望见新娘盖头上漂亮的金色绣花。并且，唢呐手“吹”响手中的唢呐，嘹亮且美妙的声音渲染了一种喜庆的气氛。再看后者，“连绵不绝”的“山”上有许多小猴子、小绵羊在嬉戏玩耍。山下，有“一望无际”的草地与潺潺的流水，小狗在草地上打滚儿，几只猩猩躺在地上，静静地欣赏迷人的月亮…在山头的后面有一只老虎用贪婪、凶残的眼神望着它们，好像在伺机向这些可爱的动物们发起进攻。怎么样，这花灯是不是很漂亮?

观完花灯，天色已晚，于是，我们便回家了。回到家中，妈妈为我们每个人都煮了一碗花生汤圆，边吃汤圆边回想起过世的奶奶教给我的另一个歌谣：“正月里来正月正，正月十五挂花灯，耍狮子舞大龙，圆圆的汤圆碗里盛，你一口我一口，甜美的生活好心情。”只觉得嘴里的汤圆更加香甜了。

A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully and before it blossomed, he examined it.

He saw the bud that would soon blossom ,but noticed thorns upon the stem and he thought, “how can a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns?” saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose, and just before it was ready to bloom…it died.

So it is with many people. Within every soul there is a rose. The God-like qualities planted in us at birth, grow amid the thorns of our faults. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects.

We despair, thinking that nothing good can possibly come from us. We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies. We never realize our potential.

Some people do not see the rose within themselves; someone else must show it to them. One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns of another, and find the rose within them.

This is one of the characteristic of love… to look at a person, know their true faults and accepting that person into your life…all the while recognizing the mobility in their soul. Help others to realize they can overcome their faults. If we show them the “rose” within themselves, they wel conquer their thorns. Only then will they blossom many times over.

Open happy heart just after the Spring Festival, is celebrated the Lantern Festival. Today is Friday, our school has carried out a happy celebration of this days activity.

In the morning, I was carrying a bag as usual went to the school, at the entrance of the building, he saw a big, red lanterns hanging above. Oh! He reminded us - today school to carry out activities that celebrate yuanxiao, we began to decorate the classroom, with a few big lantern, the back of the classroom also put the tiger stickers, ribbon and decorating, doors with pepper and finally to the activities such as in the beginning, this activity has two contents. We started an activity, that is each team about information on the Lantern Festival, hear teams, I learned a lot of knowledge, and its interesting, our team play, although I wont go up, but I also cheer for them in my mind, our team finished, start comparison, although our turnout came in third place, I also feel proud for our team. The next activity content is guess riddles, the students are sitting in my position, look at riddles, playing on the projection screen play everyone is scrambling to raise hand vies to answer first, right and prizes! But I always fall on somebody else, I just want to come out, was the other students guess.

开开心心的春节刚过，就迎来了热闹的元宵节。今天是星期五，我们学校开展了开开心心庆元宵的活动。

早晨，我还是像平常一样背着书包来到了学校，教学楼门口，，就看见上面挂着一个很大很红的灯笼。哦!他提醒我们—今天学校要开展庆元宵的活动，我们就开始布置教室了，挂着几只很大的灯笼，教室后面还贴着老虎的贴纸，门上贴着小辣椒和彩带，张灯结彩，终于等到了活动开始的时候，这次活动有两个内容。我们开始等一个活动，那就是个各小队说说有关元宵节的资料，听到各个小队的介绍，我学到了许多知识，又很有趣，我们小队上场了，我虽然没有上去，但是我也在心里为他们加油，我们小队讲完了，开始评比，虽然我们的投票率排在第三，我也为我们小队感到光荣。下一个活动内容是猜灯谜，同学们都坐在自己的位置上，看着打在投影屏幕上打出的灯谜，大家都争先恐后的举手抢答，答对了还有奖品呢!可是我总是落在人家，我刚想出来，就被其他同学抢猜了。

开开心心庆元宵活动在欢声笑语中结束。

正月十五闹花灯，吃过晚饭，我们全家走上街头去观灯。

这时夜幕已经拉开了，广场到处都是各式各样的彩灯，真是灯的世界，人的海洋，世纪广场人山人海，礼花五颜六色。正是“火树银花闹全城，万头攒动赏花灯。莫怪人称第一景，亿兆星斗灿龙宫。”在人群拥挤下，我们顾不得细看，跟着人群向前走，首先映入我眼帘的是个大公鸡型灯，只见它全身羽毛艳丽，昂首挺胸正对着游人鸣叫，仿佛告诉人们春天来了。我还没有看够，就被闹闹嚷嚷的人群卷到了一盏鲤鱼灯前，只见它是长方体的底座，背景是清河水库管理局办公大楼的模型，前面有两条大鲤鱼，鳞片闪闪发光，鱼的嘴巴一张一合，尾巴一摇一摆的，好像正在为游人拜年。真是：“鱼跃碧波锦绣春，闻鸡起舞合家欢。”继续向前走，是清河钢厂的机械灯，长方体底座上两只威风凛凛的大公鸡在鸣叫，旁边是一个菱形的机械转盘，一面写着吉字，一面写着钢厂简介，说钢厂2004年产量达到7万吨，利税1898万元，分别比去年增长35%、48%。“真是金鸡报晓滕盛事，钢水银花闹新春。”我无比感慨中，眼前出现了一座大型机械灯，他的底座是长方体的，上面一位童子在打金蟾，让它吐出更多的钱，金蟾的嘴巴一张一合，前面有8个大小不一的铜钱和一个聚宝盆，盆上写着吉祥如意。这是在祝清河人鸡年发大财。人们议论纷纷，这时只听见路上传来阵阵锣鼓声，一群秧歌队走来，这边锣鼓响，那边礼花鸣，地上人头攒动，天上流光四射，真是太美了。

那熠熠发光的彩灯，照得黑夜如同白昼，使人们看到生活的甜蜜，人人脸上漾着笑容!

难忘，正月十五夜……
