又过了些天，小女孩要过生日了，她没有邀请同学，因为没有父母的陪伴，没有生日蛋糕，没有漂亮的衣服，她感到很窘迫。生日的晚上，她翻来覆去睡不着，便起来给自己过生日，她拿起一上次为同学买的蜡烛，一一的点烯，然后插到地上，围成一个圈，她对着月亮和满天的繁星唱起了：“祝你生日快乐……”歌声中飘荡着点点泪花。就这样，在只有月亮和星星的夜晚里，她度过了自己十四岁生日，她是多么羡慕同们啊！她对生活失去了信心，她把自己的孤独和无奈写在了日记上。第二天，老师把她的日记念给同学们听，此时此刻，教室里响起了雷鸣的掌声，老师走过来，和蔼可亲的对她说：“你不是孤独的，你不有老量贩关爱，同学们的陪伴。”老师的话像蜜一样滋润了她受伤的心灵，她的眼睛模糊了……

生活就是这样，有时，你的一句话会唤醒一个人的良知；有时，你的一片掌声会鼓励舞一个人走向成功；有时，你的一个微笑会挽救一受伤的心灵。

渐渐的，她越来越自信，越来越开朗了，尽管她依旧经常做梦，见到久别的妈妈，然后又惊醒。但她知道变了——因为那一片响彻心肺的掌声。
